“I have lived in the Boston-esque area for twelve years and have eaten so many good meals, but the fish tacos here are the only meal I needed to have before my upcoming move out west(ern MA). Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. Bonus perks: Max & Chelsea have the best senses of humor, the murals on the patio are always amazing, the beer and wine selection are vast (also the mocktails!), and the decor always feels like your favorite “I Spy” book.“

“Medium Rare at Arsenal Yards is such a fun, hassle-free dining spot. Their fixed menu takes all the guesswork out of ordering, starting with fantastic fresh bread and a great salad before bringing out the main star: tender culotte steak topped with that addicting secret sauce and golden, crispy fries. Getting a warm second helping dropped right onto your plate mid-meal is a fantastic touch that makes the price feel like a steal. The atmosphere in the plaza is energetic and comfortable, and the service keeps the flow moving effortlessly from start to finish. Definitely a must-visit in Watertown for a top-tier steak frites fix.“

“After living in Los Angeles and San Francisco, the Concord Area (our new home) food scene was a shock. Then we found 80 Thoreau. It is a genuinely all in experience, big city quality without the drive. The creativity, the locally sourced ingredients, the way flavors get combined... YUM! Chef Gavin and his crew are doing incredible work and have such fun energy! It is also the only restaurant where my friend with a long list of allergies can eat well. Most places give her a menu back with everything crossed off. Here they build her something new every time, that is true mastery and deep care you can rarely find. A true gem.“

Only critique is they didn’t switch our plates after the appetizers😂 A little loud Friday night so brought earplugs. Recommend placing foam underneath the seats to quiet the loud noise when it’s busy.

“Such a beautiful space. Creative, cozy lighting in the high ceiling dining room (or enjoy fairy lights and climbing flowers all around outside on the patio). The menu is simple but with something for everyone. Dishes came promptly and were perfectly cooked and looked AMAZING as they arrived. The servers were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. A fantastic dinner! Highly recommend.“

“Simulators are legit and it feels like you are outside playing on the actually course you've selected. It's a nice vibe and a great bar to watch games or golf on and the pizza is amazing. (get the sweet heat, it wont disappoint) They also offer leagues and spots for parties/events. If you're looking for a spot to work on your game this winter, grab a beer and watch some sports I highly recommend Birdie Bar!“

“This is the second time in one week my friend and I have chosen this restaurant as our destination for food, drinks, and merriment and we were not disappointed.The staff is a delight, both times we were greeted with a warm smile and they were very knowledgeable recommending dishes and levels of spice. The naan bread is delicious and the appetizers and entrees we ordered were amazing as well bursting with so much flavor. The cocktails were crafted with precision and so much passion from the wonderful bartender. The live music is great! We definitely recommend Chulo restaurant and plan on returning again and again!“

“Excellent food, service and welcoming space! This was probably our 5th time eating at Condesa and it is consistent. Plenty of free garage parking. Greeted warmly, seated quickly in a buzzing atmosphere with nice decor. There's a bar, high tops, booths and tables by the windows. We've had Diego A. as our server multiple times and he is fabulous! Plenty of cocktails or beer to choose from - excellent margarita's btw. The food is delish - nice menu of options and if you have a question or special food requirement, it's not a problem at all. Very reasonably priced too. It's definately part of our restaurant rotation when we want a nice dining experience and terrific food. Kudos to the entire management and staff!“

“I give this restaurant 5 stars ⭐️ We actually came here to the Four points Sheraton hotel because my husband has doctors appointments nearby. The reason for the five stars is first the ambience of the restaurant was on point and comfortable not to pretentious . We were met by the hostess and she said we could sit wherever we wanted as it was a Monday evening (early ) We started with a Guinness for my husband and I wanted a red wine . The waitress recommended a wine that was very popular Valentines evening and I wanted a Malbec . She brought me a sampler of both and then decided to go with a Cabernet on the menu and thanked her for her recommendation. We started out with the wings that were cooked to perfection along with a mesquite bbq sauce . My husband and I both ordered the Bishop Burgers . He ordered it medium well with Swiss cheese and regular fries and I ordered mine medium with Cheddar and their specialty Rosemary fries which were heavenly . This restaurant is part of the restaurant but separate. It’s a well known restaurant in the neighboring city where all walks of life go to . Jeff the owner also came by to say hello and to make sue everything was to our satisfaction. A+ all around“

“I hadn't been to Sweet Basil in a while and my friend and I decided to give it a go. I had forgotten how beautiful the decor and ambiance was. We sat at the bar and were warmly greeted by the host as well as Caroline, our bartender. She made us two perfect martini's to the rim, and brought us out a complimentary dish from the chef which was fantastic (I think it was fried chickpea flour in the shape of a very think fry. They also brought us out complimentary bread and focaccia as well as home made pesto. We ordered the meatballs (the best I've ever had, and my wife is Sicilian). We then shared the Chicken Parm which had the most amazing chunky sauce packed with flavor along with homemade rigatoni! This by far was one of the best meals I've had in a while! Sweet Basil will now go in our rotation of weekly restaurants to visit.“

“3.8 rating is criminal...4.4 at least! Ordering both food and beverages is as soon as many other places, however, where do you know what time you get your drinks much quicker here than most. The beer selection is on point and the staff is always current on what's available or 86'd. Bonus it's great to show up here when there's a band playing next door.“

“The food quality is a bit inconsistent from day to day. Occasionally, it seems like they use ingredients that are below the usual standard—sometimes to the point where the food is barely enjoyable. As I mentioned, there can be quite a bit of variation.

That said, I'd say the food is consistent about 80% of the time and generally tastes good. For that reason, I'm giving the restaurant 4 stars overall—but the dan dan noodles deserve 5 stars. Again, there can be quite a bit of up and down.“
