They were extremely friendly & helpful through the whole process from helping with ordering answering a million questions lol to the day of with delivery right to the party! “I’ve been coming to Family Pizzeria for years, and even left them a 5-star review over 7 years ago. After a long break since 2020, I finally made it back—and I’m happy to say the place is just as great, if not better, than I remember.

The dining room is clean, cozy, and welcoming with exposed brick, friendly vibes, and plenty of seating. The staff was warm and attentive throughout our visit, making the experience feel personal and relaxed. It was great to see the same sense of family and community I remembered from before.

“I grabbed dinner at a local pizza spot last week with a friend and it turned out pretty good. The crust had a nice chew and the sauce tasted fresh, not overly sweet, which I liked alot. We shared a pepperoni and a small salad, both came out hot and pretty quick even though the place was kinda busy. Staff was friendly without being pushy and the prices felt fair for what you get. Not the most fancy enviroment, but comfy enough. I’d definately go back when I’m craving a simple, solid slice.“

“Their food is amazing. The wife and I have been doing their cauliflower crust pizza with only chicken, broccoli, olive oil and garlic (no cheese), it is our treat for our diet. I could eat it everyday! We have both lost weight and still can enjoy a treat every once in a while. We have never had a bad meal there! I got intrigued and it visited the place again one night after work and it was like 2am and the place was open ! I had the stromboli was the BEST Stromboli I ever had! I really recommend this place out.“

“Iris told us she has owned this place since 1963! She took so much care to make sure we got the food we wanted in the time we had to sit down and eat. Everything is fresh baked, woth fresh ingredients and it definitely makes the difference. It reminded me of my grandparents, the way they used to cook.

Some small notes, but not to deter you, make sure you go to the bathroom before hand because there is none here. It does take some time for deserts, because they are made fresh; about 30 minutes. The tables can be a bit wobbly, but it all has a wonderful, thoughtful presentation from the old country, as she put it. We did not see alcohol on the menu, but it was nothing problem to grab beer across the street and eat it with our wings and pizza.

The pizza was exactly what we wanted from that Greek/Italian style, cut into squares and the wings were surprisingly good. Get the garlic parm.

“We had my baby shower at John’s Pizzeria in Chicopee, and the experience was amazing! Booking was easy, and the staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. They even let us decorate, which made everything feel so special. Our waitress, Dailene, was phenomenal and made sure we had everything we needed. The owner also came out to check on us, which really showed how much they care about their customers. 10000/10 experience! I highly recommend this place if you’re planning an event. Their pizza looks nice, so not sure why they don't photograph it. Tasty food, pizza not greasy, it's kind of old-school American Italian style. More of a takeout spot since seating is limited. Visiting from out of town and I would definitely order again.“

Ordered a mini pizza, which at 10" was more than enough for 1. Fresh chicken, bacon and tomatoes, delicious tomato base, overall a very good pizza. Fries were crispy and generous portion, grinder was toasty and filled, everything was hot and fresh. The pizza was a good size and my kids devoured it. The staff was friendly, place was clean. Their pizza has always been very good as is their grinders. Consistent food really good not much of a neat in place but if you’re looking for great pizza or great food, they have good choices.“

The wait staff is so friendly and always makes us feel like we're having dinner at a friend's house. We almost always run into old friends there and never feel rushed. “On Saturday, August 16, 2025, my husband and I had the pleasure of eating a late lunch/early dinner at this wonderful restaurant. The service was pleasant and prompt, the decor was beautiful, and the food was delicious! Before our entrees, we split the potato skins appetizer. I really liked the crispy skin. (I don't usually eat all of the skin of potato skins, preferring the filling instead, but I ate all of mine from Zanto's!) The Shrimp Scampi Provençal was one of the best versions of shrimp scampi that I've ever had. My husband raved about his dish of Scallops Massimo. I don't know if we'll ever be in that area of CT again, but if we are, we'll go out of our way to eat at Zanto's. 5/5“

I had 9 local restaurants menus available to our club members. 6 were pizza places and conservatively 80% of all food deliveries were from C&T. I remember one Saturday throwing out 24 pizza boxes from his place. And for me as good as the pizza is, think their grinders are even better.“

If you have to wait a little extra or they’re not always open when you expect try to have some patience. When you pick the pizza up fresh it’s the best I’ve had in the area no contest.“

“Drove 3 hours to play here because it was on a list of courses that cross state borders, but unfortunately this course had no signage or any information showing the border between CT and MA. The staff was real friendly and the clubhouse was clean. The course was in good shape despite a few traps with hard packed sand. The greens were fast with challenging pin locations. The fairways were in good condition and the rough was just thick enough to be challenging but not impossible to advance the ball. I would highly recommend playing this course.“
