“I came here after running the Louisiana marathon so ordered a ton of food. The Korean tofu is the best tofu I’ve ever had in my life - a must-try if you like spicy food. Indonesian noodles were excellent. I got the lasagna to go and it looks beautiful. I was not expecting to find vegan lasagna in Baton Rouge! Staff is great and it’s a nice sit-down spot. “The negative: Parking lot was small; had a difficult time getting my truck out after someone parked near me while I was dining. Was also there 5 to 10 minutes before I had the waitress’s attention. The positive: Food was absolutely outstanding. Roux was perfect. Remoulade was close to world class; I’ve had it in 5 star restaurants in Vegas that wasn’t this good. Kind of food you travel a bit to get to. I’ll put up with the negatives if that’s indicative of the rest of their menu.“

“Passing through from Texas to Alabama and traffic was stopped on the Mississippi River bridge so we decided to get off and eat while traffic cleared. Luckily we found this place. Outside seating so our dog could join us. But then the great friendly service we received for us excited for the food. This may be the road weirdness talking but this burger was amazing. Big, juicy the right amount of toppings. And the crinkle cut fries were perfectly fried and crisp held onto the ketchup like it was supposed to do. Very happy we got this lucky. We will be stopping again on our next time through.“

“I don’t know if anyone reads anything from this site but I wanted to post a rave for the Baton Rouge location. My mom was transferred into hospice care on the day I ate at your restaurant. It was a horrible day until the nicest server/waitress I have ever had sat us down. She couldn’t have known what we were going through or how much she brightened our day. She was pregnant, I know that. Otherwise I don’t remember her name. One of those days I guess. She just had this light about her and when she smiled Everything seemed a little better. I think God put her there at that moment. Hopefully she will be there the next time we go. But if not I was posting this to tell her thankyou for being you. And good luck with your pregnancy. “Unique Cuisine was a hit at my daughter’s rehearsal dinner and wedding. The standard of excellence from the ladies in the office to the chefs and service staff is superior. This company works hard to make its customers happy and it shows in every dish. I am in awe of how they manage to provide large quantities of food with amazing flavors, cooked to perfection, and beautiful to boot. There is no one else I would trust with such an important event in our lives.“

“Everything about Doe's is amazing! We were celebrating our anniversary, and Doe's is our go-to place for a celebration — anniversary, birthday, promotion. The hostess wished us “Happy Anniversary” when we arrived, and so did Chris, our waiter. Every bite was perfect —tamales, salad, ribeye, potatoes, fried rolls, and white chocolate bread pudding. I would love to have whoever makes the tamales and chili to teach me how to make both dishes — I would pay good money to learn their secret. We will be back! “We visited Waffle House in Zachary - Saturday. The atmosphere and service were fantastic. The team work witnessed was outstanding. Hat off to the staff, manager and especially to Junior, the food was great! He worked professionally the entire we were there. A 5 star visit.“

“The best fried catfish I have had in many years. Season perfectly and the coating was a southern style crunchy (if that makes sense). I can't wait to try some of their other dishes and the owner and staff was attentive, accommodating and on point. Let's not forget about the prices... they were right too. “My family and I dined at South Plains Food Company for Mother's Day. The total experience for us was amazing. While we expected to have to wait for seating just because it was Mother's Day - it really, for us, was not too bad. we got seated and the awesomeness was present. Our server, Miss T was amazing. She was very professional in all aspects of her duties, she was friendly but not overly so, she took care of us as if we were her only guests - or course we know that was not the case. Serving simply appeared to be easy for her. Additionally, we observed staff working together to clear tables when guests finished their meal, which allowed those waiting to be seated more quickly. Please remember to ask for Miss T, you will be glad you did.“
