“We had a party of 20. We can be alot with our individual likes and needs, but our waitress, Tasha, did an AMAZING job. There weren't many people there when we got there due to the work the city is doing. Now we did make a reservation for 6 when I saw they were able to say people again, but about the time half of us got our food more people started coming in. Due to a large group that came in at 4:30, space was getting tight. No worries - they made room, found a table, and people were able to sit at the bar. Due to the work the city had been doing, they weren't heavily staffed. HOWEVER, Tasha handled it absolutely wonderfully. Will I go back? HECK YEA!!! EDITED TO ADD: Kitchen did a GREAT job, too!!!“

I was shocked that the young black men taking the order was completely unaware of the multi billion dollar effort to improve customer satisfaction with a NEW Whopper, kitchen and building enhancements and more.

This location sorely needs a top to bottom refurbishment especially the dining area.

And replace the entire staff. The virtually all black crew is surly and seem unhappy to be there. Maybe a pay raise tied to customer interaction, but they are the weak link to success.

The fries were HOT and crisp.

“Good food, good service. Never been unhappy here. I visit Monroe, LA monthly to attend meetings. I eat at Portico 6-8 times a year when in town. A special treat there is their chicken and sausage gumbo. Another special dish is their red beans and rice serving. They can handle large parties and they have an excellent bar. Prices are good, too.“
