“Delicious menu items.. the pear salad is delicious and a fabulous starter to share. I had the swordfish over the lobster succotash and it was fantastic.. the succotash alone would be a delight! Highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back. We ended with the flourless chocolate cake and it was perfect“

“Petra our server was truly exceptional, as were the other members of the staff. Clearly someone has done a good training job. Atmosphere, upbeat and enjoyable, beautiful views, not crowded, could be a bit loud when really busy. The food was very, very good. I recommend the beet salad with the salmon, which had an unusually crispy exterior without being overcooked. The grilled shrimp on the same beet salad were also perfectly cooked and seasoned nicely. . Eggs Benedict were good although we were not fond of the Portuguese bread, but OK. The ruby red mock cocktail was outstanding.
Other than the super service the espresso was best of all!!

“I was in town this past week for a business conference. Another attendee asked the bartender at our hotel where the best seafood was; and she recommended Belle Isle, stating, "Best Lobster Rolls in the city." So we hopped in an Uber and made our way to Belle Isle. Upon arrival we saw that the restaurant was situated right on the water, with an accessible doc, which hosted, what appeared to be, a functional fishing boat and lobster traps.

The hostess encouraged us to sit where ever we would like. After a quick huddle we sat down at the bar and were immediately greeted by Melissa; who was cheerful, and poured a perfectly cold draft beer. She recommended the Lobster Pie as it was her favorite, but our stomachs were set on the Lobster Rolls as per our hotel bartenders glowing review.

We were not disappointed! The lobster roll was almost too much to handle. The bread that hosted the succulent chunks of claw and tail meat was buttered and toasted to perfection; but hardly the texas bookshelf you'd expect it to be upon seeing how much lobster was piled on top.

We met two locals, Henry and Paula, who also recommended the Lobster Pie, as well as the Clam Chowder. And both of us having never had New England Clam Chowder out of anything other than a soup can, jumped at the opportunity to taste the real thing. Another delicious dish! Best Clam Chowder I've ever had, hands down.

I came back for a second visit, risking missing my flight home to try the Lobster Pie. It was worth every little bit of stress I gained watching my Uber take 5 minutes longer to pick me up than the app predicted. (I made my flight)

“Good morning I own the Musical Bubble Barge with Santa. After a visit with Santa to Off the Hook, John hooked us up with dinner for 3. Amazing meals My husband had the haddock. Came with spinach (doesn’t like spinach) so I took it from him. I put it back and said taste it. He took a tiny piece. Did the taste taste taste with his lips and said, hmm that’s really good. Garlicky, not mushy… that’s good! And the stuffing in the haddock is delicious. You wouldn’t expect this from a pub. Really good. For me Best fish taco Pieces were huge Santa just chowed on his fish n chips. Said nothing Sat back Pat his belly And said That was a meal! “I’m a picky one when it comes to eating fish. This little shop right under the Fore River Bridge is the absolute best spot if you want fish so fresh it is obvious that it is the day’s catch! The batter is perfectly light, doesn’t separate from the fish and the result is simply the best fried fish I’ve EVER TASTED! Do yourself a favor and check them out!“

Also what is quite obvious is that they use clean oil for their fried stuff. Turning over your oil in the fryers is one of the most important things a place like this can do and it is clear to me that they take pride in freshness. Highy recommend!“
