“I used this restaurant to cater my department’s team meeting and they absolutely delivered in every aspect - delicious food, great service, and an overall wonderful, easy experience! This is hands down some of the best food I’ve had in this area and would recommend it to anyone for their catering and/or dining needs! Cannot wait to go back to try out the rest of their fantastic menu!“

“We had the most amazing dining experience we've had in awhile. Our server Antonio was knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu and attentive without hovering. We ordered bread for an appetizer along with the T-bone pork chops and Scallops with grits as the main course. Dessert was the Almond cake with honey ice cream. Everything came out with absolute perfection. Our drinks were never empty. We left full and blown away by the whole experience at Plates. Highly recommend!“

“Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired. Our waitress barely stopped by to check on us. The food was fantastic. The charbroiled oysters were plump and meaty. The gumbo and coleslaw were both very flavorful. And the fried fish dinner was also fantastic. Is the service was anywhere near the quality of the food I would recommend 100%.“

“By Far the best food we have eaten here in New Orleans so far!! Highly recommend! There were 6 of us and every one of us loved our plates. They have a variety to choose from and the portion sizes are huge! Not to mention the great service! The waiters and waitress are the best!!! If you’re here in New Orleans don’t miss out!!“

“The staff at Lula were wonderful! Went to look at the accommodations for a rehearsal dinner. The staff showed us the Barrel Room and explained the setup for the amount of guest expected. They are very accommodating for your needs. Lunch was delicious! Shrimp and grits and Fried pickled mirlitons with a poblano dipping sauce were a hit. Our server, Jalen was the best! Definitely a place to visit in NOLA.“

“0n a recommendation from our small haunted hotel we hit MRB for lunch. The catfish po boy was outstanding. Their drink specials were just right and reasonably priced. Two days later, we went back to try the alligator sandwich and some charbroiled oysters also spot Definitely would not call this a tourist trap. It’s like most of Nola, funky, functional and fun. Don’t confuse with Mr bs“

“I highly recommend the food. The staff on the other hand was very hostile and awkward. The bartender kept making comments about customers and when she took Togo orders would audible verbalize being upset about not getting tips. The entire encounter was awkward and uncomfortable. The female bartender with red hair kept making remarks about customers complaining on her. We had a prepaid visa gift card we wanted to use to pay and realized that hen we went to pay that we did not have cash. We were going to go get cash and bring it back to her. UNTIL she looked at the receipt and stated “wow thanks guys” rolled her eyes and gave me a dirty look. She was not attentive and I kept having to ask other staff for help but we still wanted to tip her something until she was so rude to us.“

“The seasoned red potatoes & butter in lieu of chips were a delicious surprise. I had the stuffed trout which was excellent. Service with a smile must be their motto, because that is what I got. Next trip I definitely want to check out the small pies for dessert.“

“My husband and I went on Friday night for dinner. Could not wait to try the new menu and it was simply awesome. To start with, our sever team was Isaac and Cheyanne and they were great. We never waited for anything. The Hot Crab Claws and Foie Gras Torte for appetizers were divine. I ordered the Duck Cassoulet and my husband had the visiting fish, Sea Bass over Yakamein. While the fish was excellent, the Duck ruled the table. Thanks to the Servers and Kitchen for a wonderful meal. We'll be back.“

“We had a party of 13. Our waiter, Ty, was amazing! Ordered the Crawfish Papusas for appetizers. Delish. Main dishes: Gumbo and Coconut Snapper and Waffles. Gumbo was bland per husband, who is a connoisseur and from Lousiana. The Coconut Snapper is served on tartar sauce which overwhelmed the taste of the fish for me. Still, it was tasty. The cornbread waffles with the crayfish sauce that came with the Snapper were amazing!!! I had the bottomless pineapple Mimosa cuz we went at Brunch...also very good. Staff was pleasant. Restaurant has a good vibe. Also mentioned that everything is fresh to order...no microwave in the kitchen. That's a plus cuz I can use a microwave at home. Missed taking pics cuz I was in the moment.“

“My wife and I have just had our tea at Nola Poboys I had a 12 inch poboy (Big Easy), hot roast beef, ham with all the trimmings & my wife had Debris fries without cheese. (She doesn’t like cheese) crazy I know. It was off the chain. Highly recommend Nola Poboys. Just do it! 😀“

“The Friday special was Trout alondine that had no almonds. The waiter brought out some raw almond slices to make it right. He tried. The fish was fresh, however. They also have a housefly problem.“

“I have passed Fives multiple times, been meaning to stop in and finally did on last night w| a friend who was visiting.
We stopped by on a Tuesday, that is of course a pretty slow day in the city so it was pretty dead. We sat on the cocktail bar side and we were greeted by a super nice bartender— I can’t remember her name, but she had loads of energy!! We ordered a few oysters and they were hands downs some of the best oysters I’ve tasted. My favorites were the Mon Louis, such a great, clean taste. My drinks were extremely good. I could have sat there all night stuffing my face a drinking.
I wasn’t aware that Fives is owned by the same people who own The Columns, makes sense because food and drinks are always perfection there as well.
Fives is located in Jackson Square, prime location for tourists as it is centrally located in the Quarter. The space is limited, If you are expecting a full blown out restaurant, this isn’t the location. Fives is truly a cocktail/oyster bar. I believe I saw a total of four tables in each corner w| four chairs to each table.
This will certainly become a new spot for me to hang.“

“Very laid back environment with really great food and service. Also probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! We ordered the whole fish and the croquettes too, so good. The fish had bones so it was definitely some work but it was simply cooked and had a lot of flavor. Centrally located so easy to get to and worth the visit“

“The most kind and attentive staff! We called ahead to see if it was hard to get a table of six and they told us it was not and to come on in. We showed up an hour later and they saved us a table. The food was authentic, fresh, hot and delicious. Our table had the lasagne, spaghetti and meatballs, Mr Ed’s special poboy and the stuffed seafood bell pepper. This was the most amazing food we’ve ever had. The hospitality was unmatched. Absolutely perfect! Come here for a good time, great food and exceptional service. Catherine was the most precious person and we wanted to take her to the Taylor Swift with us!“

“Antoine was a fantastic server ...polite, courteous, attentive, and extremely handsome. oh and the food was good too. I ordered the soup of the day which was the crab chowder - really decadent but not too rich. Dinner was a coffee rubbed filet cooked to perfection. I was dining alone but seated close to two different couples who did not know each other but struck up a conversation due to their proximity and I enjoyed their conversation as one couple was Swedish and the other was from AL but had Swedish roots. it was a really cool place to eat since I would call it fine dining but a comfortable feel. 10/10. Ask for Antoine.“

“My only regret is not finding this spot sooner! I'm in town a few times a month and just happened to drive by and stop today. First off the waitress (Mrs. Lisa) was amazing! Super friendly and sweet! drink never ran out before I had another sitting beside it. I ordered the fried craw claws and the swamp platter. It was all cooked fresh and came out very quick. Seasoning was on point! very large portions (no chance you're leaving hungry) This is the first restaurant in the area I give a 10 out of 10. let's face it most NOLA restaurants rush food in and out and season just enough to get by because of the tourists! I'll be seeing you again Mrs. Lisa! (side note her husband is also a Dolphins fan so make that 11 out of 10 stars)“
