“We decided to make a reservation about 4 hours before just for a date night with my husband. Food was amazing as always. Tentative waitstaff and what I loved most was that we were not rushed. This only unfortunate part was we were too full after bread, drinks, wine, lobster bisque and steak with yummy sides to have dessert. LOL“

While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. “Chat GPT had directed us here on Saturday the 4th. The food was great! My son and I each had the Salmon with Sweet Potato fries. We had both flown in from 2 different states for a couple of attractions. After the Salmon we finished off a huge slice of Carrot Cake. The best I have ever had. Annie M was very attentive, kind and had a very happy face. For everyone, actually. I just wanted to say how pleased and surprised we were with how good everything was. “Curry udon is one of my favorite Japanese food. I keep trying to find it in restaurants around Cincinnati. Here has the one close enough to original curry udon. Other restaurants just only light curry look like soup more than curry. I’ll go back and try more menu.“

“I was in town and Agave & Rye was recommended to me. I stopped in on 9/10/22 talked with Emma the hostess and explained I was having a few friends to stop by not sure how many between five and ten. She accommodated me at the high rise table back by the windows which was perfect for my nine guest. Sarah was our excellent server, she continually checked in on us even thou I saw her working outside as well. Our drinks were awesome and our food was really good. “I’ve been coming here for a couple years. It is a gem of a place. You cannot find better food for this price downtown or anywhere else in general. Every member of the team there is very friendly and has nailed customer service. Today I was inspired to write this review because I saw the chef making some French toast. He was treating the motions with so much care, attention, and grace, it was like watching an artist at work. It is clear the people here take pride in their work, and you can taste it. “The BEST veggie burger i have ever had in my entire life. I’m an outsider and am here in Cinci visiting family. I was a little weary coming to a beef joint as I can’t eat red meat due to chemotherapy. (Ironic, I know). The owners went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that they were able to segregate my burger from the red meat and clean the grill to the best of their ability. I did not have a reaction other than “when can I come back!”. The house made ranch and ketchup were so tasty, I’d almost be willing to sneak it on the plane to come home with me. I 10/10 recommend this place.“

“Mia was excellent. Great service and food. We had reservations on a Sunday at 1130. When we arrived, the restaurant was basically empty. We were seated - four adults looking to enjoy each other's company. Approximately 15 minutes after we sat down, the hostess sat a large party that included 5 toddlers. The noise level went through the ceiling. the entire restaurant was empty - or nearly so. What inspired the staff to sit this noisy bunch near us? We had just started eating making requesting a move very inconvenient to us.“

“Benson Paige is a pup who has lived in a shelter for a whole year. Today is his last day on earth since he is being humanely euthanized tomorrow. A foster took him out and spent some time at Bloc, so benson got to finally cuddle up on a couch. He finally got to eat a whole plate of eggs, a plate of bacon and experience the good life- something he never got to experience before. Stevie the lead barista was incredibly kind and compassionate over the phone with me while I tried to coordinate getting benson a special treat and helped me make sure the foster & benson were taken care of and that he got to experience love.
