“We first stopped in to El Taco Feliz about two months after the location on 42 opened. It quickly became a favorite of ours, we now stop in as much as 4-6 times per week. “Taco Queen absolutely delivers. Pulled up to the gravel parking lot and found a hidden gem. Got the 3 chicken tacos and every bite was on point perfectly seasoned, topped with fresh cilantro and onions, and packed with flavor. “The restaurant was much smaller than I expected; but don't let that detract from the quality and portion sizes of the food.

The salsa had a very nice spicy kick to it, without being over bearing; and the queso was spot on taste wise. (Could've been a bit warmer)

I was part of a larger party, so I'll only say that my meal (steak fajitas, rice and beans) was awesome!!! (I don't do guacamole or sour cream)

Everyone in the party seemed very happy with their meals also.“

I’m a traveling chef and a Texas girl, and I came in for lunch today. Let me say this upfront...being up here in the North, not everyone has been kind, and not everywhere understands real hospitality. That’s just been my experience traveling.
But this place right here? Completely different.
This spot stays JAM-PACKED...so packed there was no parking, and I had to park at the bank next door just to get in. I’ve driven by it many times, always seeing it busy, and today I finally said, okay, I’m going in.
From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a smile. When I sat down, I was greeted again....warm, attentive, genuine customer service. From the front door to the bar, every single person delivered. That alone earns respect.
Now let’s talk about the experience.
There’s a huge bowling alley inside....and yes, I literally did a double take walking out. We have places like this in Texas, but this one is just cool, well-run, and full of life.
I ordered a strawberry margarita, and that right there stood out...refreshing, balanced, and done right. I also had the mixed fajitas, and they were hot, flavorful, and satisfying, exactly what you want when you order fajitas.
Despite how busy it was, the service never slipped. The energy stayed positive, the smiles were real, and the hospitality was consistent.

“Chuy's continues to be one of our go to's for awesome Tex-Mex cuisine. The restaurant looks so fun and the people have been so nice to us and that was definitely no different this time. On this occasion I got their Steak Burrito which was stuffed with steak, Jack cheese, and Hatch Green Chile sauce. The steak and cheese was excellent with great flavour cooked into the steak. The Hatch Green Chile sauce however was a bit disappointing with it being advertised as being spicy but lacked both spice or really any flavour at all. Even so the the steak and cheese did make up for the shortcomings of the sauce for me. The Mexican rice was excellent as well. All in all another great visit to Chuy's.“

“Amazing authentic street tacos! Best tripe tacos I've ever had, lengua and cabeza tacos were to die for. The hot sauces are made in house and delicious, the red one is chilies and peanuts which I've never had before but was amazing! We can't wait to go back and try EVERYTHING. They have squash flower and corn smut tacos which are more options you don't often find outside of Mexico. Very happy with this place and you should go support them!! My kids devour their carnitas tacos, every time we try something new it's on point. Their caldos are incredible. I have three kids and they all had adult entrees, as well as my husband and myself . . . and our bill came to 52. With plenty of leftovers. Yes your server may not speak English. But the menu is easy and they are patient. Highly recommend.“
