Our server Louis was incredibly charming and attentive, giving us excellent menu choices —as it was a hard decision. Every dish was a work of art—both in presentation and flavor. The whole experience was top-notch, and we can’t wait to come back!“

I ordered the crab cakes with poached eggs on top. I will never eat a crab cake anywhere BUT here. Their food was delectable and by far the BEST food I’ve had while in NOLA. Our server gave great free entertainment advice for us tourists and was highly attentive. All this to say, don’t come to NOLA & miss out on Elizabeth’s. They are a MUST experience.“

“What an amazing, thoughtful, and tasteful experience at Etoile! Kat, the bartender was so charming and informative of the new tasting menu that is happening starting today! Get yourself over there for a cocktail and small plates. Everything is farm-to-table, locally-made or in-house. The cheeses were incredible that are made in house. The passionfruit sour cocktail was divine.

There is even a lovely local cat with a cute bowtie that matches the interior that comes around outside.

“Oysters and pita/crab dip were delicious! Service was a little rough. My husband got his oysters before I got my meal- he had that and his drink finished before I received my food. We tried to be patient because they were somewhat busy, but watched our server take off her apron and leave before ever coming back to our table after drop off. We had 2 other waiters and what looked like management walk by several times, and even though I tried to get their attention, never looked our way or stopped. Finally made eye contact with a gal working closer to the front who came over and was very sweet, apologizing as our waitress had just quit. She brought out my food that'd been sitting there for quite a while, so the muffalettas weren't great, coleslaw warm. She never came back or reassigned someone to us, no one checked on us for drink refills, etc. Had to flag her down to place another food and drink order, again because no one else was helping us. After that, zero service, no one stopped at our table to check on us, and nothing 'taken care of' for the mishap. We came at a time where we were able to see the end of one band and start of a new- both fantastic, so that was good. Would recommend based on food and music, maybe not so much service.“

“Sooo good! We went on a Saturday and I had the pot roast with rice, green beans, and Mac and cheese. As a Mac and cheese lover I wouldn’t really recommend it here but the pot roast was so tender and the sauce it was in was delicious! My man had the red beans and rice with the fried chicken and that was also amazing! The fried chicken was actually wings and they were so crispy and delicious!! Overall must try!!!!!“

The service was so nice and so friendly everything came out pretty quickly and I could not have asked for anything better in Louisiana! I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants around here and this one is the best! There was literally nothing left after we got a half of a chicken! Going into it we weren't sure what to expect but let me tell you.... they were unbelievably good!!! All of us had the Fried Green Tomato BLT on Jalapeno Cornbread Toast.... more perfection! Side dishes were Gumbo and Sweet Potato Crumble.....yep, perfection! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and absolutely spotless. The staff were exceptional and very attentive. The prices were extremely reasonable and I guarantee you won't find better food at an expensive high end restaurant. Be sure to check this place out. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“My bestie and I visited Monday during Essence Fest Weekend and had the best server Centorrey. She was very attentive and honest from the time we sat down til the time we departed. Her customer service was A+++ Centorrey made coming to this restaurant a joy that I had to see her manager personally and verbally tell him what an amazing job she did. Thank you so much Centorrey and Hadji (Manager) for a great experience. The food and drinks were on point as well just removed those little airplane fans because that do nothing for that NOLA heat. I had the Red Beans and Rice with Sausage and the Greens. Unbelievable! The Greens were incredible. Sweet and savory at once.

My daughter had the smoked wings. Excellent! The Green beans and Mac & cheese were awesome.

My wife had the fried chicken breast with creamed mashed potatoes. So good!

“We visit this restaurant every time we come to New Orleans. The owner is so sweet and kind and the service as usual is excellent. While here this time the owner was having the bar tender to make different drinks and she kept bring over drinks for us to try, I am not talking about little shot glasses but regular drink classes. To say I wasn’t feeling any pain is an understatement. I highly recommend that you check out this restaurant, I promise you want be sorry.“
