“A really yummy spot for brunch! We had the chilaquiles and sweet and salty French toast, and both were amazing. The French toast was definitely more sweet than salty, but it had great orange flavor and wasn’t overly sweet so we really liked it. The service was quick and friendly. It was busy but not packed, so we were able to get in without a wait for Sunday brunch.“

“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.“

“So, last night I needed to have a business meeting with a business partner that wanted to stay out of downtown after working all day in the city. We chose Hangry Kitchen, just 6 minutes from downtown. So much that I could say about the meal. But I will summarize it. I asked if I could get a side of tomato juice for my beer. (Yeah beer and tomato juice is amazing). They did not have any canned or bottled tomato juice. THEY JUICED SOME TOMATOS! The rest of the meal was just as memorable. Check them out (in between food truck visits)!“

“Great atmosphere! And Christine our server was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. She checked on us consistently- thanks! I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! “Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“

“First time as was in town from Newport to see Little Jagged Pill at PPAC. Bartender (Tim?) was excellent friendly, knowledgeable on menu and made great handcrafted drinks. Manager (she moved here from NYC) was also excellent. I ordered the pork loin special, one of my friends ordered to porchetta over grits (I was a bit jealous as it was amazing. Overall a great experience.“

“I love Fili! I came here with family and friends and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was truly phenomenal! They have chefs from JWU and they made every single item we ordered scrumptious! Daniel was our server and he was an absolute delight! He was a great guide through the menu and was such a sweetheart! “I saw Honeybird on Phantom Gourmet a bit ago and living a state away I took note this is a must try. Fast forward to this weekend I suggested to my brother and others come here to kick off his bachelor party weekend and let me tell you this is THE SPOT!!! The wings and tenders were huge and the perfect balance of crispy and tender. Fries seasoned incredibly well. Get the honey bird sauce too. You won’t be disappointed. This absolutely was the perfect start for the night we needed to rally for. I can’t wait to come back. I’m looking at you to try crispy catfish sliders!“

It’s a small, intimate spot that’s always clean, with a friendly staff that makes the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. What really sets this place apart is the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chef. The bread is fresh from local bakeries, and everything tastes like it was carefully selected with real intention. I had the lamb special with Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, and a fig glaze, and it was outstanding. My wife had the sweet potato mascarpone ravioli topped with pancetta and garlic in a brown butter sauce, and it was unbelievable. Cucina 38 just gets it right. “They catered a family reunion at my home last weekend. My family is Gujarati and this restaurant just hit it out of the park!!! Every esoteric Gujarati dish was a hit. We did puri, patra, mango ras, pulao, kadhi. Just outstanding! My family was raving about the food. The service and Anil’s responsiveness was on point. This place is run by true professionals!!!“

We are so grateful for their hard work to deliver exquisite appetizers. Our guests enjoyed the food, and the beef empanadas were a hit! Shout out to Jessica and her team for their professionalism, support, and guidance to help us select top tier appetizers that absolutely pleased our guests and accomodated those with specific food allergies (i.e. gluten-free, vegan)“

“Had an incredible meal there last night! The buffalo chicken egg rolls, the Rogue Melt, and the lobster Mac & cheese. All amazing! I’m more of a vodka drinker but the beer selection was incredible and our waiter helped me pick the perfect wheat beer! 100% I’d go back (when in town). A definite 2 thumbs up!“

“Another day, another chance for more tacos with the RI Food Fight's TacoMania. This time we started with Diego's. As it was a Saturday, no tables were available from reservations but we were able to grab a seat at the bar. The space is open, dark. A blend of Mexican homage and industrial brick. An open kitchen gives you the chance to watch your meal be prepared in full view. Our bartender, Greer was super friendly and balanced attentiveness. She is detail oriented and was very accommodating. She quickly took care of our drinks and got our food order in ASAP. They offered a limited menu for TacoMania and I chose the carne option. It came out in a crunchy blue corn tortilla. After a squeeze of lime, I dug in. The crunch was everything you wanted it to be and more. The beef with queso fundido made this a slight messy but overall delicious taco. We got the cornbread souffle to share and it was outstanding. The souffle itself was savory and very corn forward, as opposed to the sweeter cornbread you see in the south. They add a touch of something sweet to balance it out. My friend had the shrimp chimichirri tacos and they said they were a 10/10. So glad to find another tasty spot in the TacoMania trail!“
