“The fried noodle is delicious. Unfortunately the soup is beef broth otherwise I could eat that too
We ordered pumpkin mochi it has red bean in it which tasted good. The famous taro puff also not to be missed.

“I've been meaning to try this place for a while, and got to try a lot of things as we went with a group of friends. Overall I would say that the food was good, but the flavors were a bit repetitive and nothing stood out. The fried rice was probably my favorite dish. The barbecue dishes all tasted similar and the mushrooms were sadly quite soggy and under seasoned.“

“It was our first time here. Sushi was great. Staff was also very pleasant. The restaurant itself was a very nice environment nice seating and lighting. The presentation of the sushi was amazing! It came in a beautifully designed boat steaming with dried ice and beautiful decorations! They had a pretty decent size menu. Absolutely going back.“

“Updating my previous review after we visited Liyin again a few more time. The food has much improved. The congee is tasty, much better than before. The beef chow fung noodle has a great texture and flavor. Their in house hot chili oil is a great complement to the beef noodles. The shrimp rice roll is our favorite rice roll. It has scallions inside which enhances the flavor. We tried the hot milk tea and it's very authentic, like the ones in Hong Kong, and you can order it with desired sweetness level.

The staff is friendly, efficient, accommodating and able to speak Cantonese. I appreciate and enjoy that as part of the whole dining experience. Liyin is a great addition to the neighborhood.“

“The star of this dish is undoubtedly the 'guo ba' - the layer of crispy, scorched rice at the bottom of the clay pot. It's golden, crunchy, and infused with the savory juices from the meat and sauce. The contrast between the tender, steamed rice and the crunchy crust is textural perfection. “Ordered the 3 entree bento from ubereats and I would definitely order it again! It’s a generous amount of food with variety. It was a little salty but was flavorful and spicy. I liked the pork in garlic sauce and celery with shrimp. I’m glad they wrapped the containers with plastic because the oil/sauces spill out of the containers during transit!“

“I meant to leave a review a while back. They have some great food always made fresh to go. I placed a order one day and was picking it up as they closed. They forgot my chicken teriyaki. Only one person was there cleaning up looked like they were ready to go. I told them they forgot my chicken teriyaki. He said I never ordered. But I did because my order never changes. He took the initiative to make it for me, not only that he gave me some house rice with it..“

“Lan Feast is a great new addition to the Brookline neighborhood. The food is quite authentic, from the beef noodles, cooked dishes and even down to the desserts.

The beef noodle soup had a good rich flavor. I would have preferred the noodles to be more chewy rather than soft but it was still tasty. The braised beef was very dry however. I hope they can improve on that in the future. The scallion pancakes had good scallion flavor but were undercooked. The eggplant with strignbeans dish was very tasty and well cooked. I was quite surprised by their red bean and dates soup dessert. It was not too sweet, had great soft red beans and sweet dates that rounded out that soup nicely. I would definitely order that again.

Service was friendly and efficient, although a bit slow on the Tuesday night that we were there. They seemed very short staffed that night and the restaurant was full of patrons.

“We’ve been going to this Chinese food place for years. The reason is it’s higher quality that most other places around the food is quick to come out and the service is always great. They have a bathroom and it is accessible. The parking lot is huge and I’ve never seen it full so you have plenty of places to park you can enter through two roads. So it’s a quick In-N-Out. I’ve gotta say in all the years going there. I don’t think they’ve ever messed up my order although funny story back in the day when we went there years ago to eat inside which we used to do a lot I was cut off not from drinking alcohol but from drinking soda it’s a funny story that we still remember till this day. The guy was worried about my health and said three sodas is too much for you even back then when it was by the can and I was paying for each individual drink, but even eating inside is nice. They’ve always been very nice and accommodating.“

“Very solid Chinese classic take out. Some of the best I've had in the Boston area and I've tried so many spots. I only got basic safe items, but spare ribs and rangoons get a sixth star and the fried rice was a pefect fluffy texture with tons of pork and perfectly cooked egg in each bite. I definitely will try more items in the future.“

They offer a variety of appetizers, entrees, and rice and noodle dishes that are so tasty it's hard to put your chop sticks down. The service is friendly and efficient. The ambiance is bright and cheerful. We've always had a great meal and a wonderful time at Golden Temple and we'll be returning for more.“
