I had the Ahi tuna meal and it was one of the best Ahi’s I’ve ever had my wife had the shrimp and scallop genovese and she loved it We will definitely be back great job by all and the service was also great“

We sat outside, had a beautiful view of the mountains, seating was quaint, and they had some soft music playing in the background. The food was not every-day fare, it was creative, delicious and perfect. I recommend the striped bass with sweet potato puree, and a sauce made from a plum wine. I paired with the strawberry rubarb wine..... every sip and every bite was perfect!“

Reservations are recommended and the place was full within the first hour of operation. It can be a little noisy, but that's to be expected for an restaurant that is as popular as Romaine's. “My wife and I are regulars at Kennedy's Pub, and we usually sit at the bar. Bartender Billy is as nice a guy as you can find, and he also makes a great martini. The food is consistently excellent, and their prime rib special as well as their clam chowder are the best in the world, and that is not an exaggeration. The atmosphere is cozy and down-to-earth. We feel very fortunate to live so close to such a wonderful neighborhood restaurant!“

We sat at their bar set up overlooking the grill. The gentle man next to us had these massive plates of food. I decided to order what they had. My dish came with steak and an additional option of protein. I asked for a recommendation and they suggested the shrimp. I'm not a huge shrimp fan but let me tell you these were fantastic! Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The steak was well seasoned and grilled Perfectly. It came with a very generous portion of sauted vegetables. Delicious rice, homefries and eggs sandwiched between 2 corn tortillas. Homemade gauc and some black beans on the side. I was given the option to try their homemade hot sauce! My wife got the chorizo enchiladas . Sooo good! Don't miss out on this place !. We will return!“

Appointment and I didn't have a breakfast, so I happen to spot this right around the corner, and I have to say, I've had the best onion, bagel sausage, egg and cheese, sandwich that I've had. In a long, long time and home fries were really good too. The staff was wicked friendly and I felt very comfortable in there.I would recommend it 😎👍“

“Had an amazing dinner there recently. Went on a weeknight and seated right away. Our server (forgive me if not correct) I believe was Stephanie. Very knowledgeable, kind, attentive. Knew every detail about the menu. Drinks and appetizers came quickly. Had chowder, which was excellent as well as a caprese. Also excellent. 4 dinners came out and every single one was a perfect size, cooked great and tasted delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough“

“We live near by and friends have been telling us to go here for pizza. We finally stopped in for dinner and we were glad we did. The waitress was so friendly. Her reccomendations were spot on. “We brought three generations to Special Teas to fulfill my mother’s wish to have tea with her daughters and granddaughter. It was a lovely way to spend a fall afternoon. The service was fantastic and staff were very attentive. The variety in teas allowed everyone in our group the opportunity to experience unique tea flavors. But for anyone unfamiliar, think of it as a Chili’s with a bit more dining space beyond the bar or an Outback without the grilled steaks.

The food is solid, with comforting options that cater to hearty appetites. I was curious about what sets 99 apart from similar chains like Applebee’s, and the answer I got was simple: “They think they’re better and charge more.” While neither is glaringly obvious, the menu does offer a few standout dishes, like the Shepherd’s Pie - a refreshing option compared to the usual burgers and fried food lineup.

Next time, I’ll try sitting at the bar - it looks like the kind of spot where this place really shines. For a casual, satisfying meal, 99 in Hudson is worth a visit.“
