“This was an amazing find. I was initially looking for a buffet but this is more an a La carte type of restaurant. The portion size was plenty as it could have fed three if not four people depending on your portion. Food came out quickly and food temperature. Even though they were closing within thirty to 49 minutes of me arriving they still served me and was excellent. Highly recommended for a person from out of town.

Chicken was great! They are boiling seafood now. Crawfish, sausage and corn were seasoned well! We had a pick up order and then bought some of the boiled stuff too!“

“Stumbled upon this place while running errands with my partner. Everything was delightful. Don’t be dissuaded by the outside in its slight ambiguity. Inside is clean and well lit. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly. The two ladies that took our orders were adorably nice. The chef, Kevin (who I figured out his name because when two other people came in they said hi to him by name enthusiastically) was so sweet. He made sure to triple check on some dietary restrictions for my boyfriend. He was incredibly detailed when I asked him about the dish I was enjoying. We had never had Cantonese food before, and it is fantastic. The worst part was just now when I finished my leftovers at home, because the dish is no longer in front of me to enjoy. “Not to give away any secrets, but this has to be the best Chinese place in the city for take out. Big portions. Real sauces, not just variations of the sweet red sauce (they have that too). I ordered a snack from here many years ago and was so shocked at the amount of meat in my fried wontons and the quality of the portions...I thought it was a fluke. Nope. I just got food from here last week and it was exactly the same! I've only had this quality one other time in my life from a Chinese place, and it was a sit down/dine in restaurant.
This place is super tiny, but the lady at the counter is on top of things and very nice. You will be just as shocked as I was that such good food came out of this tiny spot in a sketchy area.

The space is small so we have never sat there and eaten but whether my husband or I go by for pickup or to place an order, it’s all done fast and we never have to wait long. They even do big orders. I usually run a quick errand and swing by to pick it up. Their “small,” which honestly looks like a large, is only $10 and can feed two people for their fried rice. I always stop by when I’m visiting New Orleans. This is our go-to spot to support a small business. The owner, a small and sweet lady, will even come out to check on you. Not sure what others are talking about the condiments, they are always on the counter, free, as many as you want. Every sauce they have and no they do not charge for condiments and they are friendly, professional, and the prices are very good for the amount of food you get. It was delicious and already have plans to go back tomorrow night. Ordered online and it was ready before 10 minutes piping hot.“

I’ve been coming to this place my whole life, and I just wanted to leave a truly heartfelt review. The food has always been amazing, but I want to share something personal.

Some time ago, my dad became very sick due to his own health issues — not from the food here. During that time, he wouldn’t eat anything for weeks. One day, I brought home a plate of food from this restaurant, and as soon as he smelled it, he said, “That smells really good.” I told him I had plenty and offered him some. He finally decided to try it, and after the first bite, he said, “That’s the best Chinese food I’ve ever had.”

From that day on, my dad started eating again—this food gave him his appetite back. For the remaining weeks of his life, he ate from here almost every day. Because of this restaurant, he gained some strength back, and I truly believe that him eating again gave him more time with me.

Orange chicken w/veggies was great. Not super crispy as it came in Styrofoam, but still excellent tasting and breading stayed on the chicken. It also came with an eggroll thay was very tasty/crispy. Crab Rangoons were perfect. On a whim we also got bbq chicken wings and fries. The fries were a little soggy bc of the styrofoam packaging but that was to be expected. The wings however... omg so good! Still crispy and flavor was on point. Great bbq sauce, nothing like your standard store bought flavor. Good prices, HUGE portions.

They offer tofu dishes and let me change the sauce for variety. Delivery fee is very affordable, always arrives promptly, and they're good about following delivery instructions. I've never been disappointed, it's my go-to spot in mid city. The general tso and orange sauce is on point!

We picked up our order gave them a 50 dollar bill to include a tip and we did not receive the fried dumplings. The rest of the food was good and made to order, but don’t say you’re going to get an order of fried dumplings for free with orders of 35.00 or more if they aren’t going to honor that.
