“I RARELY give 5 stars. It has to be stellar and this place was. The pizza was literally perfect. Even their homemade ranch is some of the BEST we’ve ever had. Decent prices. Great service. And the cocktails were great too. The only negative I saw was one of the employees kept grabbing their nose and that is just not cool. Also - Don’t skip on the blackberry gelato either.”

“Just recently purchased the 32oz box of Louisiana select frozen shrimp and fixed it for dinner for the family and my wife who has eaten shrimp from the east coast to the Gulf and is so picky about it was pleased with how good it was and even had seconds. I admit I was very surprised and actually had seconds myself. Great job!”

“Every year my husband and I travel all the way from Kentucky to Breaux bridge just for the crawfish festival. It is important to us that we immerse ourselves in the local flair including the dining. While we try new places every year the one we never deviate from is Buck & Johnny’s Zydeco Breakfast. We absolutely love everything about it. The environment, the food, the clientele, and most of all the music. Before I start let me preface this be saying that o come from a family who owned a restaurant for 24 years, so I have really high standards. First, no matter what, ALWAYS order the beignets!! They are just the best things ever! They are hot, and fresh! The breakfast menu is expansive and very cognizant of the culture that is southern Louisiana! Do yourself a favor and each order something different and share a little from everyone’s plate. You won’t be disappointed. Our waitress today was Deidre and she was on point. For the first time since 2017 they opened the event center side for overflow seating. She was the only waitress taking care of that side. Even though there were some unruly customers trying to make her life difficult, she prevailed and delivered outstanding service to that table as well. The only negative I can say is that in the past they had a signature Bloody Mary which was top shelf. They did not have that this year and it was greatly missed. I wound hope they would reincorporate that back into the menu. On a scale of 1-10. I give them an 8.5. Sincerely Angela and Todd Benton, Kentucky.”

“K.B’s provided our Holy Saturday crawfish this year. They even boiled them for us! We had 29 family members and everyone was very impressed with the size, ease of peeling and taste! Best boiled crawfish we have ever had, and that’s saying something! We will be back! Thanks Amy!”

“My husband and I travel to southern Louisiana the first weekend in May every year to partake in the crawfish festival. As a result, we like to dine at as many local establishments as possible and we always try to give an elaborate, detailed review. Let me preface this by saying I come from a family that owned a restaurant for 24 years and I have high standards. Since we come to town for crawfish, that is usually the first thing on the menu. It is not my favorite, but my husband loves it. So he ordered the crawfish(platter I think) which was a couple pounds with corn and potatoes. We were offered regular or spicy. Right here is where things get different. We eat a LOT of crawfish down here and we do our own crawfish boils. You can choose “spicy” and obtain that by leaving them in the pot for a few extra minutes to soak up the seasonings and they will be “spicy”. However, there are a few places that try to obtain the “spicy” by adding a powdered heat to it after they have been removed from the pot. If you like that way, that’s fine. We do not. We find that all it does is get all over your hands and face and really doesn’t add very much flavor to the meat at all. Each to their own. On the flip side. The crawfish were cooked and presented well and they were priced right. I had fried catfish. This too presented its own problems since it was brought on a basket, but I didn’t receive any napkins, a plate, or a fork. I did go and ask for them and received all of them. I realize that most people are ok to eat certain things with their hands, but I am a nurse by trade and I know what is lurking around on people’s hands. There will never be a day when I will eat anything with my hands. On the flip side. The catfish was phenomenal!! It was seasoned to perfection! Cooked exquisitely well and served hot! On a scale of 1-10. I’d give them a 7.5. It was good. The things they did good, they did really good.”
