“Stopped in for some amazing food with my brother and mom on a Thursday evening and I was craving catfish. Their catfish is breaded with a great seasoned flavor, crispy thick pieces and some thin ones too. The Catfish Atchafalaya is one of the best entrees when you are craving a savory seafood dish. The crawfish etouffee is the best in the parish. We ordered the jacked up crawfish dip with the fried pita chips that come out hot and fresh with crawfish in every bite! Creamy with a hint of spice that’s so satisfying. Try that with the fried eggplant and you will love it. For dessert the richest and best bread pudding with an amazing tasty rum sauce. Take it home with you, heat it up for about 10 seconds and you have that midnight southern snack that brings you back to your childhood. The atmosphere is relaxing and the southern rustic Louisiana feel makes you wanna sit back and just enjoy the goodness of the evening. Our waitress was Carmin and she was welcoming and offered great advice on every dish we asked about. Great service across the board. The prices ate so affordable for the amount of food served on an entree, even the appetizers. Everything about Louisiana Bayou Bistro is superb from the second you walk in. There was a holiday party in the next room and the atmosphere was never bothered. Been coming here for almost 20 something years and it just gets better and better. The fried shrimp is my favorite. All you can eat for the price is unbeatable. Best food and people across the bridge! I live in Florida and when I come home this is where I love to go. Ask for Carmin, she will welcome you with open arms. ~J“

The chicken is better than Popeye's Chicken Church's Chicken raising Cane's the bluestone chicken in the Golden Chicken Brown's Cafe have them all beat it's a must try so if you ever across the river you really need to stop in. I promise you you will not be disappointed and if you are I will give you your money back myself 🥰“

“The best seasoned crawfish I have had in Baton Rouge. It has an incredible salty and garlicky flavor. The Sammy’s Sauce is a MUST! We also go the Dubai chocolate strawberries and the mix was great, not too sweet or 2/3 chocolate like some places.“

“Awesome people and are willing to go the extra mile to make a customer happy. We picked up 15lbs of live crawfish at 12:30 in the afternoon and got home to clean them and prepare for a boil at 430. We noticed a few were dead and called and they let us know to wait and see if they wake up from being on ice. When we went to boil at 3 we noticed even more not moving and potentially dead. We brought them back and they kindly swapped it out for new crawfish. I appreciate them taking the time to show us a crawfish after being on ice and being kind to us and replacing them! Crawfish were amazing in size!“

“The workers were outside of Micheal’s today offering plates to promote their restaurant. Honestly, this was the BEST shrimp fried rice I’ve ever had, and I eat SFR a lot!! The chicken was crispy, juicy and flavorful as well! I’ll definitely be driving over to Fl Blvd to pay them a visit. Super nice people as well which is a huge one for me 😊“

So we visited every restaurant, and most of them, while nice, seemed very detached. One place, the cute taco place in the back, wanted to charge us $25 for bringing our own cake in! Crazy talk! But as soon as we walked into Drago's, we felt welcomed and like they actually wanted our business. Scott, the GM, went above and beyond to accommodate us. On the day of the dinner, the servers really had their stuff together and were all smiles. Just the sweetest people. We had Cat and Emory, and we loved them both. The food was delicious and came out quickly. I really can't say enough good things about the whole experienc,e except thank you for making my girl's day special!“

High quality steak, cooked right, seasoned well, and at a solid price. We had two cocktails each, an appetizer of tamales, which were awesome, two wedge salads, and shared a 2 lb porterhouse. She was a big’n.

Dinner also came with fried bread that was ridiculously good. The total bill was $175, which feels like it would be closer to $300 at most other steakhouses. The vibe was chill too. We sat near the bar and had a great time. Good wine selections and prices.
