“Upon entering, it smelled like cleaning products but it wasn’t that bad as once your in, you get used to the smell. Fried chicken wings were not that good. Pepper steak and sesame chicken combination platters with pork fried rice was so flavorful and good for a Chinese spot. The pork eggrolls were fine too.“

“We arrived forty-five minutes ahead of our reservation. I went ahead and checked in and informed them that we were going to sit at the bar for drinks. I was told I would receive a call when our table was ready. After our reservation time had passed, I went back to the check in podium and asked about it. I'm not sure how long we would have sat there if I had not brought it to attention. Our bartender, waitress, wait staff help, atmosphere, ambiance and food were all wonderful. Just a little irritated that I had to request a table agin.“

“I have heard good and bad about Capital Grille. Our waitress Amanda was open and honest about what we heard and was outstanding to speak with. It was our anniversary and we were treated like royalty. The food was superior to most places we've been to recently. Everyone was saw to it we were comfortable and well taken care of. We had not one but two I assume managers approach our table to ensure our dinner and experience was at par and I must say it was way above par. Amanda answered all questions and was the best server we have had in a long time. She was outstanding, vocal and catered to our every need. She is a true asset. We will be back. Wonderful place. Yes it was a little pricey but I am willing to pay it for the quality of food and service we experienced. Well worth it.“

“I visited my hometown a few days ago and had to have a whale sandwich. Best white fish sandwich around. I can’t get a good whitefish sandwich in central Ga. I brought some home in a cooler and it heats well in an air fryer. Taste just as good as getting it fresh.“

“We celebrated our anniversary here yesterday with a delicious lunch. Our server, Amanda, was so friendly and helpful! Hubby had the cod and fried oysters and declared the oysters were the best he ever had. My shrimp basket was loaded with huge shrimp and the Cajun fries were very good. We topped that great meal off with complimentary slices of strawberry and chocolate cheesecakes for our anniversary! We will definitely be back!“

“My visit to this Moby Dick fish restaurant left me disappointed. The fish sandwich didn't taste like I recalled from earlier years. I don't know if the batter or the oils in which the fish is fried has changed or if it was my taste buds being a bit off from hours earlier brushing my teeth with toothpaste and mouthwash rinse. Consequently, I'm not going to leave the three star rating I would if I knew for certain it wasn't my taste buds affecting the taste. Even still, the fish sandwich was hot and well prepared and tasted fine, but it seemed just a bit off from the exceptional taste I recalled from a regular visits a few years earlier when I regularly patronized the Moby Dick in St Matthews before it closed. I'll try it again soon and make sure I am hours away from having brushed and rinsed. Ha! I appreciate the Moby Dick establishment and that we still have it in Louisville, so I hope my taste buds were off.“

I placed my order online late last night when I read about the fresh crab and scheduled to pick it up at 4 today. He cooked it all right there in front of me, everything fresh and tasty. “We dined at the Hurstbourne location for Valentine's Day and was not disappointed!! There were full vases of flowers on every table as well as a Valentine's balloon. The restaurant was so festive, then to add to the ambiance a strolling violinist was playing a beautiful love song. My phone died so there aren't any pictures of the delicious food. The baskets of tortilla chips even had red heart shaped chips in the mix. Gustavo's pulled all the stops to make this holiday special for their customers!“

I mentioned in my reservation that it was our 1 year anniversary and the staff had our table sprinkled with rose petals, it seemed like every member of the staff came to our table and wished us a happy anniversary, and they wrote “Happy 1st Anniversary” on our dessert plate. They just made us feel so special and celebrated. Not to mention that it was the best steaks we've ever had!! We almost didn't even need a knife to cut it. It just melted in your mouth. And I think this was the best French onion soup I've ever had. Absolutely amazing!!!“
