“I don’t live in the area, I’m from the south shore but one day at work I was craving Chinese food so bad and this is next to me. I never go to Chinese places below 4.5 rating (but I was determined) so I tried this place and omg!! Idk why it doesn’t have a higher rating but it’s like my new favorite Chinese food place lol I love the lunch specials. The lomein and king oak chicken and chicken with broccoli are so amazing !!“

“We started going to the Mandarin in 2018 while living in foxboro and it became our “ Cheers”. After moving out of town we tried to find a new place but realized that the team at the mandarin cannot be duplicated !!!!! We find ourselves still making the drive ! Dumplings were FULL of meat, and cooked awesome,Chicken Fingers were FULL of meat, and cooked perfect, LoMein was jammed in the dish, and it was phenomenal. I had to go back and look who I actually ordered from, because the food was ridiculous. I'll be spreading the word about how good it is. TYVM“

“Greeted at the entrance by Bella and Kati who were the Hostesses with friendly and professional hospitality along with Paige the manager. We were promptly seated and our server Mellissa was exceptional . She took our drink, appetizer ,food and desert order without writing anything down.. imagine ?? “A hidden gem that opened last year and now our weekly go-to for Japanese - sashimi, sushi, ramen and poke bowls. The staff is very friendly and the owner, Anna, makes you feel so at home. The sashimi/sushi are fresh, delicious and prepared beautifully. The cocktails are creative and well made - mai tais, pistachio martinis, you name it. The kids (and adults) enjoy various fruit teas/slushees with optional boba. They also offer Chinese and Thai food on the menu. Staples like beef teriyaki sticks, sichuan fried rice or tangerine beef are must haves and often added to our meals with lots of leftovers to go home with. Highly recommend Wasabi Asian Bistro&Bar to anyone looking for great Asian food.“

The wife is amazing hostess, outgoing and with a smile. Her children work there too, a real authentic family established. One of the very best Solid Crispy sesame chicken, very Little flour, less batter more meat!!! It’s healthier and you can taste the texture of flavors. It’s one if a kind, a signature dish most definitely worth trying.

Not greasy, not oily, not salty . The chicken wings have an amazing marinade glaze, the chicken lo mein is phenomenal all freshly prepared with love and attention. The standout dish is the FISH with black bean sauce!!!! Try it, the best kept secret in Norwood. I drive from Newton and honestly if this was closer I would go more often. But incredible value and quality despite the distance“

“Grandma and Grandpa here from NH visiting grandkids today. Grandpa suggests Chinese.. found these guys-- ordered for 2 adults, a 10 yo, 8 yo, 4 yo. Pickup avail in 15 mins. I was concerned over ordering enough. We had way more than enough for, and lot for the next day for a more than reasonable price. Everyone was happy... quality was more than good for Chinese. Awesome quantities, great quality and service.“

“Jay Bo Cafe is the absolute best Chinese food in the area. There is no competition! Clean restaurant run by friendly people. I've been consistently ordering them for 8 years and they've never once messed up my order. The food is delicious and vegetables are very fresh. Highly recommend!“

“I come here every couple months when visiting, and they know how to do chinese takeout right. Their crab rangoons are some of the best (even better than some of the thai restaurants I like), the chicken fingers are always crispy and hot, and the chow fun noodles are always great. I was surprised with the lower rating but I guess you just can't make everyone happy.“

“Ordered the combination meal 12A was the generals chicken, pork fried rice crab Rangoon with chicken wings you can substitute if you like, the food was overall very tasty and fresh the chicken wings were hot and delicious crab Rangoon were ok not my favorite but definitely recommend they have plenty of options!!!“

“I got take-out that was ordered online. The food was good, but the portions were small for the price. Spicy tuna roll - 6 smallish pieces and a shrimp tempura roll - 5 pieces. After tax it was almost $18. So I liked the food, but felt it was expensive for the portions.“

Food was amazing; sesame chicken had the perfect crisp, however would be a better dish if they included more broccoli. Sushi was also really good considering the price. “Got a pu-pu for two, pork fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken. Sweet and sour chicken is chicken fingers with sweet and sour sauce. Expected it to be more like sesame, or general gau chicken. The food was very good. Not very greasy at all. Overall a very good value.“

“Nice spot for quick Chinese food. It's served with a smile and the food is mostly fresh but always delicious! I've never had a bad meal here! Their crab rangoon are perfectly crispy tips and the cheese inside is soft and gooie deliciousness.“

“This is the place if you want to get cheap Chinese food made in the 1980's style. Definitely not fancy. You find any modern or exotic dishes here, but if you just want some old-school appetizers, fried rice, chow mein, etc. This place is worth a try.“

“What happened? Are there new owners? This used to be the best Chinese Restaurant on par with China Temple in Brookline. The people at the front desk are very rude & not at all welcoming, & the take out food was terrible ( no inside dining during CIVID). I don’t mind paying their new higher prices, but do not cut back on the food quality. You have lost a long time customer.“

“Overall their food is great. This place is extremely clean. Employees are nice. Only thing is sometimes the fried rice isn't cooked properly. I normally get super veggies but I can imagine for people getting rice that this issue should be addressed. I still give 5 stars because overall it's still great“
