Our tour guide was knowledgeable, personable and passionate about the entire history of the plantation manor. I would return to do the house tour again and allow more time to visit the museum as well.“

“Oh So Good! We spent the night in Donaldsonville on the way to a cruise in New Orleans. A good review led us to Tam's. We are so glad. We were skeptical when we drove up; no cars in the parking lot. But they were working on a stack of take-out orders. The inside is not very fancy, so most were getting orders to go as we did. The food was great! They have several Chinese entrees. But we got shrimp and catfish; comes with a bed of fried rice or fries. We also ordered small red beans and rice, and a small seafood gumbo. The small was about 16 ounces! Each of those was a meal itself. All the food was delicious and in very generous portions. A little ways (about 12 miles) off the interstate, but well worth the trip.“

“I ordered 4 dz boiled crabs and 8 lbs of boiled shrimp for out of town visiting family members. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The #2 crabs were all full the shrimp were very very large. It was so yummy. This place has greatly improved. I will definitely be back. Thanks so much!“
