“My wife and daughter and I went to Luna's yesterday, as my wife grew up in Lake Charles and said that Luna's was THE local hangout when she was growing up. With good reason, I found out. The restaurant was a delight. The food was amazing (I had a fantastic hamburger and a really good salad), and the atmosphere made me smile (all around us, throwback posters and paintings from 80s music and 90s movies). Plus the wait staff was very friendly. If you're looking for a good restaurant to do dinner with family and friends, this is the place to go.”

Very helpful and I left feeling a little better than when I got there. . It was late at night so I’m sure management will know who I’m talking about if I got his name wrong. But great service I received the other night! However, I would like to mention that his coworker. I never caught her name. She wore glasses and was brown skinned. But I can’t help but scratch my head at this lady. She was incredibly rude towards everyone. Yes, the customers and even her coworker. She was being rude toward the guy and he didn’t even do anything to this chick. She was just carrying herself as if she demanded bro to obey her attitude. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone like that loses her job for the way she treats her coworkers. It was pretty rough. It was almost as if she was intentionally trying to overwhelm her coworker with the way she went about everything.”

Atmosphere is a tad out dated. But it is what it is. Still very nostalgic. I eat here all the time and one of my preferred Doordash and UberEats pick up spots!”

The cutie with the half white half black hair, mentioned that the owner’s favorite flavor was the one I ordered and I can see why! It was sooooo delicious I had to go back the next day for another one. I ordered one of the egg stacks which was awesome that they have keto/paleo options. It’s hard to come across places that offer a breakfast item that’s friendly to my dietary restrictions. I couldn’t help myself and also tried the BLT with brie and grapes, the next day and wow! I was happy to had use my cheat meal for that sandwich. They even spelled my name correctly which is uncommon. Very sweet owners and pleasant staff! Loved the trinket basket; leave one take one! Never seen that anywhere else either. Can’t forget to mention that it’s been over a month since I visited this place and the beautiful little spotted plant I bought has now grown 3 new leaves. It’s a spotted Begonia and pothos in one!”

The first bite took my right back to my grandmothers house when I was a little girl in California, sitting on the front porch eating her chicken sandwich and drinking iced tea. My husband never said a word, he just ate in onion bliss. The cookie was a delight, a sweet end to a lovely meal. The staff is so friendly you feel welcome and the few moments we waited for our to-go order was spent in pleasant conversation. Apparently it was a big day for first timers. I suspect we will all be back.”

“I have visited the pioneer club 4 times in the last year. Each visit was different but all were memorable. Valentine’s Day had a special menu, the steak I had was perfect. We also went for bingo and a brunch both were served buffet style. Brunch was nothing short of amazing. The food was top tier. From little quiche to eggs Benedict. Definitely worth stopping by and checking out! Check out the mild chicken korma if you want to venture into Indian food but are afraid of it being too spicy. Great place!!”

“We started our Labor Day vacation with breakfast at Johnny Sanchez's in L’Auberge, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, but what truly stood out was the service.
Trish provided phenomenal service—she was friendly, attentive, and a pleasure to talk to. She made us feel welcome and really added to the experience.

“We had a great experience dining here on 6/3/23. The dozen oysters on the half shell were very tasty. My husband had the catfish and commented on how it was the best he has had in a very long time. I had the burger and fries and it was absolutely delicious! Thanks for accommodating all my food allergies. It’s difficult but you all really tried and I appreciate it very much. Finally, we had great service from Brook and enjoyed eating on the patio. Keep up the great work. Food service is a grueling job but you all did it so effortlessly!”

“We came here for a quick snack and drink while visiting the casino. Ethan was our server, and he ended up being one of the highlights of the evening. He was attentive and very friendly. Loved his vibe and presence. \n\nWe got the queso with spicy beef for the app and it was delicious. We also had the beef quesadillas, super fatty but still decent. We ordered 2 Perfect Patron margaritas, but they brought out a Patron flight. Its huge! 4 bottles on a very heavy metal stand and beautifully presented. We decided to keep the flight and it was the other highlight of the night. Each flavor was great, and we were so glad they slipped up because we would have never ordered this on our own. It was about the price of 4 drinks, and that was what we had planned for so no harm there.\n\nBrandi from management did come and acknowledge the mistake, and we appreciated that. \n\nFood 3\nDrinks 5\nEthan 5\n”

“My wife and daughter and I went to Luna's yesterday, as my wife grew up in Lake Charles and said that Luna's was THE local hangout when she was growing up. With good reason, I found out. The restaurant was a delight. The food was amazing (I had a fantastic hamburger and a really good salad), and the atmosphere made me smile (all around us, throwback posters and paintings from 80s music and 90s movies). Plus the wait staff was very friendly. If you're looking for a good restaurant to do dinner with family and friends, this is the place to go.”

“OMG!!! Tried Shuga Mama’s for the first time and lawddddd have mercy!!! I ordered the beef tacos, chili cheese fries and banana pudding funnel cake. The serving sizes are for sure for two people. Everything was made to order hot and fresh, the lid on the funnel cake couldn’t close it was so big. I was hollering at the end of the road when I tasted the funnel cake🤣Everything was very flavorful!! 1,000/1,000 go show some love cause she definitely doing her thing.”

“5 stars all the way! I went in on a day when the restaurant was out of crabs, and I was initially disappointed. Still, I wanted to support the establishment, so I ordered a side of oxtails. Baby… those oxtails were so good I almost finished them in the car. They were perfectly tender, the sauce was incredible, and the flavor was spot on. I will definitely be back for the crabs.”
