“Perched with killer views, this spot dishes out some seriously tasty grub. The clam chowder was a creamy dream, and the fish and chips? Crispy perfection. Portions are massive—come hungry! The kids’ menu is a beast, packed with options for picky eaters.
But, it’s not all smooth sailing. Dropped my rating from 5 to 4 stars because they tried to sneak in charges for kids’ menu sides that are supposed to be included. They claimed they’d fix it, but one charge still slipped through. Also, my beer arrived with some mystery substance smeared on the rim of the glass—yuck. They swapped it out quick, but still. Solid spot, just check your bill and your glass!“

“Got to have a good cold beer and some great food this past Friday before Participating in the 250th Anniversary of The Battle of Bunker Hill. We came all the way from Roxboro North Carolina. People were friendly, don’t know if it was my Southern Accent 😁 but either way I had a great time relaxing at the Tavern.“

“Yalllll ….. this pizza joint is amazing. We landed in Boston on a Saturday night and were desperate to find a place to eat. We parked in front and the smell of the pizza was mouthwatering.
Super friendly guys!!!
The meat lovers pizza was SUPER delicious & the Greek salad we ordered was great.
The brownies were bomb!!

“We stumbled on the amazing restaurant and stopped in twice while on vacation in South Boston! The food was unbelievable and the service was fantastic! 👏🏼 This is going to be our go to spot every time we make our annual trip to Boston. “Very unique restaurant that does some super cool things! Pros: - Any of their baked goods are TO DIE FOR. - Lovely environment - Nails the diner theme - An experience!! Cons: - I’ve been here three times now and honestly I just don’t think their actual entrees are super memorable. I tried their clam chowder, their jackfruit bowl, and the chicken waffles. And only the chicken waffles stood out as being good (still not fantastic) the others were meh 🤷 - wish it was all vegan. To break it down: 4/5 experience 5/5 sweets and baked goods 3/5 food So highly recommend visiting and trying it out! Get your nostalgic diner food and your favorite baked goods and have a blast.“

“This place is so cool, truly hidden I would have missed it had they not dared me to try their spicy pickles from a roadside sign out front. Spicy Pickels were amazing and the two young men behind the counter were spunky friendly and joy to talk to! Coming back for falafel and hummus once I have a bigger appetite“

“This company fires employees over nothing, due to mangers latent laziness, and refusal to back up there emploees. a good bricklayer made about 350 in the early 1980's @ chubbs tequila bar your local 7 iron workers had there charter revoked in philidelpia, I wonder why the landmark doesn't have a social media“

“THIS PLACE WENT FROM BEING ONE OF THE BEST GEMS TO A PLACE THAT FEELS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO EVEN SET A FOOT IN. I'VE BEEN TO THIS PLACE FOR OVER 10 YEARS, SINCE PANDEMIC HAVE NOT GONE. WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. THE AMOUNT OF DISPLEASSURE THESE WOMAN HAVE BEING THEIR IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SERVED, ASIDE FROM THE FOOD FEELING SO RUSH THIS TIME AROUND AS WE GOT THERE AT 8 THEY CLOSED AT 10PM. “We took a friend out to dinner at Oleana last night for her birthday and it was one of the best meals we’ve had. We loved being able to share and sample so many dishes, and each one was a masterful balancing of herbs, spices and flavors. The service was also top-notch. We can’t wait to return! “This resaurant is by the Copley pla e mall. Really nice vibe inside. Staff was super friendly. Love that they come with the bottle of wine and then serve you onbthe spot. Applaud themnfor that. Rhe meatballs with taiasted bread is a great app. But the Margherita & Bianco pizza were amazing. The dough, marinara and chesses were top notch.. Highly recommend their 🍕.“

“We ate at Shi Daxia hotpot after our first Red Sox game. It was an amazing end to an amazing day. My son got a baseball at his first Red Sox game. The mascots came up and took photos with us. Then to top it all off, we went to the restaurant at 10pm and they said we could have dinner there quickly. They were so polite about it. The meat at the hotpot was fresh and delicious.
Would I eat there again ? Absolutely !!!“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“
