Well, about 10mins later I was sitting in the nail place n the subway worker walked in. She had went n bought forks n brought me one! That is what I call GREAT SERVICE! I dont know her name but she was the sweetest!“

“Under new ownership. Same menu, different faces. Tastes the same tbh but the service can use improvement. All the same equipment but a new, far more convenient point of sale card machine. The fountain drink machine needs to be calibrated, there waa way more soda water rather than syrup. All minor inconveniences that im sure will be remedied. I am hopeful these guys can live up to the legacy of the nice couple that ran this place as long as I can remember. I'll check back in a few months.“

“Philly Cheese steak poboy...with handcut fries...delicious. outside seating. ..nope, sitting at a table in the ditch along a very busy street with cars zooming past...nahhhh they have inside seat available but the worker at the register (owner?) told me inside seating wasn't open "this afternoon due to a large party coming in..." they never showed the whole time I ate outside over the dirty ditch. food great, I'll take mine ToGo next time unless inside is available.“

“I normally don’t write reviews but I have to give it when it’s due. I went to get breakfast today (2/1/2023) I was greeted very kindly. She paid attention to detail and neatly prepared my food. Also wrapped my sandwich in foil and sealed it so it would stay hot. I haven’t received preparation like this before . Thank you for starting off my day ‼️ 10/10 I recommend this location.“

“For those reading the comments on this, use my comment as a reference to judge this amazing place. I’ve both been a customer here and worked here for a period of time as well and I can say this much. The owner is one of the best people I’ve ever worked with as a boss. She doesn’t cut corners, she focuses more on high quality services and food, she’s always on top of her game, extremely hard working and efficient, knows how to run her business and what she wants. And she’s extremely fair to her employees, rewards and punishment come equally depending on your actions not her feelings. People also need to remember that not everything is the owner’s fault. There’s only so much control she can have over her employees and in that she does a decent job. The food quality is very high. She’s the kind of person that would rather throw out an entire pan of food if she sees the slightest sign of spoilage despite the loss rather than scoop the bad parts out to avoid making a loss. She doesn’t mind taking major losses if it means the customer gets good healthy food and is satisfied. We also need to remember that employees are still people not robots. A lot of them work double shifts. Some even open and close the store every week if they have to. She discourages it usually because like I said she’s fair and a very good boss and cares about her employees. But i also knew some co workers, I myself had to do it sometimes, who begged her for more hours because they badly needed the money. So imagine someone who has worked from the store opening, dealt with all kinds of customers good, bad, polite, rude, angry e.t.c. Didn’t even have lunch because she’s too busy serving customers and doing everything she’s meant to in the back. And then 5 - 10 minutes till her closing time when she’s cleaned the bathroom and other places and you walk in and say give me 3-5 footlong sandwiches. True she’s being paid to provide good service and should always provide it no matter what but again employees are not robots they are humans who have their own emotions. Especially for those who come in towards closing period within 10 minutes of closing. You need to be mentally prepared that the employee might not have had the best day and you might not get the best service especially with the time you’re coming in and that is not the owner’s fault. There’s only so much control she has over her employees and even when incidents like that happen, she deals with them so thoroughly that the employee will never want to repeat such a mistake. All in all, this is one of the best fast food places to go to in New Orleans. It ranks at the top in terms of hygiene, food quality, customer service and reliability.“

“Work across the street and grab a sandwich maybe twice a month and sometimes will run across the street for a quick cup of water. They are always kind and know how to make a sandwich. Clean, fast, and friendly. There’s two ladies who work there if you see one of em when you go in, game over 10/10 sandwich“

I asked her at least twice not to talk over my order, but then the other employee felt insured by my request and stated firmly that they had to communicate. Excuse me, but what communication needed to take place over my order, it wasn't a new employee and it wasn't about anything over my order so she should not have been talking while preparing my meal. And this lady was very short so her breath was just a foot over my meal while preparing. “Great subs. I like the way there is always a special on so you can get a deal. Being able to personalize your meal is so important! I love getting the chopped salad with jalapeños. My husband loves the meatball sub. My daughter adds egg and guacamole to everything. Subway gives everyone the opportunity to have exactly what they want and there is a great variety.“

“As a chain Subway is better than most other fast food joints. This one in particular though, was a great experience. The ladies behind the transparent wall o' sandwich stuff were friendly, funny, and fast at their job. The one who put the sandwiches together had me cracking up. “I really love this place,, I prefer this subway over any others in marrero. I go to this one probably once or twice a month, and I always get tuna fish, no bread and pickles on the side. (Yes I know,, it's crazy) but the crew there is amazing, always polite and in good mood. I went there today 08/20/2020, and as always,, great service. I'm not one to really write reviews, especially bad reviews, you have to really piss me off for me to write a bad review, and for good reviews,, you have to really impress me. I've never had a bad experience at this location, just never wrote a review. But had too today. I really appreciate the staff there, and want them to be recognized, no one in particular, (I'm bad at names) but all the staff. Took advantage of the BOGO deal, I got a Loaded Philly cheese steak IT WAS MADE TO PERFECTION / My other Sandwich was a go to. they dropped the ball but it wasn't a deal breaker just made for a EXTRA DRY SAMMI! IT WAS AN PEPPERONI PIZZA SUB EXTRA PEPPS...(but they forgot the most important part!!!) THE PIZZA SAUCE ????
Overall both Sandwiches were neat made with care.
I give this location a STRONG 3.8-5“
