“We got the Brie appetizer and popcorn shrimp (which came with actual popcorn seasoned with curry spices and delicious) both were incredible!
Then we got a Mediterranean Salmon & lobster ravioli. Awesome portions, INCREDIBLE taste, tons of lobster in the ravioli dish.
We enjoyed everything here and were super impressed!“

“Stopped at Essex Seafood, for the first time, yesterday. I can’t say enough good things about it! The building, inside and out, is immaculate! Once you get inside, the help is courteous and kind! And the food is so good! My wife and I, each got a special, and the portions were huge. Everything was delicious, and their onion rings are awesome. You cannot go wrong, stopping here!“

“Excellent food with tons of choices. The managers and staff are personable and overall very helpful. I love bringing my kids in for food and live music (they love the rolls). Chowder is fantastic my favorite starter. You can’t beat the views and the atmosphere overall.“

PBR score 17 out 18 they do not have PBR but no one cares cause good island style restaurant.

“the Food is very good BUT too expensive for what you get. I ordered a Fisherman's Platter and it was like a single plate. I can go to many other places and spend a lot less for a lot more! The people are very nice there so I wish them well! If I win the Lottery I'll be back! too $$$$$“

“We went yesterday for St. Patrick’s day. We had reservations for 30 people. They put us in our own sun room which was perfect! Asia was our server and she was outstanding! She was always right there to bring another drink or put in another appetizer. Thank you so much for an amazing day with family and friends! I will definitely be back. The chicken wings and steak and cheese egg rolls were delicious!!“

“Had a very nice lunch here with 3 adults and 2 kids (ages 3 and 2).
The food was good as always but the server was evrn better. She was so kind and patient with our grandkids. She mentioned she had 3 of her own and understood a day out with young kids.
We will definitely be back there for both the food and the awesome service!“

“I haven't been there for years and have been thinking about it so I finally ordered a Yankee Pot Roast. It was superb and I will definitely be back but I was disappointed they didn't include gravy for my double order of mashed. I will be specific next time. I gotta try the prime rib too, I never had a bad steak there.“

“After having visited several less then satisfactory Chinese food restaurants, my mother and I decided to try the Eighty Eight. The food was delicious. We were very pleasantly surprised. We opted to eat in, which we both enjoyed. It's a great (very clean) place to spend a quiet meal with a friend or loved one. You can stay as long as you want, and the owners/staff were very nice.“

“Just had three varieties of steak and cheese subs. Ordered large onion rings and french fries. These are extremely generous orders. We should have gotten a small order of each. All three subs very good. Fast delivery. 4 people eating 3 large subs and we have leftovers. Good taste. Good value. Can't get good steak and cheese like this in the Midwest!!“

“I would recommend going here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh and presented beautifully on our plates. We had a table on the deck outside and it’s was a great view of the boats and the river/ocean. We had a great experience and you won’t be disappointed!“

“We got take out and a lot of it. Everything was great. I was happy to get New England Chinese food as it just isn’t the same in Florida. I didn’t pick it up so I don’t know how the service was; although the family buys here all the time. We ate at home.“

“We drive 45 minutes to & from to eat at the Clam Box. My husband grew up down the street and I worked in town for 15 years. Plus my parents would take me there as a kid. ALWAYS consistent! ALWAYS delicious. 10 out of 10! Worth the wait in line at peak season every time!“
