“I honestly can’t recommend this place anymore. They have a frequent customer punch card which once completed grants you a free sandwich. I went and redeemed my card and purchased 2 bags of chips and a Diet Coke. When I get to work I check my account and he charged me $11.77. I assume he forgot to give me my free sandwich and go back. He then goes on to tell me that the bags of chips are $2.50 each, he charged me another $2.50 because I asked for hot peppers on my sandwich. He then says the 20oz soda is $4.25… I know he arbitrarily made up these prices on the fly as I was obviously a frequent customer and none of this matches up to my previous purchases. If you don’t want people to get a free sandwich don’t have the card.“

“Perfect little sub shop in Backbay. We opted for the Italian Sub to go. The atmosphere was awesome with a lot of locals getting what seemed to be a regular daily lunch meal. The staff and customers seemed to know each other and a sense of community was ever so prevalent. The food itself was outstanding, even after a 5 hour train ride it traveled with us to ur next stop. Highly recommend this place. Truly a diamond in the rough.“

“Haven't been to this place in years but, boy sm I glad I did. Got a steak onion and cheese sub at 8 AM, because I could order that at what would be other shops " Breakfast only" time. Nice soft roll ,steak NOT chopped to oblivious gravel like other shops. This spot IS the spot for a steak and cheese . I'm gonna go back and try all the ol standards again done right. Kudos. Can't wait to try a simple hit dog. Believe it or not, people screw that up . But according to the reviews I've seen, they're done just right. It's really nice to know that these non pretentecious simply good food places still do exist.“

When my immigrant parents said “ Study Hard” they meant so I can live in a neighborhood that serves sandwiches like those found at Michael’s Deli. Even though there was a heavy rush, Komal Patel handled everything very professionally and stayed friendly and patient with customers. “We tried two amazing sandwiches at Banh Mi Huong: the Banh Mi Ga (Five-spice chicken) and the Banh Mi Bo (Lemongrass steak). Both were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The wait was short, and I liked that you can see your name and estimated time on the board. We ordered takeout, but there were tables available for dining in as well. The restaurant is clean, inviting, and comfortable, and the service was great. I would definitely recommend Banh Mi Huong for a satisfying meal.“

“One of the best sub sandwiches you will ever have.
Service is fast. Food is great quality. You get a great value here. The subs are about 50% larger than most other places nearby and it is about a dollar cheaper. There is not much room to eat and the stools are very wobbly. That does not matter much since almost all the customers are grab and go.

“Stopped in to Jimmy’s Market today and the advertising I’ve seen on how good their food is was definitely accurate. I ordered a Brennan which was chicken fingers, American cheese, delicious bacon, topped with a nice honey mustard. Definitely very tasty. My buddy ordered a steak and cheese with mushroom, pepper and onion. It looked amazing and he said it was delicious. They were busy celebrating 50 years in business and there is no wonder why they’ve been so successful for so long. We definitely recommend stopping by!“

And the portion sizes are great too. Their menu takes u from soups, wraps, cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, salads and hot dishes. “Im not sure if this is the same ADK shop in roxbury by Mt Pleasant St, but if it is i went there today on a whim. I was hungry after an 11 hour work day. Doing laundry next door and decided to stop by.
I asked the gentleman at the counter if they did Tripleta sandwiches as they weren't on the menu. He didnt hesitate to say yes and in 10 minutes chuffed me up the BEST SANDWICH I have ever eaten in my life. The meat was tender and rich, the pepper jack cheese had the perfect kick, the red onions and mayo perfectly went with the sandwich. I had to go back just to let the only guy working he did amazing. Im just your average white guy who was more than impressed by this sandwich. I highly reccomend.“
