“The next time you’re in NO, make a reservation at August! You’ll thank us, I promise. 🤤 FIVE STAR REVIEW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The meal started out with a “gift from the chef.” A savory leek custard, topped with pumpkin mousse and a sprinkle of sweet & salty crunch, presented in a perfectly carved eggshell. We were given spoon bread as well, which was the lightest, airiest and creamiest corn muffin ever to cross my lips. The sommelier told us that the secret ingredient was sour cream. I guess the secret is out now! 😉 Our sommelier suggested Pinot Noir. Monty chose Belle Glos Las Alturas. Let’s just say that we started shopping for it online immediately after the first taste. It has a fuller body than a typical Pinot Noir, so smooth and juicy. Such a perfect pairing. 🤌🏼 Monty had the pecan-smoked venison tartare with celery root and mountain rose apple. The flavors and textures were out of this world! We combined a few bites of the tartare with a bit of spoon bread. Omg, I’ll say it again: Out. Of. This. World. 💥 I ordered the gnocchi "black and blue" with black truffles, jumbo lump crab and parmesan. Tender, yet slightly firm, with a delicate, pillowy texture, but the truffle took it to a whole ‘nuther level! They gnocchi’d it out of the park with this one. For dinner we shared duck three ways with Bayou Cora grits, foie gras, confit, chestnut mushrooms and cherry bounce. Y’all, I’ve had foie gras, but never before like this. An intensely flavorful silky texture that literally bursts on your tongue. It was absolutely divine. Dessert was hummingbird cake with creole cheesecake, bruleed banana and pineapple ice cream. I just don’t know what to say except the pastry chef knows exactly what she is doing!! This was definitely meal to remember with the love of my life, my favorite dining companion, and my partner in culinary escapades. I love our journey of flavorful adventures, seasoned with spice and a love that mirrors the diversity of a well-crafted menu. “My husband and I went on Friday night for dinner. Could not wait to try the new menu and it was simply awesome. To start with, our sever team was Isaac and Cheyanne and they were great. We never waited for anything. The Hot Crab Claws and Foie Gras Torte for appetizers were divine. I ordered the Duck Cassoulet and my husband had the visiting fish, Sea Bass over Yakamein. While the fish was excellent, the Duck ruled the table. Thanks to the Servers and Kitchen for a wonderful meal. We'll be back.“

“We stumbled upon this little gem on our way to the river and loved it so much that we came back again the next day before leaving town. Truly the best bagels we’ve ever had!
There are so many vegan options, including flavored cream cheeses which all come in vegan and regular versions. The vegan bacon, egg, and cheese bagel alone would be reason enough for us to come back to New Orleans.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, with a really great vibe overall. Plus, the coffee counter inside is phenomenal. Small Mart Cafe is a must-visit in NOLA!“

“Headed to New Orleans in July, and Sweet Vegan Soul Food will be my first stop after leaving the airport. This will be my third visit to this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious! The facility is clean and the staff is so friendly. When traveling I’m always excited to locate a tasty vegan restaurant and this place is my spot when in New Orleans! “We had the most amazing time at Cane & Table. Our group was there to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. The service was amazing and we made fast friends with Kate (our server) and Sam. Every single thing we ordered was better than the next (we ordered pretty much every thing on the menu). The drinks were the best we’ve had, especially the Paloma Thank you for a wonderful night. “My sister and niece came and visit from Germany. We booked the VIP Balcony for Mardi Gras. Food and drinks included. We had an amazing experience. Food was amazing, the staff were wonderful and the owner was top notch. I truly can recommend to book the VIP Balcony for Mardi Gras with Daisy Dukes Restaurant.“

“A classic New Orleans stop for a reason. Yes, it gets busy, but the line moves and the experience is worth it. The oysters were fresh and flavorful, and overall the food delivered on that classic New Orleans seafood experience. The energy inside is lively and fun, which adds to it. We particularly love the raw oysters and grilled oysters. The Fried fish, potato salad and even coleslaw we’re actually pretty good as well It’s definitely more on the touristy side, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re visiting — a staple that lives up to the hype.“

“One of the best meals I’ve had in New Orleans was at Toups! We had a charcuterie board with their house made hogs head cheese, chicken liver mousse and foie gras accompanied by house pickles. Simply incredible!! The hogs head cheese was the best I’ve ever had! I especially loved the chunkiness of it with nice pieces of tender pork! The crispy turkey necks! Oh my goodness… AMAZING! The braised lamb neck entree was exquisite with a generous portion and crispy spaetzle! Even leftover, it was great!! I also had their pork chop and applesauce cocktail which was creative and also delicious!! I highly recommend this restaurant! Great work Chef Isaac and team!“

“I drove AT NIGHT. WITH AN ASTIGMATISM. all the way from DA PARISH to THE CITY for this bread pudding. Took a wrong turn down a one-way like a true local menace, didn’t even put my dentures in, and would absolutely do it again because this bread pudding had me seeing God, my ancestors, and Louis Armstrong all at once. Soft. Sweet. Soaked just right. Illegal in at least three states. Now let’s talk about the REAL MVP: the waitress/bartender with the cute lipstick. Ma’am was serving looks, vibes, and hospitality like she was born behind that bar during Jazz Fest. Sweet as pralines, sharp as a Saints comeback, and made the whole place feel like your favorite cousin’s house—if your cousin knew how to pour a drink and flirt professionally. I am currently eating this bread pudding right next to the establishment like a raccoon with a treasure, specifically to keep my husband from getting a bite. He had 45 whole minutes to get out of bed, put on clothes, and drive me here before closing—and chose violence (sleep). That’s on him. I chose dessert. 10/10. Worth the drive, the risk, the one-way street, the bare gums, and the marital pettiness. New Orleans at its finest.“
