“We first stopped in to El Taco Feliz about two months after the location on 42 opened. It quickly became a favorite of ours, we now stop in as much as 4-6 times per week. Food is great, staff is friendly, it’s an awesome place, and I highly recommend it. Not only do I recommend, but it is my overall favorite restaurant in any category.“

“Came in about 5:00 p.m. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, it was limited staff at the moment, but we ended up getting three tacos, a side of rice, and some water, the steak tacos we're very juicy and tinder, the barbacoa flavor like the little profile, but it was a nice compliment.

The al pastor Taco I got was very nice, the pineapple and pork was stewed very well, and everything came with a very heaping pile of onions, plenty of lime.

The rice was quite nice, definitely not your standard Mexican restaurant style rice, it was obvious that it was cooked with peppers and made in-house, likely poblano.

Staff was very nice, and the restaurant was very clean although a little dull due to the lack of clientele at the time.“

“In town for business we visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening. We were greeted from the bar as we entered and instructed to sit wherever we wanted. We ordered the guacamole appetizer, which was chunky and flavorful. There are plenty of gluten free options. The burrito was massive, veggie tacos were loaded with goodies, and the pollo con espinacas was tasty. Rice and bean sides complimented the dishes.
Service was good. The server seemed busy so it took awhile to get an order in. She was polite and friendly. I'd recommend for some good Mexican food and drinks.“

“Chuy's continues to be one of our go to's for awesome Tex-Mex cuisine. The restaurant looks so fun and the people have been so nice to us and that was definitely no different this time. On this occasion I got their Steak Burrito which was stuffed with steak, Jack cheese, and Hatch Green Chile sauce. The steak and cheese was excellent with great flavour cooked into the steak. The Hatch Green Chile sauce however was a bit disappointing with it being advertised as being spicy but lacked both spice or really any flavour at all. Even so the the steak and cheese did make up for the shortcomings of the sauce for me. The Mexican rice was excellent as well. All in all another great visit to Chuy's.“

“My husband and I stumbled onto this restaurant in a strip mall late last summer. WOW! What a pleasant surprise! The lunch menu is rather extensive, and good prices. We've been back so many times we can't count, and have taken friends/family there many times for dinner. Dinner prices are roughly around $15, and serving sizes are hefty. Service is good (though if very busy, a tad slow for a large group). Servers are friendly and accommodating. Ambiance is good (though TVs run with sports, but volume is not a problem). My favorite: Polla del Norte!“

“So glad this restaurant is just around the corner from us as I will be getting my weekly fix of birria tacos every week! I always taste the taco first before ever dipping it in the consume and the taco alone was 5 star for me it the consume was one of the best I’ve tasted so I was sold sold sold! The Gaia was excellent too as were the refried beans and their taco supremes weren’t bad either - we had chicken, carnitas, and carne asado which was a bit dry but salsa verde to the rescue!). All in all a good experience - we’ll be back“

“Popped in here for the first time today. WOW. I am a vegetarian and have never seen so many options for me. While waiting for my order, I couldn’t help but notice how friendly each staff member was, their positive interactions with management, and how they all genuinely wanted to be there. I used to work for a major fast casual burrito chain……..and if I was still in that period of my life, I’d leave them to apply here so fast. The food itself is incredible. The marinated tofu is the best I’ve ever had, and that’s a bold statement because I’ve had tofu in many, MANY forms. New spot unlocked.“

“Fruitland is the best treat to hit Kentucky just the idea of real fresh fruit added to these delicious desserts makes the experience extremely enjoyable and the healthier snack alternative. My kids devour their carnitas tacos, every time we try something new it's on point. Their caldos are incredible. I have three kids and they all had adult entrees, as well as my husband and myself . . . and our bill came to 52. With plenty of leftovers. Yes your server may not speak English. But the menu is easy and they are patient. Highly recommend.“

For instance, I’m a 45-year-old gringo and can’t explain to how much I love the food at this place.
