“My husband took our 4 boys out for a father/son day, so I decided to take my daughter out for a late breakfast. We ended up at a restaurant that’s been on my radar for awhile, Roasted coffee bar in Haverhill (181 Groveland St).. and I’m so happy with our choice! It’s a small spot tucked in a residential area, parking at the restaurant is limited but plenty of on street parking. It’s bigger inside than I expected though, with several tables along with some comfy looking armchairs. Very cozy atmosphere with plants and other pretty decor. Spotlessly clean as well. They offer a variety of creative sandwiches, toasts, waffles, salads, and wraps along with all sorts of coffee and tea based drinks. I opted to “make my own” and I chose buttermilk fried chicken with bacon, pickles and whole grain mustard on a homemade biscuit. My daughter ordered one of their specialty sandwiches called “Spice Of Life” which is Buttermilk fried chicken, maple-sriracha syrup, cheddar cheese, bacon and house-made pickles.. she also got hers on a biscuit. Everything was absolutely delicious! We both agreed that these were the best biscuits we’ve ever gotten in any restaurant we’ve ever been to. Flaky and buttery.. they melt in your mouth.. I could eat a plate of those plain and be perfectly happy! But the chicken was also fantastic..juicy and tender, super crispy and flavorful crust. The bacon they use is excellent.. very smoky flavor. Their (House-made) pickles are a bit sweeter than standard pickles but still very good. These are hefty sandwiches too. They don’t skimp on portions at all. Prices are between $10.00 and $14.00 each which I feel is perfectly reasonable considering both the quality and the sheer amount of food they give you. For drinks I got an iced latte with skim milk and caramel, my daughter got an iced matcha latte with almond milk and vanilla syrup. Drinks were great, coffee had a nice robust fresh roasted flavor. My daughter said the quality of the matcha they use is very good. The staff was super friendly, and the service was quick. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Lots of ppl were coming in to get take out too (you can order online via “spot on” seamless, grubhub and Uber eats). They are open 7 days a week from 7am until 2pm. Great food, great staff, great restaurant! Highly recommend you give them a try!“

“shall i compare the northshore to a summers day, bright majestic and the eggs, sunny. I truly believe I have never tasted a sandwich so delicious in my entire life. As the title states, I crave this sandwich every second we are apart. The northshore sandwich has taught me things about myself that I once didn’t know. I have become a better person inside and out upon ingesting this glorious work of art. I will always be back for another bite. “How anyone could give this place a bad review makes no sense to me. You've probably already read from the other reviews that the staff is incredible, but truly -- they are. They are so kind and welcoming to every single person that comes in. Aside from that, the coffee is AMAZING! They have so many different flavors to choose from and you can customize any drink however you like (even if it's not on the menu). Also, the breakfast sandwiches... wow. Get 'The Stallion', just trust me. Prices are completely reasonable. Honestly, no other coffee place I've been to even compares. I'll be a longtime customer!“

“What can I say other than magical?! We were fortunate enough to host my son’s 11th birthday party in the back room (The kids loved the secret hidden entrance through the bookcase). Tons of great games for all ages and the food was fantastic! Literally everything we had was gourmet quality and up to my foodie 11 year-old’s standards. “The best bagels around and absolutely amazing cappuccino. The only reason for the 4 stars vs 5 on service is because the young girl I constantly get just doesn't seem to want to be there. Don't get me wrong service is fast, orders come out exactly how you ordered them. However, the counter staff taking your order should, at the very least, be pleasant.“

“Classic office cafe with some of the best service I've experienced anywhere. I used to work across the street and made it a point to come over almost every afternoon for the excellent offerings and the awesome service.

Variety of options available and almost anything not on the hot line can be customized to your liking. Be sure to ask if you arent sure, and someone will definitely do their best to help or accommodate your needs. Caesar wrap and BBQ Chicken Bacon Ranch wraps were my go to and, when they have them, the sweet potato fries are top notch.
