The restaurant’s manager greeted us and our wonderful hostess seated us on the garden patio, which we reserved. The food and lovely outside were amazing! The Moroccan mint tea was amazing! The Mo-Mo’s were so yummy!! The fried trout and grits are an AMAZING combo!!“

I was driving and came upon this restaurant i didn't plan on going to this restaurant but I said to self stop and get a few Patties and wouldn't you know they had no Patties. I left the restaurant with Corn Soup Peas & Rice Chicken Roti Beef Roti. I also got to try a dessert I've never had before I don’t know the name of it but had Guava Sweet Potato Coconut and other things to make this dessert which was really good so I ordered 2 to go. D Coal Pot is definitely a place you must visit and get a meal.“

The food is always delicious, I always make sure to order a chicken and waffles (and make sure to ask about the specials because their creativity for their waffles is through the roof!). I've had the privilege of using them as a catering service, going in with friends for a bite to eat, or grabbing take out and each and every time the service was above and beyond. The food was great, especially the Rasta pasta with chicken, wings, and sticky ribs, and the drinks were absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself was beautiful, with different seating areas that each had their own vibe.

But the absolute best part of our experience was our server, Kathy. She was such a pleasure- attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, and her energy was unmatched. She somehow knew when we were having more serious conversations and when to give us space, while still checking in at just the right moments. Whether it was giving us space, checking in, or simply bringing her sunshine and positive energy to the table, she truly made our night special.

It was a very generous gesture and showed how much they appreciate delivery drivers and customers. The staff was friendly, respectful, and the service was excellent.
