“I just wanna start by saying I don’t write reviews, but this subway in particular has amazing people owning it. I used to work next-door at the honeydew over eight years ago and used to come by often for lunch. I stopped going there as often after I stopped working next-door. Whenever I’m in The area and in the mood to stop by it could be months or years the owner still remembers my Face and asks me how I’m doing or long time no see. It’s the people like this, who make franchises feel more of a small local business and more personal who make all the experience such as ordering a sandwich so much more.“

The savory breakfast items are especially popular. I personally think it’s good not great (a little too greasy), but their generous bacon-oriented offerings are especially popular.

“Perfect little sub shop in Backbay. We opted for the Italian Sub to go. The atmosphere was awesome with a lot of locals getting what seemed to be a regular daily lunch meal. The staff and customers seemed to know each other and a sense of community was ever so prevalent. The food itself was outstanding, even after a 5 hour train ride it traveled with us to ur next stop. Highly recommend this place. Truly a diamond in the rough.“

The food and drinks were sooo delicious. 😋 I had the Bom Dia breakfast sandwich, while my friend ordered the Greek breakfast sandwich. “Haven't been to this place in years but, boy sm I glad I did. Got a steak onion and cheese sub at 8 AM, because I could order that at what would be other shops " Breakfast only" time. Nice soft roll ,steak NOT chopped to oblivious gravel like other shops. This spot IS the spot for a steak and cheese . I'm gonna go back and try all the ol standards again done right. Kudos. Can't wait to try a simple hit dog. Believe it or not, people screw that up . But according to the reviews I've seen, they're done just right. It's really nice to know that these non pretentecious simply good food places still do exist.“

“I’ve been coming here my entire life 25 years old, but I had the best experience so far as in this week the pretty woman managers has always had their neck out for me and then Nick the shift lead really helped me out with a coupon despite not being valid or something like that, but since I came in Twice earlier that week. I got the coupon at New England fan Fest in Swansea mass from D’Angelo’s customer service rep. They were able to give me a 20% discount not the full coupon and Elijah did whatever it took to help me out awesome staff. Also random but back in 2008 there was a blonde, white haired gentleman named Dick, who was the manager. He was pretty awesome. He would give us a tour of the place.“

When my immigrant parents said “ Study Hard” they meant so I can live in a neighborhood that serves sandwiches like those found at Michael’s Deli. “Have been seeing this place for a bit on my way to flour bakery. Today I decided to try it. I walked in met Nico (nice and helpful). Because it was a new place and they had so many offerings I asked Nico what he would recommend. Nico asked me about allergies and if there was anything I wouldn’t eat. I responded no and he then recommended the California a (chicken, bacon, tomato, lettuce and mayo). My sandwich was great and I will return to try something new Great service, clean and great prices! “Stopped in to Jimmy’s Market today and the advertising I’ve seen on how good their food is was definitely accurate. I ordered a Brennan which was chicken fingers, American cheese, delicious bacon, topped with a nice honey mustard. Definitely very tasty. My buddy ordered a steak and cheese with mushroom, pepper and onion. It looked amazing and he said it was delicious. They were busy celebrating 50 years in business and there is no wonder why they’ve been so successful for so long. We definitely recommend stopping by!“

“Because the majority of their food, dressings, sauces, etc are made in-house and taste incredible. You pay a little more for some of their items but it is definitely worth every penny. And the portion sizes are great too. Their menu takes u from soups, wraps, cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, salads and hot dishes. The staff are extremely helpful in tweaking an item to fit your needs. James Beard award I’m sure will be coming soon.“

I went and redeemed my card and purchased 2 bags of chips and a Diet Coke. When I get to work I check my account and he charged me $11.77. I assume he forgot to give me my free sandwich and go back. He then goes on to tell me that the bags of chips are $2.50 each, he charged me another $2.50 because I asked for hot peppers on my sandwich. He then says the 20oz soda is $4.25… I know he arbitrarily made up these prices on the fly as I was obviously a frequent customer and none of this matches up to my previous purchases. If you don’t want people to get a free sandwich don’t have the card.“

“Im not sure if this is the same ADK shop in roxbury by Mt Pleasant St, but if it is i went there today on a whim. I was hungry after an 11 hour work day. Doing laundry next door and decided to stop by.
I asked the gentleman at the counter if they did Tripleta sandwiches as they weren't on the menu. He didnt hesitate to say yes and in 10 minutes chuffed me up the BEST SANDWICH I have ever eaten in my life. The meat was tender and rich, the pepper jack cheese had the perfect kick, the red onions and mayo perfectly went with the sandwich. I had to go back just to let the only guy working he did amazing. Im just your average white guy who was more than impressed by this sandwich. I highly reccomend.“
