“We held our wedding reception upstairs at The Parrot and it was amazing. Working with Hailey made everything go so smoothly. She was attentive and clear with communication during the whole process. Everyone RAVED about the food. We had passed apps and the Lamb Lollipop was definitely the crowd favorite. We had a few severe allergies in our guest list and the staff was more than accommodating to keep our guests safe. The Parrot was the perfect spot for us, delicious food, amazing views and a top notch staff. 🌟“

“The first time as a European tourist in Boston, of course, was also on my wish list to try a "lobster roll" for the first time in my life.\n\nOn a walk to the harbour, I came across JAMES HOOK & Co, where I was simply approached by the charming house, the decoration, the planting and the information that it was founded in 1925. \n\nMy credo is always "If a business has been on the market for such a long time...they know what they are doing, do it with passion and just have to be good + if someone values the external design, they also give value to their food and will prepare it well and create an appropriate ambience for them to shine and taste".\n\nUnfortunately, I had to realize that I was there three minutes before closing time, the employees were in the middle of cleaning up and cleaning. So I took a heart and asked one of the employees if I could still order a Lobster Roll quickly as it would be my last day in Boston and I would like to try a Lobster Roll once in my life. So he asked a colleague, who in turn went into the house and asked someone there. \n\nHe invited me to come in and I quickly ordered the original ...which I received within a minute and ate outside.\n\nSometimes simple compilations can be so good...even if you as a European can't imagine that at first and initially feel pity for the lobster that landed its triggered meat in simple mayo on a warm light simple bun...but honestly: \n\nIt was really delicious...and the composition was coherent. \nThe lobster meat was of very good quality...you could just taste it. It was nicely mixed with the delicious majo and pulled through, plus the warm bun....simple but damn delicious and authentic. \n\nI can wholeheartedly recommend it...and obviously many others. Because as I only read later, when I looked around on their website, JAMES HOOK & Co even received several awards.\n\nBesides, it is an owner-managed family business in the third generation..and such businesses that are an original and bring a lot of work and passion to their actions, I think it is important to support!“

“I went there for a late lunch today. The stuffed clam dinner came with a large portion of fries, a tasting of coleslaw, cocktail sauce and a roll. To be honest, 1 stuffed clam and a few fries was MORE than filling! I took the rest home for dinner - it was delicious! It was relatively quiet when I was there, and it was hard to find waitstaff when I needed something she forgot (they were all congregated by the “seat yourself / cash only” sign). I would definitely go again and get the side order of stuffed clams next time.“

“500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

The food is excellent - we have never had anything we did not love. With evolving menus and new items it always feels fresh.
The service is impeccable. The kindest most attentive and thoughtful waitstaff and bartenders. The people here really make the place.
Thoughtfully designed with cozy lighting and a fantastic bar the ambience checks all the boxes.

“we had a wonderful experience all around on a busy Sunday. The manager, Russ, greeted us with a warm smile, setting the tone for a great evening. we sat outside and Jorge F, took great care of us. He was prompt but we never felt rushed. the food was excellent, the Lobster cones are a great new item. we also had the classic mussels. The grilled salmon was delicious. Russ was leading his team through a busy shift but was able to make time to ensure everything was just right. The best in the Seaport.“

“The food here was absolutely delicious! 😍 Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The clam chowder and lobster roll are a must-try — creamy, rich, and perfectly cooked. 🦞
The only small downside was that we were a group of four, and one of us had to wait quite a while for their soup while everyone else was already served.
Still, the food was worth the wait — definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Boston. Highly recommend this place! 💙“

“I’m a picky one when it comes to eating fish. This little shop right under the Fore River Bridge is the absolute best spot if you want fish so fresh it is obvious that it is the day’s catch! The batter is perfectly light, doesn’t separate from the fish and the result is simply the best fried fish I’ve EVER TASTED! Do yourself a favor and check them out!“

We had the whole fish that came with sides topped with a fresh Guinness. Everything was expertly prepared. Dessert was through the roof. Great restaurant, attentive staff.“

“If this is the Fishermans Fleet that had a spot in Everett, and I’m pretty sure it is. I worked there back in the 80’s, and this is the next best thing to fresh off the boat, these guys know all the local fishermen and we supplied and sold more seafood than anywhere because it’s always fresh. Miss these guys, good people! Paul and Larry“

“Great time at the Boston Logan Airport Legal Sea Food. Food was perfect as expected, and the service was wonderful - even for a busy Memorial Day Weekend Saturday. I had a great view of the planes taking off, and I even made friends with some table neighbors. All in all, it was a great experience. A+“
