“On our way back to Texas after a weekend in New Orleans we stopped at Don’s Seafood for lunch and couldn’t have had a better experience. Everything was perfect. Every employee we encountered was very friendly. Our server, Beth, was undoubtedly the best. She was super personable but genuine. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were spot on. The food was amazing. Truly the best Seafood we have ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and came out quickly. The icing one the cake, I have Celiacs Disease and there were several options to choose from. Cannot wait to have a reason to go back to Louisiana to stop at Don’s again.“

“I ordered 4 dz boiled crabs and 8 lbs of boiled shrimp for out of town visiting family members. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The #2 crabs were all full the shrimp were very very large. It was so yummy. This place has greatly improved. I will definitely be back. Thanks so much!“

“My husband and I along with our 14 month old grandson stopped in today for lunch. It was a spur of the moment decision, we were passing by and I said it had been awhile since we’d eaten Philay’s, so let’s go eat there before his doctors appointment. I am SO glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like family and were sat quickly. The ladies were so sweet to our grandson, talking about how cute he is and he was even given some fries to tide him over until the food got there. He’s a hungry growing boy for sure!! There was also an older couple seated next to us who were the nicest people. Our grandson LOVES food and lets it be known by how loud he NOM NOM NOM’s his food. He definitely kept them all entertained, they couldn’t get over how loud he was enjoying his French fries 😅😂 It will not be as long until we come back next time because of how welcoming everyone was today.
