“Decided to try this place on our road trip. It was delicious! A bit salty but still absolutely delicious! The Calamari didn't taste sweet or spicy but still no complaints. Thinly battered and tasted good even without doing in the sauce. I had the mussels in the white sauce and my husband had the red sauce. Our son had the sandwich. The bread was really soft (almost like French toast) and the short rib was so soft and tender. We also got the Mac & cheese for our daughters to share. At first they were skeptical because of the color (compared to Krafts) but after the first bite, they were convinced. It was so creamy. Our girls ended up having a little of everything and actually finished off their plates.“
“If I could give 10 stars I would. Our food was delicious and service was nice. The portion size was perfect for the price. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I would definitely come back. Thanks to Daniel for providing superb service!Kid-friendliness: My toddler really enjoyed himself.“
“Got three burgers to split and share amongst the group. All were very good. The bacon cheeseburger was really good. Mushroom and Swiss was super juicy and made to perfection. the best one was the one with prime rib, adding the au ju elevated the burger even more than it already was. The Cajun fries were more on the salty side, so I would probably just go regular next time. Lucky milkshake made with vanilla instead of mint chocolate chip- super thin kinda milky without the vanilla ice cream texture but the chocolate whip cream was where it's at. Definitely would recommend if you are in the mood for a juicy burger.“
“They are all the sweetest people. Christy is very generous and will help anyone in need, if asked. The food is just some good home cooking. If you haven't tried it, you should.Parking: Around 12 or 13000 block of Dixie highway. There are about 2 business size lots just to parkKid-friendliness: They young waitresses love kids. Will do almost anything to make a little happy.Wheelchair accessibility: Opened up entrance. Wheelchair accessable parking right outside the entrance.“
“Our brunch experience was pure perfection from start to finish, thanks to the extremely friendly staff (you know who you are, Tone ?) setting up additional outdoor tables on the patio for us without us even having to ask. The sun was out – and they knew where ours heads were at. ?All of the brunch dishes I’ve ordered here have been divine. The staff is always friendly, goes above and beyond, and doesn’t make their guests feel uncomfortable asking for meal substitutions/alterations from the listed menu items. Everything is very chill – the way brunch should be!Thanks for another great experience in the Highlands sunshine, HM! ☀️??Dietary restrictions: Staff doesn’t mind menu customizations upon request“
“Love this place! Each burger is very unique and seasoned to fit the style of where the meat came from. I have been here several times and have had the wagu, elk, and recently the yak burger. They were all so different and so good! Highly recommend if you want to try something new and different“
“My fiancé and I had our engagement party here recently and loved it! The general manager Chad, was extremely accommodating, professional, friendly and helpful! If you need somewhere to just grab some quick food, or if you’re looking for a space to plan an event, this is the place for you! I cannot recommend this place enough!“
“Absolutely phenomenal. If you are thinking about going, do it! If you aren't, you should be. They came to my place of work with the food truck for a lunch we had put on. The food was GREAT! Everyone enjoyed their food and talked about how good it was. The owner and her crew were amazing and wonderful to talk to. 100% will be going to their brick and mortar location and watching for where the post up in the food truck. Great food and great folks!!!“
“Just went in for drinks and to look around, so can't speak to food. I had a Bourbon concoction that was delicious. The bartender and server staff were very friendly and upstairs is a museum with lots of interesting history. Check this place out if you're in Bardstown.“
“People friendly no matter how you're dressed would love to see about part time employment got some experience...I do know fast food can be hetic sometimes...Dan or Jack I did leave my number as well....good good food and cooked very well.“
“Jay went above and beyond to serve our group on our way to the Louisville Airport. And man, this was a fantastic burger. The quality of the ingredients is obvious from the first bite. There is a passion behind this food. Oh, and the fries are cooked in BEEF TALLOW!! If you are a local - please support this trailer often. It’s a Louisville treasure!“
“Great spot along the Ohio River. Food was delicious. We had a Beer Cheese Burger, Classic Burger, Turkey & Guac sandwich, Brewery Fries, and Broad Ripple Chips. Unfortunately, the chips were mostly a pile of crumbs. They could have a bigger craft beer selection, and fewer IPAs. Also, the table we were sat at had the sun pouring through the glass. We kept having to slide our table back to get some relief. All in all, I'm sure we'll be back.“
“I love a good burger. But this place?Deliveried an outstanding double cheese burger.Onion rings perfectGrilled chicken salad totally awesome.Wished they had a Bacon Burger.Would've ordered more if I had the money cuz I live alone and hate cooking for myself.Fast and very friendly service.Wanna buy their food truck so I can fulfill my dreams of cooking awesome food like this for the masses. Will be back on a regular basis since I work and live around the corner.Weekend burgers is awesomeSorry but I ate some of the onion rings before I devoured this awesome burger.Like a boss.?.“
“The Public House is the same pendant as Against The Grain at Slugger Field but this location is smaller and more cozy. The pub serves pints of beer for four dollars from 4-7 weekdays. Sundays are usually a more quiet time to visit.Cardinals sports fans are welcome. Everyone who is friendly is welcome.“
“First time here, had many friends rave about this place. I got the Ollie Burger fulled dressed with cheese. Good old fashioned burger with great taste. Nothing fancy here, just good folks making great food. The seasoning on the fries is awesome. It brings back wonderful memories of the past and also the burgers and fries are the best! This place is the best known for their special sauce and seasoning on fries! So, get extra! The people were friendly and fast. A great experience from a unexpected place, the downside is this place is not open on the weekends and cash only“
“The donuts, donut holes, croissants (made in-house), and breakfast sandwich changed my life. From CA to KY these are the best donuts of my life. They would be the dessert of my Last Meal. Maybe the whole thing. Very reasonably priced. Family owned & the staff are so pleasant and helpful. If you're looking for low quality, expensive, pretentious donuts- this is not the place for you. If you want the best donuts in town, made with love, get here early. They run out for a reason- they're the only reason I get out of bed early. Thank you Clifton Donuts!!“
“Was in last night, ordered the Cuban, was informed by our server that they were not making those today. Had my heartbset on one, (best around) our server went to the kitchen and asked. They made one for me. I was really happy. It was amazing, our server was amazing. Thank you. 10/10“
“I can't wait to come back to this place and try some of the other restaurants, they all look so good. I had the Filipino fusion and it was top notch. Very fresh, the pork belly was some of the best I have had in a long time.Parking: Parking next to the Paris town Hall by the Old Forester building.Wheelchair accessibility: This could be accessed with a wheelchair.“
“Sometimes I pull up, go in and order and purchase the food, and eat it in my rig. Once ordered food preparation does not take long at all. The inside atmosphere is OK, could be a little more comfortable. My favorite burger here is the Elvis Presley burger. From two years ago when I first tried Burgers till now the burger has changed slightly. I say that their options and the way they handle their food is perfect every time. Other burger I had is a Royale, and I tried something new. They put blue cheese crumbles over the top of the egg so when it burst it was awesome! Richness of flavor and the blue cheese along with the beef kicked it up a notch. I also enjoy having a nice ice cold brew occasionally when I dine in.“
“We had fish sandwiches..it wasn't on the menu, but it was advertised on Facebook; the picture looked amazing! It was delicious! We ordered the appetizer of cauliflower, and it was good but a little spicy for our group, even with ranch. We had the best waiter, Charles! Funny, happy, very knowledgeable about the food! He really made our dining experience better! The banana pudding deserves five stars!“
“A local watering hole. A staple. Bambi is a legend and you can't say you've been to the Highlands unless you've been to Bambi for a drink or burger or better yet the "Bambi Walk". Always good service and a fun crowd! Do yourself a favor and make a trip, and liven up any afternoon or evening!“
“I've been going to Polly's Freeze since I was a youngster. It was great then, and it still holds up today! It's on the side of the road with plenty of space to spread out when you eat. You order at the counter and wait for them to call your number. You can get hot food and of course cold desserts. My family has always loved the rotating sherbet (this is actually the place where I learned the word is sherbet, not sherbert). It can get busy on a nice day, but the employees are quick and keep it moving. It is a seasonal business, and you need to visit.“
“Nice vibes. Friendly staff. Had a cali burger with sweet potato fries and a bloody Mary, the fries and drink were amazing. The burger however, while looking beautiful lacks any flavor or soul. Was thoroughly disappointed by the flavor or lack thereof.“
“The food here is amazing. You get a ton of food for the price. This is always at the top of our list when deciding where to eat out!! Our family tells everyone we run into about Barry’s. So much thought and heart has gone into this business.“
“Went on a Saturday night. Did street parking (after 6pm is free). You get a wrist band at the entrance or at the bar and order drinks/pay for the wrist band. There is a sports bar in the basement, stage/seating/bar on levels 1/2, private event space level 3, and overnight quarters on level 4. Level 3 has a patio overlooking Main Street and a balcony indoors that overlooks the stage on level 1. Order food at the food kiosks and pick up on the lower basement level. Really liked the burgers and side of cole slaw. Multiple drink options at the bar.“
“I just edited my review for this place. 7 months ago I gave it 1 star. I stopped going for a long time and honestly I only went back yesterday cause I had coupons. I will say this. My experience yesterday was a complete change around. The manager named Joe took our order and he was so pleasant and energetic. Everyone there had a better vibe. My food was so fresh and hot. I needed extra sauce and he brought to my table and had a quick chat. As a manager i want to tell him great job!!! The turn around at that store amazed me.. We will be back.“
“Pig beach is incredible. They got off to a rocky start but now they’ve hit their groove and it’s amazing and so exciting to have such good food and bev in that location finally.F&BEverything on the food menu is on point (my favorite is the brisket), and the spirits/beer/wine selection is one of the best in the city. They also have talent behind the bar on their cocktails. Patrick does a fabulous job.AtmosphereIt’s massive, so it’s a great place to go with a large group. Because it’s so big you can also find nooks or sit at the bar if you’re rolling solo. Another tough thing to find is a place to watch a game with good tvs, space, and quality food and Pig Beach nails it’s.LocationIt’s one of the only restaurants on the river walk/bike path. So when the weather is nice it’s a great place to end at on a walk, run, or bike ride.“
“If you want to see a Louisville game on a big screen, check this place out. Spread across six 55" TV's, making a slightly stretched 150” image, there's no way you're missing any action! Decent bar food, friendly service and a pool table in the back. Fun to be had for sure.“
“I love this place. The food is amazing, nothing fancy but it is stupendous. The service is always top notch, they go above and beyond for their customers. It is a neighborhood bar so that ambiance may put some off but all walks of life are welcome and treated well here.“
“I work late so finding a restaurant or bar with the kitchen still open is very difficult, so I am always on the hunt. A few days ago I stumbled upon this lovely place via google and let me tell youuuu, the food was top tier & the service was even better. The chef was amazing, very personable, and even had a bit of humor. Me & my work crew will definitely be back! PS. That smash burger was worth the trip alone!“
“First time here. We were happy to find out it was a special price for burgers night, so for a single patty burger, any variety it was $7, sides extra. We got the Spinach Artichoke Jalapeño dip as an appetizer. It was really delicious. I ordered the Mexican street fries, and they were good, but not worth the extra uncharge. Next time I’d just get the regular fries for a few dollars less.I got the Clifton burger which was very yummy. Hubby got the house cheeseburger. It was good, but mine was better. Nice, clean atmosphere. It was trivia night in the back, but we didn’t participate. Maybe next time.“
“Have only had twice. Delivery and dine in. The burger was decent, the piggy piggy (I believe it was named) was quite good and I would definitely have that again. The atmosphere is severely lacking. Not inviting at all and pretty sure it has no heat (or it wasn't on) inside. The person behind the counter, who I believe was also cooking in back when we came in, wasn't very friendly, but she seemed busy. We ordered at the kiosk at the counter once she came out front and informed us how to order. All in all, I recommend their food for sure. Their drinks were like $3.50 I believe for 16.9oz bottles, or 12oz cans. Bottled water was free however. Hopefully the atmosphere is better during the warmer months.“
“True burger joint. Apparently in business 30 years. Food takes a minute, but it's worth it. Everything cooked to perfection, and the shout-out this place got in Southern Living magazine about the fries, that's why we came to see and weren't disappointed. My food in the picture is a bean burger with egg on top. I'm a vegetarian, and this dish was delish!“
“Fairly priced. Great quality meat. I'm kind of hard on french fries because the majority of them are the same. But theirs have great texture, which makes them well above average. Great atmosphere no matter if you're dinning with family, or work colleagues or just with friends. Would highly recommend.“
“This place was super fun, my family was visiting Louisville for spring break and we stopped here for dinner, this magical dinner had good food and nice workers, my parents said there drinks were amazing and they even had another one. Out waiter suggested his personal favorite foods and it was great if you go make sure you check out the burger of the month and soup of the day. The whole place was like a fairy tale. Even the menu was a little bit magical the waiter took my siblings to a hidden book case door. This plave has some amazing history to itself. If you ever visit Louisville Kentucky you must check this place out I highly recommend itKid-friendliness: This wonderful ace was like a kids dream.“
“I love the food, service and atmosphere but what I love most is how they donate a burger for hungry children for every burger purchased. This trip was to have my parents who were in from out of town enjoy the food and atmosphere and it was a hit!“
“No cap, this place is at the heart of why Louisville is a foodie city. Ask somebody whose fam is from here if they or their fam ever ate at this place - you're gonna get an entire story involving Grannies, Uncles, and/or best friends from "back in the day."Parking: You can drive there, just make sure to take a seat and chat/fellowship w some friends on a nice sunny day. ☺️“
“A perfect little hole in the wall bar tucked away where you have to know to be able to get to it. They've got three pool tables, dart boards, Golden Tee and video bowling. Also a nice Touch Tunes setup. The bar staff is super friendly and will remember you. The food is hot and salty. The beer is cold. They have tons of Christmas decorations in December making it feel like a comfy spot to hang all night long.“
“Always seen this place and had never been in, wish i had come before. We had breakfast there today. Forgot to take some pictures of what we all chose. Food was amazing for a great price. A small diner. Will take some photos next time. Will definitely be going back for lunch items. I was told they do Guatemalan and Mexican cuisine on some nights, I think I have that right. But absolutely loved it.“
“Went in to grab a bite to eat, had a great experience. Bartender, I think Drew was his name, was very friendly and attentive. Our food was really good, we got chicken and beef sliders. They put some sugar and stuff on their fries and it was really good. Nice atmosphere, good music, and decent selection of bourbon/whiskey for what it was. If you go in there expecting super high end bourbon, you're gonna be disappointed but for what it was, they had good stuff. I would go back here to grab some food again.“
“My husband and I decided to try our new neighborhood DQ on Taylor Blvd. I had a coupon that they didn’t accept and the manager kindly told me a nearby location that would accept it. I decided to stay based on the good reviews I had read and they did not disappoint. The young workers were kind and actually working hard. We sat down to wait and a young lady brought our blizzards to us instead of yelling out the order at the counter, which is what I’m used to. The blizzards were so delicious with our chosen toppings mixed abundantly throughout the entire cup. Thank you!! We will be back for sure.“
“I don’t go inside ever and rarely ever go in the daytime anyway, but this BK is one of the best fast food places I’ve ever experienced when it comes to accuracy and service. That’s insanely rare, especially for a night shift. They rival CFA.“
“Food was fresh and cooked in front. Got my food in 10 mins. Shawarma rice was cooked perfectly but the meat tasted a little flat. I asked for hot sauce but it was a sour sauce which made the entire dish sour. The amount was good. Service was satisfactory. I will give it another try without hot sauce next time. They have outdoor seating options.Parking: You can park next to the food truck.“
“Really great food and service. Everything is always correct and they are so fast. I wanted to take the time to give a special callout to a lady named abbey (not sure on the spelling) she is the one that usually takes my order. She is always super nice and polite. She also knows how to take an order correctly, if you do much carry out from places you understand that it seems many places don’t understand their own menus. Marks please keep up the great work and awesome food, thanks.“
“My mom and my favorite place for wings and fried fish! Always a pleasant crowd; the back room is always full of cops on their lunch breaks!Keep in mind this is a very, very casual bar and grill! Standard beer and alcohol offerings…pleasant and friendly staff.“
“Fantastic burger. Fantastic fried chicken. Fries need some name recognition as they are as good as Ollie's fries and crispyyyyy as all can be.I was the only one there (granted at 11 15 in the morning) and it took about 10 minutes to get a FRESH burger and fried chicken sandwich so hot I could feel the steam rolling up and out of the bag. This team knows what they are doing and I'll 100% be back for this delicious food.Vegetarian options: Veggie burger“
“Ordered through Uber Eats and initially thought it was going to be a hassle because I was charged too much. That issue got sorted out through Uber, but Hubert and Joe, at the Poplar location worked my order and it got to me fresh and delicious. I'll definitely patronize in the future.“
“Hamburgers were tasty but they got the toppings incorrect. It was a carryout so we just went with the flow. We'll go there again.Parking: This restaurant shares the parking lot with several other stores, so sometimes there is competition for parking spaces“
“This is a great spot- it's nice to have a view of the water and feels semi-private even with others on the courts. We've usually reserved courts online (easy), but also had luck with day-of openings, too. It's been a particularly fun girls night for something other than typical dinner or drinks. Love that there is an indoor bar option if the weather turns, too. Staff friendly, and good variety of cocktails/mocktails/beers.“
“I just wanna say that this McDonald's has came a long ways in customer service and being very friendly. Going the extra mile to help out the community. I was trying to feed some people who needed it and this lady named Roynisha went the extra mile! Between her, Alisha and the staff. They was all very friendly and willing to help. May God bless them with many blessings. Thank you so much for the help. I know nothing can be perfect at all times but this crew goes the extra mile. Love you guys n gals, I just wanna say, I'm Lovin it! I hope that whoever reads this rating understands how great this place really is. There is burger joints everywhere now days but not very many who treats the customer with respect. This store truly makes you feel like family. Thank you!Parking: I think the store needs a overhaul but the parking is just fine.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly as far as the staff but no where for kids to play and that's a shame. I remember back when I was a child and that kept us talking about McDonald's to our parents. I hope that some day, you guys will do some remodeling.Wheelchair accessibility: Just fine“
