“Black owned coffee shop in NOLA. So while in Nola we wanted to get coffee and remembered this place. They have a variety of coffee, teas, and pastries to choose from. I got the vanilla matcha and it was pretty good. It was my first time having it and it was different but still good. My friend got a lavender lemonade and she said that was really good. They have different vendors there selling a variety of things and it was a charcuterie board/cup vender I got that and it was really good treat with my drink. The owner was really nice and friendly. And the vibe was vibing. They had a dj. And they had the bops playing. If you in Nola definitely check them out,“

Eclectic crowd, packed liked sardines; barista’s look like extras from a Nirvana video. You’re as likely to find a vintage clothing sale outside as you are a chess game, or neighborhood denizens passing a joint around on the stoops outside. Excellent pours. The coffee never disappoints, but the ambiance makes the place.“

“I’ve been a customer here since they opened their doors in Chalmette. You get way more for your money. The drinks are amazing! The mocha chiller with an extra shot and chocolate drizzle is my go to! My kids love the milkshakes, the iced chai is delicious, the 7 energy’s are super refreshing. They have endless delicious combinations of flavors, including sugar free!!! They also have a secret menu that you can find and order from. They have free swag all the time, and not cheap crappy stuff either. Coasters, brewsies, t-shirts, free drinks, & stickers! “I got drip coffee ☕ and a mushroom cheese empanada. Dave got the yellow curry empanada 🥟. Both were very good. Baristas were helpful and polite. We met the owner, very welcoming.“

“Grow up with randazzo's baked goods. Happened to be in St Bernard parish and could not resist stopping by to get my fix on my way back out of town.

They have a chewy macaroon type cookie both in chocolate and anise flavor which is my all-time favorite. Of course I also had to get some of their cake chocolate iced donuts as well. Nona randazzo's bakery goods are not cheap by any means, but that's true for all private bakeries. Nona randazzo's goods are as good or better than any other bakery in the New Orleans area.“

I got the bananas foster iced latte. Maybe I don’t know how to order here as it was my first time but a large isn’t very large here. It was a delicious drink though.

Got the beignets- they were good but just reheated in the convection oven.

All the breakfast sandwiches come in premade and are just heated up in that oven too. Like starbees, probably still good but just something I noticed.

Got a chocolate chip cookie - it tasted old and was hard. I think all the pastry and cookies come in premade also.

“OMG!!! I came to this place on a whim this morning. This is the best food I have had from a cafe joint in a very long time. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese with a Salad and it was DIVINE! Well cooked, nicely seasoned. A pleasant Saturday surprised. I highly recommend this small cafe on St. Claude, located a block from Fredrick Douglass High School. Oh, and the vibes are heavenly.

Parking: It was a Saturday at lunch time. Plenty parking, no problem.“

Doesn't take too long for the order to be ready. Limited parking spots but there isn't usually a big line or anything so it should be fine. “What a lovely and random find! We decided to stop in while exploring and running errands. The name reflects the food and the welcome. It certainly is a place to find a bit of Mana from heaven, elevating your mood and day. The owner and chef is an authentically, welcoming, light filled person.

We had the fresh juice (strawberry and orange) and the waffles with blue berries, eggs with onions and turkey sausage. Everything was phenomenal and just the right portions! The eggs were perfect! The portions were just right so you are satisfied but not over stuffed. Everything was fresh and you could taste it and your body feels it. Berries and fruit. I did not even need syrup. The hot butter was the perfect addition.

I wholeheartedly recommend Mana Bakery Cafe. It really must be made with love, as she said.“
