“The negative: Parking lot was small; had a difficult time getting my truck out after someone parked near me while I was dining. Was also there 5 to 10 minutes before I had the waitress’s attention. The positive: Food was absolutely outstanding. Roux was perfect. Remoulade was close to world class; I’ve had it in 5 star restaurants in Vegas that wasn’t this good. Kind of food you travel a bit to get to. I’ll put up with the negatives if that’s indicative of the rest of their menu.“

“The food was very good. We did have to wait a while for the waitress to check on us and to get refills. Also the night we went there was only 3 people in the restraint besides the staff. They stood around the bar talking and conversating. One girls was actually doing things and working the others were just standing and talking.“

“I came here after running the Louisiana marathon so ordered a ton of food. The Korean tofu is the best tofu I’ve ever had in my life - a must-try if you like spicy food. Indonesian noodles were excellent. I got the lasagna to go and it looks beautiful. I was not expecting to find vegan lasagna in Baton Rouge! Staff is great and it’s a nice sit-down spot. Definitely recommend! Updated from previous review on 2026-01-19“

“My husband and I went last night for an early Valentines dinner. We loved the small, yet quaint dining room, the atmosphere was perfect, the playlist for the background music was on point, Zack was our waiter and he was top notch. The food was AMAZING!! It is my new favorite date night restaurant. The new owners are very friendly and they are hands on. 10/10“

“Cheba Hut is always hot, fresh, and delicious. The portions are pretty generous and they pile on the toppings. The atmosphere is fun if you are 4/20 friendly or even just like music and movies, etc. I would highly recommend giving Subway and Jimmy John's a break and trying Cheba Hut for a different experience. You won't be disappointed!“

“Mezitos Mexican Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care — everything we ordered was outstanding. The atmosphere is welcoming and the restaurant is clean and comfortable, which made the whole experience even better.
What truly made our visit exceptional was our server, Blake. He was wonderful — attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind. He made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed and really added to an already great meal.
Highly recommend Mezitos for both the food and the fantastic service. We’ll definitely be back!“

“So happy to find this place. We just moved here from Texas and was afraid I could find a good thai restaurant. I tried a few in Baton Rouge and this is the place. The food is flavorful and so good. Some plates are different than some I've tried but they are very good either way. I got hot level on my drunken noodle and it was spiiiicy. Love it though, I recommend mild so you can enjoy your food lol. I was just craving spicy so I took on the challenge and it was what I was expecting. The rice was so flavorful my wife and daughter loved bothering the rice and soup.“

“Outstanding in all aspects! We got to town a little late & stopped in just for a lite bite & drinks. The oysters, black and blue tips & wine were so wonderful we returned after business the next night to try more. Round 2 included the Feta Whipped Brussels, Creole French dip & Duck + Butter beans. “I love albasha.. I’ve tried two separate times to go to bluebonnets location. Food is great. Employees not so much. Today was the Second time a young lady named “Angelica” has gave me attitude . Cut me off. Made rude facial expressions and Slick comments. As a person in the restaurant business. I know some days aren’t the best. Inside or out side of work. But No one deserves to be treated a certain way because it’s a “bad day” . It hasn’t just been 1 time either. Also seemed like the other employees are used to her behavior. Love the food. Hate the service :)“
