“The food was very flavorful! Even the healthy items! We ordered the grilled fish with shrimp & veggies, and the fried snapper with fried shrimp and it was all SO tasty! Not heavy on the grease at all! The batter was light and crispy and not too salty (like other popular fast food seafood chains). Highly recommend! The hamburger with the grilled shrimp on it looked FIRE too! Will try that next time I’m in LA!“

“Went to Cork's for Mother's Day supper...YUM 😋! It was the best tasting, crispy, freshest fried seafood around! The fries were hot, crisp and awesome, too! Cork's is right up there with top notch restaurants, but at much less the cost. The staff was extremely friendly and the venue was neat.We will be back...OFTEN! ♥“

“Off The Hook in Denham Springs off South Range Ave was a pleasant experience. Their phrase fast Cajun is spot on. I ordered one of the platters plus a small order of crawfish etouffee. Price was a bit more expensive for fast food as I would have liked. But the satisfying quality made it worth it. The fried items were perfectly crispy. Hushpuppies were unexpectedly delicious. Etouffee was mild but still flavorful enough for the average customer. Inside of the restaurant was clean and comfortable. You will find different artwork pieces depicting Louisiana life in a colorful way as well as a description of Off The Hook. Cajun, jazz, and blues music plays in their speakers adding to the fast Cajun theme.
2 bathrooms with individual use instead of stalls. Both with changing stations which is absolutely wonderful to see. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Employees were friendly and helpful. There are dine in, take out, delivery, and drive thru options. I have eaten here many times as well as gotten take out for my family. My family have enjoyed everything we have bought here with no issues or complaints. Definitely recommend.“

“I love to eat here. The roast beef po-boy and shrimp plate are Great!! My favorite is the onion rings, they are delicious. Everything is good. I haven’t heard anyone complain about the food there. The staff are so friendly. I NEVER pass up a chance to eat at Shack 16 and I live south of I-12. Would definitely recommend Shack 16. 5 stars!!“

“The seafood boil style dishes were great. I think they are reasonably priced. We had the crawfish, crab, and shrimp as well as the obligatory cob corn and potatoes. The food was a little spicy for the little ones, but I thought it had great spice. I really enjoyed the Sammy sauce, a wonderful spicy garlic butter sauce. It went with everything IMO. There was no fried food available when we ordered which was a little disappointing. I thought the atmosphere was a bit rustic, but traditional for Louisiana I believe. I would come back“

“edit to update: i recommend loactions otger than this one.after talking to someone at corporate they acknowledged this manager and her development opportunities needs to be addressed. they did resolve the situation at the corporate level. We went there tonight for my daughters 16th birthday. there were 13 of us and we were fine with the 1 hour wait. There was an older man working there that stayed he could get us set in about 15. when he said something the the female manager about it, she told him NO that she already told us an hour. he was very he was visibly upset as we're supposed to be his table. We waited our time to be sat. the server came and took our order and when they came, she didn't remember who ordered what, (13 person party it happens). refill time on drinks count remember who was drinking what. none of our orders had their potatoes in them. they did bring us a plate of potatoes after we pointed it out. asked for silverware three times , it never came. so I minded my business and when it came time to pay, our drink orders were messed up and on each other's bills. I politely asked for the corporate number, telling her it was nothing against her , just the experience as a whole. she asked me what was wrong with the service. she went to get the manager, at this point I went outside. the manager came to the table very abruptly asked "what's the problem". when the tables explained she stated we got out potatoes. took one of the cash paying people and had the nerve to ask if they wanted their change. no apologies, no offers to do anything to amend any of the mistakes. and that's fine. it was the VERY NASTY demeanor she had when addressing the issues. WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN AND I SHOULDVE WAITED THE HOUR HALF AT SEIGEN. That one is where we usually go and ran way better. I half expect a nasty reply to this. Also they were supposed to give my 16 yr old some beignets, but those never got brought either. easily a $300+ 13top.“

“The workers were outside of Micheal’s today offering plates to promote their restaurant. Honestly, this was the BEST shrimp fried rice I’ve ever had, and I eat SFR a lot!! The chicken was crispy, juicy and flavorful as well! I’ll definitely be driving over to Fl Blvd to pay them a visit. Super nice people as well which is a huge one for me 😊“

“This place has never let me down. The potatoes are HUGE and make a couple meals for me. Their brownies are to die for and sandwiches excellent. But I am now back on low carb and tried the chef salad. OMG. Chock full of toppings and “good” lettuce, not the bad parts, and 2 big packs of dressing plus 2 packs of croutons. I always loved this place but this amazing salad might end up being 3 meals for me. It weighed a ton! If you haven’t tried this place, you are missing out. “Tom's Seafood has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. We used to come here when I was a kid, so it was great coming back to share that experience with my kids. We ordered the fried fish, fried shrimp, shrimp poboys', fried rice, and pecan candy. Everything was fresh, hot, and cooked just right, and the portions were generous. The only suggestion I'd make is that the food could use a little more seasoning to really make the flavors stand out. The wait wasn't long, and the staff kept things moving efficiently. It's always nice to visit a place that has stayed consistent over the years. Overall, we had a good experience and will definitely be back.“

My cousin ordered the boudin dip the grilled pork chop with greens and sweet potatoes, and bread pudding for dessert. The Crawfish fries were a little salty because the fries were heavily seasoned still it had a good taste. The boudin dip was unexpected. It didn't taste like boudin nor did it look like boudin. It kind of tasted like breakfast pork sausage in a dip. The pressed crawfish bread was phenomenal. Tasty and filled with crawfish it could have been toasted a little more but I wouldn't change a thing. My cousin's pork chop had a glaze but the pork chop itself was not seasoned the glaze kind of saved it. The sweet potatoes and Greens were good but I wouldn't order them on their own. We both enjoyed our desserts. The chocolate cake is gluten free but you would never tell the difference it was moist flavorful and sweet. The bread pudding had blueberries and pecans and a whiskey sauce on the side my cousin enjoyed it. I enjoyed this restaurant. Definitely would visit again to try the regular menu items.“

“We have been going to hot wok for over 10 years. My son and daughter in law visit from Virginia and always have to get a to go plate when they visit. The variety of dishes works well for my husband and I. I prefer to not eat so much fried food and he would definitely prefer everything fried. I would definitely recommend them when craving your Chinese food fix.“

The pasta with the crawfish tails in the Alfredo sauce was perfect. I’d actually recommend the same cheese sauce for the seafood potato , which was very good as well. The wings were cooked perfectly and the sweet chili sauce is finger licking good ! And the fish was very crispy and seasoned!“
