“The staff was AMAZING!!! As someone who worked in the restaurant business for 28 years I was completely amazed at how the staff handled the crowd at the Freezin for a Reason fundraiser on Jan 1st. The place was completely jammed and they were so calm and accommodating. Someone was always there to take a drink order or whatever else you needed. We were there for the fundraiser, but we will absolutely be back to visit again! Thank you all so much for the great experience!!“

“Asia Mei is easily one of the best Chefs in Boston. I've eaten here several times, but I can't believe that I haven't written a review before now! My husband and I had brunch at moonshine 152 last weekend and told friends about it. Next thing you know, the four of us were in there around noon time today having brunch again. We shared three starters, alongside sharing all four entrées and everything, I mean everything was to die for! Ms Asia herself delivered some of our plates and she is just as delightful as she is talented. Needless to say, dinner is amazing here as well. The vibe in the restaurant is so easy and you can tell that the staff get along very well together. What I can't believe is how this place wasn't fully packed today or last weekend even. Definitely a good amount of patrons, but I've had brunch at places that are hard to get into and left much less satisfied.“

“My husband and I sat outside and had a lovely snack in the sun, away from most of the hustle & bustle that October brings to Salem. We thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash hummus, falafel, and cauliflower & quinoa tabouleh but the real highlight for us was the apple cider! Holy. It was the best we had on our trip around New England. Not too sweet, served nice & hot, lightly spiced and so, so good! The service was wonderful as well! “We always have the best experience here! My boyfriend and I had our 1st date here, 1 year ago today and wanted to recreate it. We let the restraunt know via an OpenTable reservation note for the sole purpose of getting the same booth, and they over exceeded our expectations! The Moxie team set aside our exact table for us with a very personal hand written note congratulating us for the occasion. Additionally, they had an eager server just as excited as us with a complimentary bottle of champagne. Since our first date we have chosen to celebrate Valentine's Day & other special occasions here, as we have always had such an amazing experience and great food (best Cesar salad we've ever had!). They ended the night with a special desert which left my boyfriend and I both blown away with the effort and dedication they put into making our occasion special. We recommend to anyone for great food and great service! Thank you again the moxie team for making this so special, we are excited to return for our next occasion!“

“Fabulous evening. I made my reservation a month ago and was surprised when we were seated in a faraway corner on the lower level. We asked to move upstairs and the host gladly accommodated us. Our server was attentive and friendly and made great recommendations. Calamari was a little salty, but everything else was perfect! This is always my favorite pre-ballet spot. A nice espresso martini is just right to stay awake for the rest of the evening!“

“Stopped in on a Thursday night with the family, no reservations, and waited about 35 minutes for a table. Totally worth it.

We ordered two pizzas, the burrata salad, and a charcuterie board, and everything hit the mark. The pizzas were perfectly cooked, great crust and flavor, the burrata was fresh and creamy, and the charcuterie board was exactly what you’d hope for—quality meats and cheeses done right.

Food came out quick, service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe was casual but lively.

Bottom line: food was mad good, everyone left happy, and I’d absolutely come back.“

“A lively, huge restaurant and bar, with a wide variety of menu items to really appeal to / accommodate everyone's tastes and dietary needs.

The staff is quite friendly and professional. They have a great musical playlist with the accompanying videos on TV screens. They also have sports on other screens and a huge bar in the middle of it all.

There is also a sizable, covered outdoor space.

My mother and I go specifically for their Chicken Nachos - they're SO good!

There was a large group of seniors there for a special outing. The food they ordered looked so good and they told me that it was delicious and they had so much fun. It's a great idea to take people here for almost any special occasion, in my opinion.

We went on a warm night, through a Boston heat wave, and the open doors and patio-style setup - in addition to the amazing food and service (my drinks never stayed empty for long, and there were more appetizers than I could sample) truly made the night feel like paradise.

“Bambara is a delicious gem tucked into the Kimpton Hotel in Cambridge. We loved everything about this restaurant. The teamwork, the food and excellent service. Lobster roll is the real Boston deal, perfection. The oysters served between 5-7 are a must. Superior wine selection that changes periodically (we've been a few times). The steak, scallops and salmon prepared as requested and were so “good”! We had thanksgiving dinner here and it was incredible. We stay often at this hotel and will always dine here at least once.“

“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v“

“Not sure what the experience the other reviewers here had but we had an unbelievably amazing experience! The views were out of this world- nowhere else in Beverly can say the same. Our server Carolyn was absolutely amazing- she was so diligent with the allergies at our table and took the time to recommend things that would fit all of our needs.
