“In short: an authentic, deliciously comforting, gourmet dining experience downsized to take out only.
Order times are on the longer side, usually they say 40 minutes, but I'm more than ok waiting, it's well worth it. You can tell it's made fresh and with quality ingredients. They are very consitent in quality, portions, and good service. I have never had an issue with an order or had to wait for service. The snug parking issue is forgotten as soon as you walk into an always clean and welcoming place that keeps your food warm for you in case you're running a bit late. The prices are higher than your average pizza place but Typical Sicilian is far from average. My wife and I have been tasting our way thru the menu and there is no disappointment in sight. Everything, from the positive anticipation after opening the containers, to that first bite that gives you that deeply satisfying "mmmmm", is just a pleasant experience every time. I have added some pictures of a few dishes we have tried, to be clear, some are so good that my wife dug in faster than I could get the camera. My wife loves the Chicken Francaise here.
I recommend you check the specials regularly, I appreciate that they actually update this unlike a lot of places. Just last night I was a little sad they didn't have the Penne vodka with chicken and prosciutto anymore, but quickly got excited to see the stuffed pork chop that I immediately decided on and it was GOOOOOD!! The maple bourbon cream is amazing and I saved the leftover sauce for a chicken and waffle breakfast I made this morning...I might need to ask if I can buy a bottle of just the sauce! Speaking of sauces, the Typical sauce is perfect for pasta, it's creamy but not too heavy, much better than any alfredo sauce I've had. I personally love tortellini and maybe some day I'll find a tortellini dish in the specials (besides the soup I hear is very good and will be trying).
The flavor palette of the menu covers hearty pasta, wood fire pizza, Mediterranean type salads and apps, and also covers your meaty dinner cravings.

“I’ve been coming to Family Pizzeria for years, and even left them a 5-star review over 7 years ago. After a long break since 2020, I finally made it back—and I’m happy to say the place is just as great, if not better, than I remember.

The dining room is clean, cozy, and welcoming with exposed brick, friendly vibes, and plenty of seating. The staff was warm and attentive throughout our visit, making the experience feel personal and relaxed. It was great to see the same sense of family and community I remembered from before.

“I recently got catering for the first time from Frankie’s. It was absolutely excellent and everyone loved it! “Their food is amazing. The wife and I have been doing their cauliflower crust pizza with only chicken, broccoli, olive oil and garlic (no cheese), it is our treat for our diet. “Iris told us she has owned this place since 1963! She took so much care to make sure we got the food we wanted in the time we had to sit down and eat. Everything is fresh baked, woth fresh ingredients and it definitely makes the difference. It reminded me of my grandparents, the way they used to cook.

Some small notes, but not to deter you, make sure you go to the bathroom before hand because there is none here. It does take some time for deserts, because they are made fresh; about 30 minutes. The tables can be a bit wobbly, but it all has a wonderful, thoughtful presentation from the old country, as she put it. We did not see alcohol on the menu, but it was nothing problem to grab beer across the street and eat it with our wings and pizza.

The pizza was exactly what we wanted from that Greek/Italian style, cut into squares and the wings were surprisingly good. Get the garlic parm.

Their pizza looks nice, so not sure why they don't photograph it. Tasty food, pizza not greasy, it's kind of old-school American Italian style. More of a takeout spot since seating is limited. “My husband and I have dinner at Lulu's at least twice a week. They have the best drinks, food and staff. The French onion soup is the best in the area (in my opinion.) The wait staff is so friendly and always makes us feel like we're having dinner at a friend's house. We almost always run into old friends there and never feel rushed. “Visiting from Texas, we stumbled upon this pizza spot. First off, everything's bigger in texas was proven false. The medium here would be like a party size in texas. It was absolutely massive. The price was very affordable the massive medium here is the same cost as a regular medium in texas. Second, the worker helping us was awesome, we dined in and he took care of us like this was a 5 star restaurant.
