The NY Sirloin, and the tenderness of the Fille Minog was extraordinary. Outstanding customer service. The drinks were superb. “We had an incredible experience at Grill 23 & Bar — easily the best steakhouse we’ve been to in Boston. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. We ordered both the filet mignon and the ribeye, and each steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The sides were just as memorable — the macaroni and cheese was rich and comforting, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. Adding the Béarnaise sauce on the side was absolutely worth it and paired beautifully with the steaks. Dessert was the perfect ending: warm chocolate chip cookies served with vanilla ice cream — simple, classic, and done flawlessly. A huge highlight of the evening was our waiter, Bernardo. We will absolutely be requesting him on future visits. He offered thoughtful suggestions, anticipated our needs effortlessly, and somehow managed to be there exactly when we needed him — and never when we didn’t, if that makes sense. “I thought Capri was going to be another overhyped restaurant that put too much effort in the decor and not enough on the food - and am I glad to be wrong.

I won’t spend too much time in the space itself, it’s gorgeous, it’s what everyone raves about - the real star is the food.

On paper, nothing sounds too groundbreaking but in practice - all of it kinda blew me away. The garlic bread was incredible, emphasis on the GARLIC. Whole cloves of garlic baked into the bread then topped with fried garlic. The bolognese was another great surprise - I loved that the meat was braised instead of minced. Then the Strawberry Rhubarb Crostada might be one of the best desserts I ever had. Everything had so much flavor.

Lastly, free validated parking. Truly a myth to have parking at any Boston restaurant.“

“Had an amazing experience at Medium Rare thanks to Luna and Cede! They were both incredibly attentive, friendly, and made the whole night feel welcoming and fun. The service was fast, professional, and genuinely caring from start to finish. You can tell they really care about the customer experience. “We were celebrating our 16th anniversary and my retirement, and wanted to do it up right! We picked the right place for it. Coming in from Cape Cod, for a concert at Fenway we had reservations for Abe and Louie’s, but there were 2 at the bar so they let us sit there instead of our table. Our bartenders were great. To our surprise, Bree almost immediately said “Happy Anniversary!” And our drink order was taken. Michelle made a spicy margarita with a nice kick and a heavy glass, and a soda. Then we ordered shrimp cocktail which were brought out in mere moments. The shrimp were huge and cold and crunchy- perfect! We took our time and were not rushed to order our meal, but once we did, with Kendal, she asked all the right questions, offered to split our salad in the kitchen, and made some great recommendations. I wanted my Filet with their wedge salad as my entree and was told no problem. Our meal, my huge filet and my man’s ribeye were both cooked as requested and his suggested garlic whipped potatoes were creamy and yummy! The food was all out of this world, but what made the dining a true experience was the tango these three women danced around each other, each knowing what the other was doing and exactly what their patrons wanted. You can get a great filet many places but I pay for the service and we both felt like we were treated like royalty. Thank you Bree, Kendal and Michelle for making our anniversary and my retirement a true celebration!!“

“Food was great as was our server. There was a birthday celebrant with us and she was treated accordingly. The only issue to me was how loud the place was because it was quite full. There is no reason why noise buffers can't be used from the start when restaurants are designed.“

“The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. My steak came out a bit overcooked, but the server handled it immediately and kindly replaced it with the doneness we originally requested without any hesitation. The manager also came over to check on us in a very polite and respectful way, which made us feel well taken care of.

There was only a small disappointment during our experience. When I made the reservation, I mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, and I was really looking forward to it. I had seen that other guests received a complimentary dessert with an anniversary message, so I was hoping for the same and was even planning to take some photos to remember the moment.

Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any anniversary acknowledgment or dessert, which left me a little disappointed. At the time, the restaurant was not busy at all—there were only three tables including ours—so it felt a bit more noticeable. If it had been a busy night, I would completely understand.

The steaks were cooked to perfection, the mushroom and sweet corn sides were amazing and the tater tots (I'd rename them mashed potater tots) are ridiculous. The service was fantastic and the reception my wife and I got from Lori was as warm and welcoming as the first time I was there with a different group. We have great steak house choices in Massachusetts and this one is among the top. Well done to everyone there.“

“I haven’t been to Yard House in so long. I was starving so I decided to get dinner and go for a drink there. I ordered Lobster Garlic noodles, and for a drink I got a Twisted Tea. I was disappointed that they took Chocolate Cake off their menu that was always the best! But I got this big Oreo cookie brownie and it comes with Ice Cream on top with Caramel. It was very delicious. Also, the bartender lady with glasses who severed me was an excellent bartender! She was super sweet very friendly. I hope to come back again soon!“
