“I live close by and have passed this place so many times on the way to work but never had the time to stop in until today cos I wanted a fun place to go to celebrate my birthday and I've never been one for the maddening crowd that goes along with the vibe that Bourbon St. has. This place is absolutely a great little gem for those who just want to relax and have a drink. “DIVINE! I had such a good time! Had a few cocktails and snacks while chilling out and resting tired feet after touring the AMAZING WWII Museum! I came up at 4:30 and stayed past 8:00 to get pictures of the fabulous sunset from the outdoor terrace. The only thing that took away from an otherwise perfect experience was a bunch of noisy unattended little rug rats running around, screeching like Banshees and disrupting adulat at a place kids should not even be allowed in! It's a wine and cocktail bar, not ChuckieCheeses! Ugh! I do not understand parents who so rudely disrupt a place and time for adult who do not want such obnoxious interrupting! It really is thoughtless and rude! I do wish the wait staff had told them no minors!

I even moved from one end of the terrace to the other to get away from the bratty daycare and they followed me! It was so disrespectful! Next time: these people need to spend a few of the MANY $$$$$ they spent on a babysitter! The certainly splurged on the drinks and food so they could afford it and there were several families and generations. Someone could have babysat or afforded a babysitter! 😡😡😡“

“Enjoyed Chickie Wah Wah in New Orleans for the 1st time during my day weekend in April while seeing the legendary Keith Frank & the Soileau Zydeco Band! There was a slight issue at the entrance regarding our 3rd-party tickets (only $25 btw!!) But the staff was understanding and accepted our email receipt then immediately permitted entry. It was a bit warmer than expected once the dancing started but I had a mini personal fan that helped to keep the party going! The staff were kind and opened the doors early for people to set up, the bartenders were patient with the children who were present, and contributed to the celebratory atmosphere. “Another Bar I have lived in New Orleans for 2 years now. I’m about to move to Houston. I came to New Orleans to start my life over and I had only a handful of people I knew in the city. When I came to karaoke with Blazen on Sunday Nights it truly saved my life. I was really struggling with feeling lonely in a new city. When I came to karaoke at Another Bar in Jan 2024 I truly found a home. I have always felt so welcome and Towner/ Blazen has put together a one of a kind experience in New Orleans on a Sunday Night. The talent that shows up on a Sunday night always blows me away. It’s really something special. Over the past 2 years I have only seen an increase in the number of people who come out ON A SUNDAY NIGHT- many who have work early the next morning, myself included. One of the first nights I came to Sunday karaoke, a drunk college student as a joke took my phone and keys. Blazen turned the lights up in the bar and everyone searched. Blazen made sure that I got my phone and my keys back. I felt like I was family. If anyone has anything negative to say about the staff at Another Bar I challenge them to show me the proof, because I have experienced nothing but love specifically because of Towner Hagen/Blazen Haven. I have told so many people to come to Another Bar because of Towner/Blazen Haven. If she went somewhere else, so would I. And I would tell everyone I knew to do the same.“
