“My first time here at J.Alexander's. So worth the trip from Lafayette. My entire meal has been remarkable. I ordered the red wine blend Parradoxx, which had a slight Pinot Nior flavor to it. I ordered a house salad with Blue Cheese dressing which was rich and full of woodsy flavors. My salad was a big hit with me. Vegetables were crisp and served with beautiful presentation. I ordered the Filet with Berinaise sauce and baked potatoe. It was cooked so perfectly that it was truly a work of art. For dessert I got the chocolate cake. I am not usually a chocolate fan at all but this did not disappoint!! The rich cocoa blended perfectly with the vanilla ice cream. Now for the service... my waiter, Ali, was so good. His knowledge of the menu was very good, but his quiet professionalism was undeniable. He checked all the boxes as to dressings and preparation, but he additionally checked for how and when you wanted everything served. Ali, eyes were constantly scanning to be certain that my meal and needs were being met. Now, I don't know anything about Ali, except that he was young, but he could have been at home in the finest restaurants in Chicago! His attention to detail made my incredible lunch even more spectacular! An incredible meal, prepared exquisitely, with a waiter like Ali! Just absolutely perfect!“

“Went for a 4 po-boy takeout and a 5 piece wings . They were very helpful and called me before to verify an item and order was ready before I got there and service was great. Softshell poboy was perfectly cooked and delicious . The cochon de lait was fabulous and the buffalo chicken sandwich was excellent.

My two gripes for the 4 star were the wings were tiny and I like big wings if I'm gonna spend that much . Second gripe is if I spend $100 on an orderr and tip you could throw me a french fries in there as none of the poboys come witth fries.“

“This is one of my favorite steakhouses. I had the power lunch--or whatever it's called (petit filet & salad). I asked the server, Lauren, if the house salad is the chopped salad without shrimp. It is not, but she offered to substitute it if I wished. Since, it is one of my favorites, I did. it was delicious. My steak and my father's were cooked perfectly. It was his 86th birthday, and they, particularly Lauren, made him feel very special. This was a wonderful dining experience. I've noticed that a couple of other Ruth's Chris steakhouses have gone down in quality. This one has not. Still a fantastic steak and a fantastic dining experience with outstanding service and attention to detail.“

“Food was good - manager visited me which is a rarity in the Louisiana market for some reason- restaurant was very clean just dust in the ceiling vents- but my bartender was the highlight. I will go back just to sit and chat with Amber. As a regional manager for a restaurant group, I was impressed all around with her attentiveness that close to close. As a younger female no one ever speaks to me besides to take my order and she got to know me and made me feel welcome! She’s sweet as can be, I wish her all the best!“

“I don’t know if anyone reads anything from this site but I wanted to post a rave for the Baton Rouge location. My mom was transferred into hospice care on the day I ate at your restaurant. It was a horrible day until the nicest server/waitress I have ever had sat us down. She couldn’t have known what we were going through or how much she brightened our day. She was pregnant, I know that. Otherwise I don’t remember her name. One of those days I guess. She just had this light about her and when she smiled Everything seemed a little better. I think God put her there at that moment. Hopefully she will be there the next time we go. But if not I was posting this to tell her thankyou for being you. And good luck with your pregnancy. Cut me off. Made rude facial expressions and Slick comments. As a person in the restaurant business. I know some days aren’t the best. Inside or out side of work. But No one deserves to be treated a certain way because it’s a “bad day” . It hasn’t just been 1 time either. Also seemed like the other employees are used to her behavior. Love the food. “I absolutely love this tiny slice of fast and delicious Greek & Lebanese food!

It's quaint, efficient, and personable. What's even better is they really care about their customers and their preferences. I always ask for feta and garlic paste on my chicken schwarma wrap, along with removing the tomatoes and onions, and they deliver every time with a smile. I come here so often they've memorized my order and are usually making it as I walk up to the counter.

The lady who makes the garlic paste has also informed me if I call ahead that I can get a pint of the garlic paste because I love it so much (and pregnancy cravings! 😂)

Happy to be a customer of such a great group of people that care about their patrons and the quality of their food. I'm sure as long as this location exists, and I live nearby, I'll be coming here for years to come. ❤️“
