“One of the few places in the area where you can still get authentic, fresh, delicious sushi. The prices have been rising due to inflation but it’s still worth it. Try the cooked dishes too, they’re great. It’s a small space, so call ahead if you have a large group.
The blonde lady there has an attitude problem and can be quite inhospitable towards guests.“

“Great hibachi restaurant with excellent, very flavorful hibachi, friendly service, and lots of seating. I ordered the filet mignon and chicken with rice, vegetables, mushroom soup, and salad. It was all really good. Wasn't very busy on a Monday evening around 7pm.“

“The pork belly was delicious and so was the snowcrab salad! The sushi was super fresh and I was amazed at the prices. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try! “The sushi here is some of the best I've had. The tea was awful, but the food itself was amazing. The house roll is one of the best things I've eaten, and I'm not usually a fan of cream cheese in my sushi rolls. The vegetables were fresh, the BBQ eel hot, and the flavors perfectly balanced.“

“I was recommended by a good friend and I don’t regret it. My favorite Hibachi restaurant is in the city and I truly didn’t tell like driving. This place is now my second favorite restaurant! Friendly staff very informative and she remembered that I love yum yum sauce from the first question I asked her. I’m very excited that I have found a new restaurant!“

“A day out with the kiddos, my eldest suggested Haiku and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The atmosphere was nice, waitress was extremely attentive, clean restrooms and we were able to enjoy a few parades literally blocks away. Definitely 5🌟“

“I have really high standards for Japanese food and this place exceeds my expectations. The price is really cheap even though the quality is as good as those high-end Japanese restaurants. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I am a tourist and I already came here several times during my visit to New Orleans. Please try it out 💗“

“Alright Hina Hut!! We ordered sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken. The sweet and sour sauce is awesome! There have been some positive changes since we last ordered from Hina Hut! Chicken was great! They are boiling seafood now. Crawfish, sausage and corn were seasoned well! We had a pick up order and then bought some of the boiled stuff too!“
