“Not really sure where to start, so I'll say thank God for Lester and Dale. Decided to visit this little place on a ride to nowhere. Walked in and immediately greeted with smiling, willing to help faces. I took my seat and ordered the whole, 11in poboy with a small onion ring and sweet tea. Everything was cooked fresh and amazing. They definitely brought the 9th ward to Picayune, MS. They have an ALL YOU CAN EAT special on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of shrimp, fries, hushpuppies and coleslaw for $14.99. I will definitely be back for that but I also want to try the whitebeans and shrimp with fish on the side. Either way you cut it, I Definitely will be back and highly recommend everyone to try this little gem.“

“As a group of friends,we patronize Kellie’s frequently. The food is great,especially the po-boy sandwiches. Today I switched to shrimp salad on a bed of lettuce and sweet potato fries. They have a nice variety of foods and desserts. I think my favorite is a shrimp po-boy dressed or even on a bun. Plenty of choices and fresh tasting food.“

“We stopped at Southside Café after a high school football scrimmage, for a quick supper. We had the brisket burgers. The ingredients and preparation were top notch. The fries were nice and crispy. Really an excellent experience all around, including the excellent service at 8:30 PM on a Thursday night. Too bad I live 80 minutes away, but now I know and will make a point to visit when I'm in the Slidell area again. 10/10 would recommend.“

We had guests from across the country and everyone raved about the food, the kindness of the staff, and the beauty of the venue itself. The food was outstanding and everyone was remarking on their favorite dish and how tasty it was. As this was a party of 27, we had a beautiful room which opened onto the deck and it was expertly set for our party.
