“I kid you not - one of the best breads I've had in a while. There's a reason why people wait in line for this place. (Don't worry the lines aren't too long and go pretty quickly). I bought some croissants and a Demi baguette - it was foolish of me to think I'd wait till I was home to eat the baguette! Worth the visit and can't wait till I'm back! Also can't wait to try the coffee bar next door...“

“Best coffee shop in spring Hill, and gives everything in Davis a run for their money easy. Always a line out the door on weekends and deservedly, but they move fast. Great pepper biscuits, great yogurt. BLT is weirdly bad but the turkey sandwich is great.“

“I came here to celebrate Valentine's day with my husband. Personally speaking, I've not been a big fan of Asian fusion food, but I was delightfully surprised by the food at Myers & Chang. We got one beef udon dish and a braised beef dish, with both turning out very good but both a bit salty - so we had to get one more bowl of rice to top up. Additionally, they were kind enough to let me order a drink from the brunch menu. I would come back!“

“Very kind staff from the start! Can't quote me, but I believe I ordered a Banana Babka? No sign next to the pastry to confirm, but it was GOOD. It was dense, yet flaky with the right amount of sweetness for my taste buds. After a brisk walk in the park, this was a fantastic bakery to check out and treat ourselves to. We didn't stay for long, but with the ample space they have within, it looks to be a great spot to work on a laptop or hang out and connect.“

“Love this place. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. My gf and I tend to always get the same thing-Pan roasted chicken, and the jambalaya. Been favorites for years. Large selection of beers and cocktails. Highly recommend for anyone new to the area. It has a great "Somerville" vibe.“

“This Thai restaurant in Cambridge, MA was a fantastic discovery! The food was exceptionally delicious, and we enjoyed every dish we ordered. The vegetable salad with blue rice was a delightful surprise, with its vibrant colors. The service was also excellent, with smiles all around. The only downside was the need for improvement in their furniture seats and decor. Nonetheless, we’ll definitely be coming back on our next visit to Boston for the marathon.“

“Well ok, I admit the cookies are good, it's expensive but mama the taste. On the other hand, the new lemon cookie which is $4.75 instead of $4.25 would be a matter of dosing. The uncooked dough still of course falls in the stomach. Still a line but it goes quickly.“

“My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!“

“I recommend nothing after seeing how terribly they treated a customer this afternoon at the medford sq location. guy came in to pickup pre-ordered cake that was paid for. he was told they didn't have the cake. no apology, no offer deliver cake in the morning.....NOTHING. THE customer finally asked for the only 2 cakes left which were much smaller than cake ordered. he wanted happy birthday written on the cakes and was told it couldn't be done....not sure why. 30 minutes before closing time. the beaten down guy said...I'll take those 2 cakes in replace of the cake I ordered that you failed to make. I was literally floored when the kid behind counter said ...we can't just give you those cakes. you have to pay for them. this could have been handled so many ways better. and again, not one we are sorry. none of the stuff here is anything great...the guy should have went and got a cake at the grocery store. when businesses mistreat and disrespect their customers that's it for me. modern pastry is a small business....I've seen customers treated much better at wal.art and Costco. shame on modern pastry“

“Had a great experience at this local coffee shop. Both of our drinks were absolutely delicious- got the iced strawberry matcha and a plain cold brew. Might be my new favorite cold brew in the area! Also tried the garlic pao de queijo, which came steaming hot and was amazing. 10/10 experience and great atmosphere to get some studying in.“

“Love this place. It’s my refuge in the mornings before going into work.I’m so glad they changed the music to more mellow sounds like Slowdive, Cigarettes After Sex, and REM. That with a lower volume made the ambience that much better and more welcoming to folks wanting to quiet their minds or have a conversation. We just moved here from LA and I’m glad we found this place. Great food, lovely staff, interesting smart clientele, and peaceful ambiance. Highly Recommended.“

“I love the people here; they carry a friendly, honest, warm attitude as flavorful as the pastries that are baked here. I have gotten a large oat milk latte and four pastries that are recommended by the staff. The latte was perfectly heated to combat the current Boston cold winds. The pastries were all not overpowering! I loved how light they were and how nicely they can be paired with a latte. (1) Blueberry muffin (2) Ham and cheese croissant (3) Cinnamon bun - a classic (4) Sugar Brioche bun I went to this inspired by my previous lab PI introducing the breakfast sandwich with light mayonnaise. The egg is so soft. I love the location and atmosphere of the cafe that is suitable for delightful conversations and studying with headphones.“

“We really enjoyed this spot. It was very busy when we came by. They gave us a menu to look at while we waited. We got edamame, pork gyoza and Niku Udon. So yummy! Gyoza was perfectly crispy. My daughter practically inhaled the edamame, I only got a few! The noodles were chewy and delicious. And the meat was so tender it just fell apart. Open kitchen so you can kinda see the cooking happening. And the server will help you package your soup up to go, which I greatly appreciated. Will definitely be back to try something else from the menu“

“Initially I was concerned that I wouldn't find any vegan options in Boston. The Life Alive Organic Cafe in Cambridge was a great find. They are plant based having vegetarian and vegan options. The food is fresh, quality and the tastes a great.A wide range of dishes including warm grain bowls, salads, wraps, noodles and soups, and desserts. The beverages include smoothies, cold pressed juices, coffees, teas and suoerfood.lattes.This is definitely on par with the best vegan food I have had in London. Free WiFi, great food and service what more could you ask for. A short distance from MIT you should put it on your to do list.Pictured are Miso Tofu Ramen, Grilled Pita and Blue Breeze.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“

“We just returned from a 3 night stay at The Four Seasons One Dalton for the Boston Marathon. Everything was perfection from start to finish. The staff at this hotel are absolutely incredible and go above and beyond to make your stay special and anticipate and take care of your every need. They had a special delivery for me on the day of the marathon and even surprised my wife with a birthday cake for her birthday the next day. This is a true 5 star hotel with 5 star service. “I stopped in here with a friend after a long walk and I'm so glad we went here. We got there not too much before closing, but they were just as friendly and accommodating as if we got there first thing. They have a ton of options, including plenty for vegetarians and vegans. I got the breakfast burrito (as I am seemingly always craving one) and my friend got the caprese. I was tempted by the treats they had in the display case, but we opted just to get our sandwich/burrito. Our food came out quickly and was perfectly made. I really appreciated that the egg in my burrito was bodega-style which made it so much less messy to eat. My friend practically devoured her sandwich; she thought the maple balsamic was so tasty and the veggies and pesto were really fresh. She has food allergies and was really happy with how much they laid out what was and wasn't in the food. They had convenient parking and plenty of outdoor tables. I will definitely come back when I'm in town.“

“Came in for a quick visit and the main seating area was very busy. Lots of people working, which is to be expected for any cafe in Boston. The staff was friendly and lively when they took my order. “Really delicious food and casual + friendly atmosphere. We tried different dishes and the flavors are like nothing we've ever tried before--really enjoyable experience and an instant favorite. We especially appreciated that they had a vegetarian menu, so it made it easy to try all sorts of food. Another plus is that you can buy some of the foods to go as they have an assortment of pre-packaged foods to bring home, like balachaung (a topping we ordered for the food that was super delicious).Vegetarian options: Had a separate vegetarian only menu, easy to choose from.Kid-friendliness: Very casual atmosphere, great for families and kids (as long as kids enjoy the food!)“

“Amazing Vegan Ice cream. I have a dairy allergy and I’ve tried a lot of different vegan desserts. These taste exactly like the regular desserts. I had the grasshopper pie with hot fudge and it was amazing. You can even buy toppings for at home use - I bought a jar of hot fudge! Also I love the take a drawing/poem and leave one. I want to do it next time! Would love to see a vegan ice cream flight! Or little ice cream sandwiches.“

“The menu is quite expansive, so this is a good catering option. I love middle eastern/Mediterranean food, so I’ve tried a lot of different places in Boston. Compared to other places, I wouldn’t say Sultana’s makes the cut for my favorites, but it wasn’t bad.- Spinach feta quiche: The portion size is good, but the flavor was bland. I wasn’t able to finish it.- Cookies: The cookies weren’t overly sweet, which I liked. They were crumbly yet soft.- Fruit yogurt pastry: This was my favorite. I liked that they are bite-sized (though, this is also dangerous because you’ll end up eating a lot). The pastry was flaky, and the yogurt was sweet, which balanced the tartness of the fruits.- Caprice acma: I wasn’t a fan of this. The acma was too doughy. Maybe it would have tasted better warm.Happy to have tried a new place, but I probably wouldn’t come back.“

“Really good eats here! The broccoli cheddar soup was pretty salty but very flavorful and Hearty. The sticky bun was great- fluffy soft bread and plenty of pecans. Also very much enjoyed trying the half sizes of the mushroom melt sandwich, the Butternut Squash sandwich, and the achiote chicken sandwich. The raspberry oat bar was nice too, and the carrot cake was very moist and with a lot of cream cheese frosting that wasn't overly sweet. There are seating areas downstairs and upstairs which include bar seats and benches and regular chairs, as well as an elevator to the second floor. The staff were very professional and friendly and we saw them help visually impared customers with great courtesy. The only thing I would skip is the chai latte- it tasted pretty bland.“

“Perfectly good coffee. Friendly service. I like that they ask you how you want it. I'm also a big fan of a coffee shop where the barista doesn't look at me like I'm crazy when I asked her to melt the sugar with hot coffee before she puts it into my iced coffee. A little on the expensive side.“
