I got a black Vietnamese coffee as well that was delicious and bold, they have oat milk for lattes and are open to customization. Small inside but nice table and bar seating, cozy atmosphere. Solid option in the area around Boston’s best art museums!“

“Got the classic Benedict with beef brisket plate. Solid all around with the highlight being the bread. Poached eggs mixed with the Brazilian bread was great.

Atmosphere is a standard cafe where you have to find your own seating after ordering. It gets quite filled on the weekends.“

Some days they have music blasting at a headache inducing volume so it’s not a reliably great place to work or meet friends.“

“What a cute coffee shop and bakery! I had the espresso soda, a cranberry scone, and a bag of black sesame short bread. The espresso was very flavorful and well made with good crema. The baked goods are incredible, lovely textures and flavors. It's sometimes hard to find a really good scone that isn't overly sweet and this really hit the right balance. Great service as well.“

In a city where larger, established bakeries often dominate, it’s inspiring to see a small, grassroots operation like Michette making its mark. There’s something special about seeing the community embrace a place that’s focused so much on quality and craft. I tried their canelé and chocolate croissant, which lived up to their reputation. The canelé was perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and custardy within, and the chocolate croissant had these endless layers, each bite flaking away to reveal the deep chocolate tucked inside. You can taste the skill and attention that goes into these pastries; it’s obvious they’re baked with genuine love.

Michette feels like it could quickly become a contender for one of Boston’s go-to bakeries. I’ll be back soon, and if you’re a pastry lover, this place is definitely worth a visit.“

“We got the muffuletta sandwich and it was SPECTACULAR! It was a new sandwich for us…the bread was perfectly paired to the style of sandwich and fresh. The meats and cheese were delicious and the olive garnish and herbs enhanced this unique taste experience. We took the sandwich to go but the restaurant was clean and relaxed atmosphere. “I absolutely LOVE this place. We have so many brunch options in the area, but THIS is the right choice remember I said it. The mini donuts are a dream. I literally dreamt about them 🤣 Brussel sprouts are mouth watering & the apple cinnamon pancakes are out of this world! The breakfast sandwich is on a cheddar biscuit… nuff said! The service was so outstanding I didn’t have to ask for anything! They made me feel like I was family 💜 I will be back for dinner, which is just as great as brunch but for brunch look no further! “A perfect place for a friends lover! This cozy cafe was filled with references and hospitality. The manager Aaron was extremely kind to my husband and I. He really made us feel welcome in Boston. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! I recommend the house roast and the salmon bagel.“

“Great food! Make sure to try the Pizza breakfast sandwich - open faced sourdough bread with pizza sauce, an egg, and pizza cheese. Delicious, and even heated up the yolk was still a little runny. Excellent coffee and english muffins as well.

My only criticism is that they need more help - there were 3 people in line and only one person serving customers. I could hear more people in back, but had to wait quite some time as the person in front of me had a large order.“

The food was amazing! Great unique flavors and very healthy and fresh in quality. I loved that there were options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free and found the menu to be varied-- from crepes to bfast sandwiches to omelets to eggs benedict to stuffed french toast.
