“Tyrone Joseph is an exceptional employee who demonstrates an unparalleled work ethic. Throughout my 38 years of experience, I have never encountered an individual with such dedication and commitment. Tyrone Joseph consistently exhibits a positive and welcoming demeanor, greeting every customer with a smile regardless of the restaurant's workload. His exceptional memory allows him to recall the preferences of frequent customers, such as myself, ensuring a seamless and personalized dining experience. For instance, during each of my visits, I consistently order the spicy chicken tender family meal with a request for freshly prepared tenders. Tyrone, the sole employee managing the front counter and lobby orders, efficiently handles my arrival by promptly requesting the fry cooks to prepare my spicy tenders, considerably reducing my waiting time. Despite any personal challenges Tyrone may be facing, he consistently maintains a professional demeanor, always greeting customers with a smile and a positive attitude. On one occasion, as Tyrone's shift concluded and he prepared to leave the premises after ordering his own dinner, he noticed an elderly gentleman struggling to use the kiosk machine to place an order. During my dining experience at the establishment, I observed an exemplary act of customer service performed by Tyrone. While waiting for my meal, I noticed Tyrone attentively assisting an elderly gentleman who was experiencing difficulty in placing his order. Despite having completed his shift and holding his own dinner that was gradually cooling down, Tyrone selflessly dedicated 15 minutes of his personal time to aid the elderly individual. His genuine concern for the customer's well-being, even without immediate compensation, reflects his exceptional character and dedication to providing outstanding service. Such commendable actions demonstrate Tyrone's potential for leadership and make him a prime candidate for the supervisory position at this location. It is imperative that we acknowledge and commend the outstanding contributions and exceptional performance of this remarkable individual within my community and the popeyes franchise.“

“We stumbled upon Gus’s after shopping at the outlets on Riverwalk. The reviews were strong and fried chicken sounded perfect for lunch. Their chicken is hands down the best fried chicken I’ve ever had at a restaurant! It was also a great price - and for those who have visited NOLA before, you know it can be a pricey city! You must try it!“

“SO JUICY! Consensus is this is the best fried chicken this group of 6 has ever had. The McHardy’s Bourbon sauce can’t be missed, and the Mango Habanero and Jerk sauces are also a must try. The fried okra was excellent. The staff were kind, attentive, helpful, and fab! Can’t wait to come back!! 11/10“

“Another night in NOLA which means it’s time to try a new food spot. Earlier today I was over on Canal and passed by Willie’s. The smell itself drew me in and I decided at that moment that I was coming back. LoL!!!! Willie’s sits right on the strip so it’s super easy to find. The front was totally open and there were a few tables outside on the sidewalk. As the strip is super active, sitting outside would be dope if you wanted to people watch. LoL. Walking up to the counter, each register had a cashier so the line was running smoothly. Taking a moment to review the menu, it was as one would anticipate; simple, straightforward, and one dimensional. The highlight of Willie’s definitely appears to be the Daiquiri’ as there are many options. I decided on the 3pc Cajun Tender Combo which comes with Fries and a Honey Biscuit. I also added a side of Red Beans and Rice. I mean, it is NOLA so I had to do it. I placed my order. Received my number. And took a seat to await my order. The restaurant was clean and vibrant. The yellow and red throughout the restaurant really set an upbeat tone that pairs well with the neon lights and vibrant colors of the Daiquiris. Once my order was ready, it was delivered to the table and I was good to go. Let’s talk the Food: Biscuit - Simple. Buttery. Crunchy around the bottom edges. Soft in the middle. Nothing special to note. Reminds me of a biscuit from Church’s. I’ll say 7/10. Tenders - Big. Juicy. Crunchy on the outside. Well seasoned. That’s it. That’s all I got. 😂😂😂😂😂😂. I’ll say 5/10. Fries - Well Seasoned. Crunchy. I’ll say 7/10. Red Beans and Rice - Now hear me out. I love a good RB&R and these were good. There were way more beans than there was rice, which is ideal for this kind of dish. They weren’t too spicy. They were flavored well and the beans were tender. You can definitely tell they were slow simmered. I’ll say 8/10. Now… hear me out! The food wasn’t bad but for $25.00, chileeeeeeeeeeee. No ma’am, No sir. Lemme go to the chicken spot for half the price. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I won’t maybe go again if I want a lil piece of a tender. But at $13 for the Combo and $8 for the RB&R… imma need a coupon or something. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Ok, Ok. In all seriousness, if you’re in the area, go for the experience. *P. S. For my Up North people, Willie’s puts me in the mindset of our “New York Fried Chicken” spots that be on the strip in the hood.“

“Chic Fil A strives to be a family place and it shows. The chicken is very good. Every member is the staff is kind and courteous. They even hold community events. They welcome groups. They have games for customers to play. There is s kids play area with play cash registers. I can't say enough good things about Chic Fil A in general, but this location is exemplary of what they strive to be!“

“Avoid the Canal st . Location. I got charged $16 for a “tackle box @ combo for adding a single extra srtip( so a total of 3 ,inch long strips, and literally 4 popcorn shrimp (advertised as 1/4 lb of them)!!! This is NOT supposed to be a kids meal, I don’t mind paying a little extra for a good meal. This wasn’t good, nor a Meal 👎👎👎 Sadly,it will follow everything other fast food chain on Canal(Wendy’s,B.K, both Mc Donald’s,etc,,,) at least there’s still a good Tattoo shop! Big East Tattoo Company!!! Safer than Bourbon st….Best traditional shop in town!“

“Me and my mom tried this place for the first time last week and the food was very good 🤤. I had the shrimp platter which came with jumbo shrimp and plenty of fries. My mama also had the same thing and we both enjoyed it. Prices are very reasonable so if you're looking for something affordable and good to eat I highly recommend Louie's Kitchen 💯“

“This place is alright. My only hang-up with this restaurant, "Chick-fil-A or Chicka-Flick (as i like to call it)," is that you'll never get enough fries. The container is never full. I get that the fries can be big slices, but couldn't they think to make it order the containers that hold the fries a bit bigger. Whenever I order the fries, I feel ripped off, and this is the only thing I really enjoy from this restaurant. Chicka-Flick, I'm gon need you to get it together with these fries; 3 to 5 slices with a few nips of broken off pieces of other fries in any size is not ever enough and unsatisfactory when one of your claims to fame is for customers to be satisfied.
Vegetarian options: The salads are made to order and you can specify no chicken or cheese.
Parking: The parking lot is a decent size.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are at least 3-5 handicap parking spaces with wheelchair room.“

I specifically had the shrimp and veggies with shrimp fried rice. It was SO GOOD. I'm already thinking of trying something else from here tonight, lol!“

“Some of the best chicken we tried in NOLA. Very reasonable prices, especially when ordering large portions. The atmosphere is not the most pleasant and while we were there we saw some other customers leaving after waiting to be served while the employees argued. But the food is worth the wait.“

“We were in there earlier today and my 3 year old started choking and your cashier Danielle P didn’t hesitate to jump in and help me. She picked my daughter and hit her on the back several times which, luckily, was all it took to clear her airway. I just was really appreciative and thought her workplace should know she was going above and beyond. Thank you, Danielle!“
