“Tonight was our first time at 80/20 Kaelin's and we'll definitely come back. I had the fried chicken and brussel sprouts. Both were excellent but especially the brussel sprouts. Our waiter was phenomenal. I didn't get his name but he was a red haired gentleman. Not only did he make sure we always had what we needed but he kept us laughing. From his favorite football team, to getting cut off by a Packers fan, to what he does (other than being a waiter) for a living. The laughs didn't stop!! That, to me, is priceless. “So…. This giant was standing in front of the building shouting across the street at me about how this place had the best burger in town. So I calmly said I would be back to talk about it. Went to the cross walk and waited for the light and bee bopped my happy butt back up there to speak with him. He went on to claim that the double Colorado with bacon and fried egg was the best burger ever. Hmmm. We will see about that. Long story short….. after a short wait I was presented with this huge nasty good looking 🍔 burger. Geeeeezus. It was some kind of yum. And the fries with rosemary, garlic, and olive oil. Wow. Anyway. Now I’m stuffed. Very good burger. It’s a belly full. Will be back for another one. Oh yeah….. If the giant had not been on the sidewalk showing such enthusiasm for the burgers, I would have never Even noticed the place. Congrats to the big guy. 👍😀“

“Upon walking in @grindburgerkitchen I immediately caught the vibe - new age, hole in the wall burger joint with some killer artistic flair. The ambiance was welcoming and perfectly slow for a Wednesday evening. My good friend Nate and I sat down and conversed over some of the best food I’ve ever had in Louisville. I pulled out my supplies and begin to draw and paint. In his collaborative style, Nate began to snap a few candid photos as I created. Slowly the waitresses notice my work and send a compliment. I explained more about the piece and how I’d like to trade when the General Manager introduces herself and peeks at the piece. She seems quite excited and runs to the back to find something to trade me for the art - a pink disco cup. Thank you, Grind Burger for the amazing food & friendly faces. We’ll be back!“

“Ate at Christi's last evening . As usual the food was great, however the service was slightly slow..I ordered Ice Tea to drink with my meal and had to ask twice about it before I actually got it. Christi's is in serious need of renovation“

“I arrived here at 9:45 PM after my flight was delayed and I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before bed. I got the wings and the brisket melt. Food came out super fast and was delicious. The brisket was super tender and the wings had a great smoky flavor. I do wish the buffalo was spicier but I tend to prefer a lot spicier food most. Bartender was friendly. I definitely recommend this place to others.“

“We had an event at Upland, in their large banquet room, last week, and it was not a simple set up or take down for us. Anna and the team at Upland allowed us enough access, beforehand, to transform the room into something spectacular. The appetizers and meals were top notch, served buffet style, with beef, chicken, salads, vegetables, potatoes, vegetarian skewers and more. The staff worked hard to accommodate us and the guests were all happy with the food and how we had set everything up. The were a few hiccups, like the bar having limited choices for guests. It was that there were not choices, but better known brands were unavailable, though their own brands were (and some were pretty good). Also, the staff was so stealthy, that we didn’t realize dinner had been served. We also weren’t sure how to turn some lights on when it got darker outside. Those negatives did not have an affect on the overall party and how it was received, though. I give the an 9 out of 10, knowing that those things wouldn’t happen again.“

“I was visiting my son and grandson and we went to drakes last night. I had never been before but I can’t wait to go again. First and foremost I wish I’d have gotten the name of our server. She was the best I’ve ever had! She was so kind and attentive and I hope management will recognize her for the gem she is! The food was amazing as well! “We just came in from Minnesota, Toya was our bartender. She was amazing!! Friendly, fun, energetic and fun. I asked her if she had a specialty shot we could try and she enthusiastically said “yes”! “I live very close to here and my kids like to go over just to run around.. there is tons of open space and seating on the covered patio n outside area. I have eaten at Jeffs doughnuts, Bandits pizza and Bunz burgers (I haven't eaten here since Bunz has moved to this location but Im quite sure its the same delicious food) and all 3 are super delicious. Jeffs doughnuts is kinda pricey.. for a doughnut i mean and Bandits pizza and Bunz burgers has very reasonable pricing. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. “I stopped by Rally's after hearing so much about their famous seasoned french fries. I was expecting something unforgettable, but honestly, they were just okay for me personally. I even bought a frozen bag of the fries months later to bake at home because I kept thinking maybe I had missed the magic the first time around.

That said, Rally’s is still a very well-known American fast-food brand with a classic drive-thru experience and a bold, recognizable style. The building design itself stands out immediately with its retro red, white, and black look, giving it that old-school roadside burger stop feeling. The drive-thru service was quick and convenient, especially if you’re passing through and want something fast and affordable.

Even though the fries didn’t completely live up to the hype for me, the rest of the menu may be where the real flavor shines for many people. It’s one of those iconic fast-food spots that feels very connected to American road-trip culture and quick comfort food.“
