“Brought my mother and two friends to eat a couple weeks ago....these are some really special people(friends) to us ...we used to eat at their Hammond restaurant before they relocated in Baton Rouge....and their food is still as it was in Hammond....THE BEST...the food was so delicious ...food was presented so beautiful on the plates ,it was almost to pretty to eat and our waiter was so kind to us all...if your looking for some great Chinese Cuisine then go no further....Go to Chengs“

Gyat DANG! Y'all been holding out on me! I got the L11 today and requested my fried rice spicy. Y'all... that spiced pork fried rice was heaven. Just yhe right amount of heat and flavor to really level up this dish. The teriyaki chicken was not sickly sweet like many places make it. And that wonton soup tasted simple and clean. ALLLLL this good was 10 bucks before tip. YowzaH! If you haven't been in a long time like me, they have stepped this place up. Zero complaints, deserves 10 stars, fast service, everything fresh, brought yourself here right away, tou won't regret it, just make sure you ask them to make the rice spicy, and thank me later!“

“I've been eating at China Express since I was in highschool over a decade ago. There has never been a time where they got my order wrong or the quality or portion sizes have been bad. Their service is always great and they've always been kind to me. Literally no other fast food Chinese restaurant compares. They have the most variety, affordable options, consistent quality, and great service.

My favorite is always the Sesame Chicken and Buddha's Delight but you can't go wrong anywhere on the menu.“

“First off, this place is in a pretty empty shopping center. If you put it in the gps, it'll be pretty easy to get there. I walked in and it was pretty quiet, but very clean. I got the Mongolian beef lunch plate and it was superb!! The meat was tender and the fried rice was definitely some of the best that I've ever had. That's a compliment because a lot of these places fried rice is horrible!! The lunch prices are some of the best in the area including a drink. I'll definitely make this a regular spot!“

“China Town is the only place I go to for my vegetable fried rice. Let me tell you… they have THE BEST garlic sauce in town! When I began ordering from China Town, I had EVERYONE in my office ordering my exact order. We eat there at least 2 times a week. Service is swift. Food is great. They are kind. “This is a very relaxed, casual little restaurant that has been our favorite year after year. We are two old folks who like different things, so we always each have the luncheon buffet and a drink. We go early, early and are there by 11 AM, generally the first in line. He has chicken, while I have beef. The food is always fresh, simply cooked and delightful. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. These folks have our highest recommendation.“

“We like this place, easily in the top 3 of all Chinese food in Baton Rouge. We like the hot and spicy chicken (very spicy) Kung Pao chicken and Mongolian Beef (also spicy). Everything was a bit on the spicier side than expected but we love spicy here! so no complaint from me but just as a guide for others. I personally love it that a place actually makes the dishes that are supposed to be spicy actually spicy! At most other places even the dishes that are supposed to be spicy have zero heat to them, so I applaud this place!

The Beef and Broccoli is also great. Egg rolls and Crab Rangoon very good. Only thing we don't like is the teriyaki chicken it comes on a stick and was over cooked, it pretty tough but the crispy outside was nice and flavor good and the fried rice isnt the best I have ever had but most dishes have a sauce on the meat part and mixes well with the rice to make the rice so good! Staff are always very friendly and helpful, we will keep going here.“

“We were really impressed with the P.F. Chang’s Restaurant. The interior is nicely done, pretty yet very casual. The food is also very good, sort of Americanized Chinese cuisine. My teriyaki beef on rice was very tasty. Our server was friendly and very attentive and the dessert was delicious.“

“I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was steaming hot, freshly made just for us. I really appreciated the family-friendly vibe, especially in such a busy area like LSU. Even with all the traffic, the relaxing dining space offered a nice change of pace. While seating is somewhat limited, there was still plenty of room to feel comfortable. The owners are truly wonderful people who genuinely care about their food and customers, just as much as they do about their family and business. I ordered the spicy shrimp with mixed vegetables and extra gravy, along with lo mein noodles and a non-pork egg roll. My business partner tried the sesame seed chicken with egg fried rice. “I placed a pick up order and I ended up running behind and was not going to be getting there until after they had technically closed. The worker was very understanding and accommodating and allowed me to pick up my order even though they were officially closed. Seems like a small thing, but making an exception that makes the customer experience good even when he had no obligation to do so is very rare these days. Very good customer service and good food“

“Ordered to go, and everything was delicious. We had a crew so quite a big order of beef and broccoli, general tso chicken, kung pao chicken, vegetable mei fun, spare ribs, wonton soup, crab rangoons, chicken fried rice, and egg rolls. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the kung pao chicken and vegetable mei fun which were both very flavorful. I usually need to add soy sauce to mei fun, but not this one. The rangoons had the imitation crab meat in them, not just cream cheese. Definitely going to be my go to take out spot from now on.“

“This was my first time visiting China one in a very long time. Ran in to pick up a little bit for my wife and me. The selection was great along with the service. The fried rice combo was delicious and filling for two along with the spring rolls. I can walk to this place and can see myself ordering from there a lot.

“I have yet to find a Chinese takeout place to rival Chinese Kitchen. 100% without a doubt the BEST crab Rangoons I’ve ever had. Great lo mein and protein entrees too. The only thing I dislike is the fried rice, but they have so many other good things that I don’t even miss the rice. I graduated from LSU a couple years ago and still make the occasional 20+ minute commute to come here“

“Pretty good spot for to go orders. The location is in a small strip mall with several eateries. The lady taking orders was nice and friendly. My family ordered 3 meals. Honey chicken wings with shrimp fried rice. The wings were delicious and the rice was decent. The fried shrimp with Lomein. We didn’t care for the shrimp at all. They seemed like boxed breaded Sea Best shrimp. The Lomein was just okay. The buffalo wings and chicken fried rice. This was pretty good. We also tries the Philly egg rolls. These were really good! I’d definitely order the honey chicken and Philly egg rolls again! I also tried the lemonade! This was sweet just like I like it. The prices were decent. We paid less than $50.“

“I ordered food from Great Wall in Baker, LA, and the entire order was incorrect. I was also charged for eggs that I did not order, and I was told I should have a receipt. I specifically ordered Butterfly Shrimp, but I received something completely different.

This was my third time eating here, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I was very disappointed with the food, the accuracy of the order, and the overall service. In the future, I’ll choose to drive across town to Baton Rouge for a better experience.“

“We walked in and were met with a friendly hostess, who had a smile and really kind of brightened up our driving break.

The food came out quick. We didn’t realize it was an express because they have a nice seating area and we were happy to get freshly cooked delicious Japanese style dishes.

The restaurants seem new fresh monochromatic in color and decor with the simplicity that was relaxing and felt stylish.

The restrooms were especially clean, modern spacious, and overall the building felt very new.

Next time we come through these parts, we would definitely stop in for a lunch or dinner because the serving sizes were generous, and the food was very delicious .

The only suggestion I have is that the food tasted healthy and we appreciated the quick express. The only thing that we would change would be one thing..

The food served in Styrofoam take out boxes seem too cheap in the meal that was so tasty and so healthy.

Our recommendation for the food and for the planet find an alternative to Styrofoam.
