“Great food and cocktails. We had a 40th birthday event at the rooftop and it was a fun time with delicious food and drinks. Beautiful views. Charles the manager was easy to work with making our plans and made sure everything ran smoothly and as planned. He was helpful, professional, responsive and friendly. Abby our bartender was the best! We will be coming back and would not hesitate to book again or go for an evening out. Thank you Charles!”

“My husband took our 4 boys out for a father/son day, so I decided to take my daughter out for a late breakfast. We ended up at a restaurant that’s been on my radar for awhile, Roasted coffee bar in Haverhill (181 Groveland St).. and I’m so happy with our choice! It’s a small spot tucked in a residential area, parking at the restaurant is limited but plenty of on street parking. It’s bigger inside than I expected though, with several tables along with some comfy looking armchairs. Very cozy atmosphere with plants and other pretty decor. Spotlessly clean as well. They offer a variety of creative sandwiches, toasts, waffles, salads, and wraps along with all sorts of coffee and tea based drinks. I opted to “make my own” and I chose buttermilk fried chicken with bacon, pickles and whole grain mustard on a homemade biscuit. My daughter ordered one of their specialty sandwiches called “Spice Of Life” which is Buttermilk fried chicken, maple-sriracha syrup, cheddar cheese, bacon and house-made pickles.. she also got hers on a biscuit. Everything was absolutely delicious! We both agreed that these were the best biscuits we’ve ever gotten in any restaurant we’ve ever been to. Flaky and buttery.. they melt in your mouth.. I could eat a plate of those plain and be perfectly happy! But the chicken was also fantastic..juicy and tender, super crispy and flavorful crust. The bacon they use is excellent.. very smoky flavor. Their (House-made) pickles are a bit sweeter than standard pickles but still very good. These are hefty sandwiches too. They don’t skimp on portions at all. Prices are between $10.00 and $14.00 each which I feel is perfectly reasonable considering both the quality and the sheer amount of food they give you. For drinks I got an iced latte with skim milk and caramel, my daughter got an iced matcha latte with almond milk and vanilla syrup. Drinks were great, coffee had a nice robust fresh roasted flavor. My daughter said the quality of the matcha they use is very good. The staff was super friendly, and the service was quick. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Lots of ppl were coming in to get take out too (you can order online via “spot on” seamless, grubhub and Uber eats). They are open 7 days a week from 7am until 2pm. Great food, great staff, great restaurant! Highly recommend you give them a try!”

“If you’re looking for the perfect place to celebrate a birthday, throw axes, eat great food, drink excellent cocktails, and accidentally discover your sister is apparently the most popular girl in Haverhill… look no further than Wicked Axe. My sister’s surprise birthday party was awesome.The food was genuinely great, not the usual “event food” where you politely chew and pretend to enjoy a dry chicken skewer. The drinks were awesome, the axe throwing was a blast, and the live band had the whole place buzzing. The venue itself is huge, fun, and perfectly set up for groups. But honestly, what made the night stand out was the staff. With that many people, something usually goes sideways. Nope. The team handled everything like pros. They were friendly, organized, and upbeat. Wicked Axe absolutely nailed it from start to finish. Great entertainment venue, great atmosphere, and a perfect spot for parties, events, or just releasing a little stress by hurling axes at wood like a civilized adult. Highly recommend. “The Tap is one of my favorite places to go for food and drinks in downtown Haverhill. I’ve gone with friends and my partner and we’ve all enjoyed ourselves every time. The menu changes often which keeps me on my toes but the options are always so varied yet are always so good in regards to selection! Funny enough I had the same server twice about a year ago part from each time and she was amazing both times!! Unfortunately I never got her name but she was great both times!! The food was fresh and AMAZING (see pictures). With the portions and how great everything was the price was beyond reasonable!!! Plus they have a downstairs bar with games like darts, hook ring and billiards, separate from their upstairs bar and dining room PLUS the deck. I’d recommend the Tap to anyone looking for a good time whether it was for lunch, dinner or night out! Love love love the Tap!”

“Highly recommend Nelly’s for their delicious food and above and beyond customer service when having an allergy. They made an amazing Italian sub on pizza dough that was absolutely delicious and my other half had the Good Fella that he said was top notch! Thank you so much for making my day by accommodating to a nursing mom who finds it difficult to eat out due to baby’s allergy. We will definitely be back! If you are contemplating trying Nellys, they are a must. They take their food to the next level!!”

“I went there last night for my first time to enjoy some Nigerian food and it turned out to be a private event comedy show however I was able to purchase tickets and sit at the bar and I felt very comfortable and I say that because I was the only Caucasian in there lol but the atmosphere was friendly fun and the cook was very accommodating considering I had shown up later in the night I would definitely recommend this place and I hope it survives and thrives. “For food: The taste of my food was flavorful here but the rice was soggy when I visited.

For service: Workers were oddly sparse with the meat, too. I had what looked like a good scoop and the line person decided to tilt the spoon and jerk nearly half of the protein back into the bin. Can I just have a good portion without paying for extra?

For atmosphere: The inside was small and the front door swung freely with the wind. Other than that, it was fine. Decent though considering meal quality of a Chipotle over the other nearby options.”

So the runner gave the food to the car in front of me and then when he got to the window I realize it was the same guy. There was four other people working there I don't understand why he has to do all the work himself He deserves a raise and he shouldn't be so stressed out about the timer pad because he had already taken care of my order but because they were other people in front of me waiting for a portion of their order He couldn't get me off the pad. He's a hard working man You could tell that he took initiative and made sure that all the customers were taken care of with our bunch of them was still on their cell phones while he was trying to do the work This is during a Friday night dinner rush”
