“I ordered my daughters 6th birthday cake from La Casa Del Pandebono and it literally the best experience I’ve ever had with any business. Not only was the custom cake beautiful and delicious, they provided a level of exceptional customer service that I didn’t even know existed. The “Tangled” cake included a beautiful edible gold crown as it’s center piece, and it was packaged separately. Despite my best efforts to handle it carefully, I accidentally broke it the night before the birthday party. I texted the owner asking if he has recommendations for me to reassemble it (knowing it was unlikely, but I was desperate). He immediately responded and asked for my address, letting me know he’d deliver a new one when he closed the store (I live in another town). I was shocked at his generosity and beyond grateful. As an expression of gratitude, a sent him an additional tip which he politely attempted to reject (I wouldn’t allow it…haha). In return, he delivered not only the grown, but an order of birria tacos and an empanada (which I was admiring when I went to pick up the cake) - literally the best tacos I’ve ever had. I cannot emphasize how touched I was by this experience. La Casa Del Pandebono is a rare gem - baked goods that are truly a work of art, and incredible food that is only surpassed by the unbelievable customer service. I will be a customer for life.“

“Hidden gem in Eastie!! The customer service is great and attentive, the food comes out quick, and everything has been delicious. I've tried their pupusas revueltas and tacos de lengua, de res & de pollo, and everything was incredible and super tasty. Their menu could use some updates since some beers were unavailable when I visited, but it's not a huge deal - my waitress just informed me of which beers they have in stock. I've been twice and I'm so excited to go back. Would absolutely recommend if you're looking for good Mexican and Salvadoran food in Boston!“

“The black and blue burger was very taste. We also got the Cesar salad - the sliced pieces of Parmesan was a nice touch. My wife got the chicken sandwich, it was so so. My biggest issue, I could not find a menu anywhere in my room, on the Marriott website or on TV system. I had to come here to see the menu. I am a little irritated they would not substitute anything for the fries. The staff seemed to have a little attitude, but it might just have been the hostess.“

“Asia Mei is easily one of the best Chefs in Boston. I've eaten here several times, but I can't believe that I haven't written a review before now! My husband and I had brunch at moonshine 152 last weekend and told friends about it. Next thing you know, the four of us were in there around noon time today having brunch again. We shared three starters, alongside sharing all four entrées and everything, I mean everything was to die for! Ms Asia herself delivered some of our plates and she is just as delightful as she is talented. Needless to say, dinner is amazing here as well. The vibe in the restaurant is so easy and you can tell that the staff get along very well together. What I can't believe is how this place wasn't fully packed today or last weekend even. Definitely a good amount of patrons, but I've had brunch at places that are hard to get into and left much less satisfied.“

“Extensive vegan menu, delicious for a date night! Vegan does not equal healthy so come expecting fried, salty, sugary (yummy!) food. I had the steak frites which was really delicious, and a side of cabbage slaw which I was on the fence about. The only word I can think of to describe the texture is “viscous”. Hubby got the blue plate special which was tamales. He wasn’t blown away. But of course the deserts at Veggie Galaxy more than make up for any disappointment about dinner! “We stopped by here on Halloween needing some fuel for our trip to Salem! It did not disappoint! We were welcomed with smiles and free falafel tasters. It was a Friday special so we had extra falafel with the falafel bowl order too. I ordered the falafel bowl, which was INCREDIBLE! My husband had another bowl which I can't remember what it was called but it had egg in it - he also enjoyed this. There is a small seating area inside and some additional seats on the street. “Stopped in on a Thursday night with the family, no reservations, and waited about 35 minutes for a table. Totally worth it.

We ordered two pizzas, the burrata salad, and a charcuterie board, and everything hit the mark. The pizzas were perfectly cooked, great crust and flavor, the burrata was fresh and creamy, and the charcuterie board was exactly what you’d hope for—quality meats and cheeses done right.

Food came out quick, service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe was casual but lively.

“Incredible, incredible, incredible food!!! When I was placing order I was thinking “it’s just noodles. How surprising it can be.” I was wrong. Never ever in my life I tried something like this before. There is so much flavor to explore in the noodles: the peanuts, the peanut butter, the mayo, the tofu, the spicy peppers… you don’t get the flavory-mixed paste covering everything, that would be homogeneous. But no, the ingredients come by themselves. And that’s the pure joy of vegetarian food: when made right, you don’t get repetition. You’d discover how rich in flavours those ingredients can be. I was hugely satisfied upon completing my meal. 100% recommended.“

We ordered the broccolini, kale salad, and both ordered the grass-fed steak and brisket, and the chef hit it out of the park, still maintaining mouth watering taste, while adapting those without dairy & garlic. Craziest thing of it all is the pricing. Four slices, arancini, and a drink for $16.00? How? In today’s economy how are they keeping the price this low? Also amazing. Just go. Don’t think about it, don’t pass go, don’t collect $200…go get your dang perfect slice.“

“The food and drinks were excellent. 5:30 reservation right when they opened-probably wouldn't do that again. Everyone got sat at the same time and made for a long wait. Didnt get drinks until 5:52. Total dining time was 2 hours. Found street parking but I can see where this wouldn't be as possible during busier times of year. Bar is first come first serve and people start lining up around 4:30.“

Dining area was small, but single seats long the window were open. Price for the entree was $22, but short ribs don't come cheap. The meat fell off the bones, and it made a tasty curry! WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR.
