“Burger was exactly as ordered. Not sloppy or dry, just a good burger on brioche. Saw many other tables get food that looked great too (e.g. prime rib, haddock, parmesan chicken, etc...) Service was prompt and friendly. I'll definitely be back to try some different dishes. Don't hesitate to come here for a great experience.“

“It had been a few weeks since they opened before I made my last visit. They employed the most incompetent staff both times I went. Things took a complete turn for the unexpected today! We were greeted by a very helpful and kind woman who took our order. The usual high-quality cuisine arrived promptly. Due to the nature of the task at hand, my guest and I remained there for over fifteen minutes with our laptops propped open. There was never any pressure or urgency to have us go. I didn't feel the need to bolt out the door because it wasn't very packed. Since I generally enjoy Panera eateries, I will be returning more frequently now. Fortunately, this one is right here in my town, so I'm pleased it lived up to my expectations.“

“My friend and I ended up staying at the bar after having reservations in the dining room. We are so happy we gave the bar a go. Tayla our bartender, was the best. We told her to surprise us.. she delivered. From apps, drinks, entrees, desserts ( Banana Dessert ) was great. We cant wait to come back to see Tayla. 5 stars“

“The food at 80 Thoreau is outstanding. Delicious and very well presented. Their wine be the glass has excellent choices and reasonably priced. The restaurant is broken into multiple rooms, which keeps things quite, though takes away from some of the energy. The small bar is beautifully decorated and would be a treat just for a cocktail. The one negative of our experience was the service. It was far from attentive and not particularly knowledgeable. Might have been bad luck and I do recommend going here.“

“Tonight was the best dining experience we have had in two years! The drinks were awesome, the food was piping hot and came out on the hot plates, even the last bite was hot! My daughter’s plate from the kids menu even looked delicious, and she enjoyed every bite. Most impressive was the service- Yanina was terrific, she was so happy the entire time, we never needed anything during our entire visit, she was one step ahead of us every time! “Two years ago I switched my allegiance from Haute Coffee in Concord, MA to Nibbana Cafe in Lowell. While the coffee at Haute is indeed very good (Counter Culture beans, not local), I find the staff there a bit impersonal. Seating is also quite limited. Nibbana has equally good coffee (if not better, which is really saying something), provided by Tiny Arms, a local roaster. There is plenty of seating and parking at their location at Western Avenue Studios. The coffee is generally light-to-medium roast and they offer an array of interesting, unusual coffee drinks (I only drink espresso, straight, so I can't comment on those). At the time of this review, they have been cranking out lots of new food items. The staff is extremely friendly, always offering a welcoming smile and an enthusiastic "Enjoy!" when I pick up my order. The owners truly live by what Buddhists call "right living". They are very community-focused, and it shows. If you haven't checked out Nibbana, you're really missing out on a special place.“

“My daughter in law’s lovely large Khmer family really wanted to go to this restaurant! We drove from Ny and the other family members flew in from CA and drove from CT. The food was fantastic and quite flavorful. We got a real smorgasbord of various dishes that we all enjoyed. My favorites were the Khmer chicken wings-outstanding crunch and flavor (I like them better than Buffalo wings), and my absolute favorite, lemongrass chicken. Every other dish was amazing, too. We certainly want to go back here!“

This dish consisted mostly of tomatoes and broccoli with tortellini and short rib being the after thought- there was also not much flavor to the dish. Our server was nice and quite fast!“
