“What's not to like about this place. The managers do take their jobs seriously and i don't see the place burning labor, everyone seems to be busy. The food has never been a disappointment. I will tell you that I like the "Joes" pizza. Wish it was here longer. Other than that I don't have a favorite I like to mix it up every time I am in. The ravioli is a standard for me and the service is above industry standard. They do earn their tips.

I do like to see an owner put money back into their business and this one did. New lighting, some new paint, brand new bar extension with outdoor extension and seating. Watching the staff cohesiveness is like watching Mr. Deeds and getting small town vibes or Mystic Pizza family. Do yourself a favor and give the family a night out and make Minsky's your destination. “This was my first time , I heard from kids school and wanted to try it . The people there were very friendly and kind... It was peaceful and welcoming.

A little more ambiance with the "alley" seating could liven up the seating arrangements but overall this is an amazing place with the best Italian bread I've had this side of Philly. I didn't specifically see a Philly cheesesteak but oh my if they have one I can only imagine how amazing it is.“

“Wanna give serious kudos to the staff at this place, we had two tables of 6 walk in for a 6:45 reservation on a Saturday night and my friends booked the wrong days (totally our fault) and the host was so kind and just automatically said that she could figure it out, we just came from a full day at waterworld so we were HUNGRY haha. Loved our server Dylan and the food was freaking awesome and for the price of $22 it way exceeded my expectations! I live in foco and will absolutely be back 🙂“

“4 sisters, all born in the area, visiting KC for the first time since 1967! Found Anthony’s for some great Italian takeout. Reminded us of one of our favorite local Italian restaurants back home. Friendly hosts and staff, food was nicely packed and delicious. There was a mistake on the online menu but they went above and beyond to make it right, offering a refund and Reid called us to be sure we would get our money back before they closed for the night. Very generous and impressed with their service.“

“Almost forgot how wonderful this place is.
They no longer have the pulled mozza cart but they make up for it with a lot of Burrata on the menu which is always a winner.
I started with the espressotinni which was a mix between an espresso martini and a carajillo, as they mixed espresso with vodka, orange liqueur, coffee liqueur and their house made amaro. Fantastic!
The focaccia with the basil butter was amazing. We followed that with the panzanella salad which was to die for and so refreshing and well balanced with the pickled beans.
The radiatore (pictured) was so yummy with the corn chowder and we finished with the braised pork shoulder with polenta which was perfect. I had the Sangiovese which paired well with the last 2 dishes.
Park in the parking garage past the hotel in the right. You pay $15, but it was worth it not trying to find a spot on the street.“

“Stopped in on Monday for a quick bite to eat. I sat at the bartop. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Alexis took great care of me. She knew the menu well and provided efficient service, while also giving great food suggestions for me. The manager stopped by and introduced himself, which is always a good sign for me. First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.“
