“Came here for a late Sunday dinner. Food was good. Started off with the Fried Spring Rolls and Summer Rolls. For entrees, we tried the Bun Bo Hue, Fried Pork Spring Roll Bowl and Traditional Vietnamese Banh Mi Sandwich. Portions are decent size! Pina Colada cocktail was okay.“

“A year ago, I tried the Salted Matcha Latte with oat milk ($7.50). It tasted just as good as my favorite matcha place but was less bang for my buck (smaller and more expensive). Came back recently to try the new Plum Pineapple Matcha Latte ($7.50), and it was not nearly as good, as I could not taste the matcha at all this time (even though the color looked promising), so I am bumping down a star.

Also, it seems like they do not properly—or unevenly—adjust the matcha ratio if you order the 16oz, as you end up with a much milkier drink that will dilute the matcha, so I suggest ordering the 12oz.“

“My family and I love Noodle Market. We usually order the Crispy Rolls, Tofu & Veggie Salad, and a Curry or Pad Thai. The wonderful waitress remembers us and our usual order perfectly! I also like that the background music isn't too loud -- I don't go to some restaurants because of the current trend of playing music too loud for conversation and relaxation. Noodle Market is a favorite!“

Each dish we savored at this cute and cozy Dorchester restaurant was a culinary treat and delight, hitting all the right spots, from the lip-smacking banh coun to the addictive chicken and banana blossom salad, every bite was a journey of flavors. The free ice tea added a touch of authenticity to the dining experience as if I were back in Vietnam. The vegetarian pho and fresh spring rolls were exceptional, showcasing the diverse offerings on their extensive menu that’s priced right for the large portions. Moreover, the warm and diligent staff elevated our dining experience, ensuring every detail was perfect. The owner Sy Le was the nicest guy, he really cares about his customers and his employees and it shows! “This review is long overdue, but this is a great Thai small business to support. The place is cozy [with seasonal outdoor seating] and the staff is always warm. The Drunken noodles are my go-to and it is a generous portion of noodles AND protein...for the most part. I strongly discourage paying extra for extra protein as I paid $3 for EXTRA protein and received 3 small shrimp. This seems to be a trend as I have ordered DN at two other places and the extra fee was not reflected in the portion delivered. But Mae does deliver consistently outside of this.“

“First time visiting and we ordered the Bun Ga Nuong combo. It came with two pieces of shrimp and a very generous portion of grilled meat—so much that I was able to enjoy it over two meals.

This was a takeaway order, and unfortunately I only realized after sitting down to eat that the bag was missing the spring rolls that are supposed to come with the combo. On top of that, one of us has a severe peanut allergy, and the dish had peanuts scattered throughout, making it unsafe to eat.

I called the restaurant right away. The owner immediately apologized, acknowledged they had forgotten the spring rolls, and offered to remake the dish without peanuts. She also told me to keep the original order, which I appreciated.

When I returned, they apologized again and gave me a freshly prepared replacement along with three spring rolls. While it was inconvenient to make the extra trip, I was grateful for how they handled the situation.

In hindsight, I would usually check about nuts, but I didn’t recall seeing it mentioned on the menu. Typically, peanuts are served on the side to prevent them from getting soggy, so this caught me off guard.

Overall, great portion sizes and solid customer service recovery.

“My first visit here. I had a dish where you make your own rice paper rolls with a protein. I had pork and it came with peanuts, carrots, watercress, cucumber, rice and a sweet mild fish sauce. It was delicious and fun. I didn't finish and for my to go box they included a fresh container of the dipping sauce so I was able to have the exact same thing again at home.“

“Pho Viet is one of my favorite spots in Newton Center! The food is always delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really tell that they care about the quality of what they serve.

“Pho 1 has changed a lot and I’ve been going there for years. Last night I ordered the beef soup for take out and when I got home and opened it the meat was like shredded and not the same consistency that had been in the past. These are hard times for all of us and giving customers scraps is no acceptable. I will go again later in the year and see if they have improved.“

“Morning Saigon has hands down the best Banh Mi sandwich in the area, and I've tried nearly all the vietnamese eateries around boston. The flavors and ingredients are more complex and better balanced than all the other banh mi Ive had. The vietnamese coffee are excellent too, strong and well balanced.

They take your order at the counter and make the banh mi and coffee in front of you with a lot of care. Heidi is very knowledgeable, thoughtful about recommendations, and genuinely friendly. Three visits, three great experiences.“

“My family and I came out on a weekday in July to Le’s for a quick lunch. We were seated right away and the server brought us the menu.

The menu has many Vietnamese options.Even family style dishes. The seating area is very big so great for large gatherings. There is also a downstairs area for private functions.

We ordered fresh spring rolls, grilled salmon, beef with rice and small pho soup.

1 of the server was very friendly and told us that a celebrity had come in early for lunch. It was nice to hear stories from the server.

The food came out nice and hot.

This place is great because it is located inside a small mall with underground parking garage. We came during a thunderstorm shower.

Perfect for people coming out of town to check out Harvard square or touring near by colleges. Also, great for college students.“

“Nice for a quick lunch, and sometimes i go just for the fries and bubble tea. The togarashi fries are always excellent! Crispy, hot, and can dip in spicy mayo. For veg options I usually get the Noodle Salad with paprika tofu and the spicy peanut sauce. Everyone also likes the crispy katsu chicken. One note of caution: the brown sugar bubble tea is inexplicably bad! The plain milk tea is good though :)“

“We had a very nice late lunch. The food was excellent and I was able to add tendon to my soup and that was an excellent addition. Will be back again down the road the Lord willing. They need better signage as it was not supper easy to find bases on the name. I added a photo so you can have a chance of finding the place. 😀“
