“We have been going to Uchi since the opening week, and the food and service have only improved over time. We get takeout most weeks, and have enjoyed every item we've ordered, from various appetizers (we love the shrimp shumai) to entrees of sushi, ramen, fried rice, etc., to the fried ice cream dessert. “Sushi Man is a restaurant with a long history in the Newton area, first being located in a smaller area right off of Route 9 before moving to their current location a few years ago.

The staff are really friendly and make the food quite quickly, reminds me of the service we used to get in the past.

The food was of good quality and how I remember it. It does tend to be on the expensive side for these meals, but was still pretty good and tasted well. The sushi was fresh, with good rice to fish ratio and presented well. The udon had a good broth that went well with the noodles, and had some toppings and sides that were crisp and tasty.“

“We made reservations online for the Omaska. It was $300 which broke down to $120 per person with tip and tax. The tables were perfectly space out. They gave us a 2 hour limit which was enough time for the 12 course Omaska. Presentation on everything was amazing. Each course was fresh and delicious in their own way. It was hard to hear the man over his mask so I couldn't get any names. We had uni, tuna belly, scallops, and more. All the Courses were small but packed with favor. You can take there was attention to detail in the ingredients and presentation. Definitely, worth the money was a special event like a birthday. Would definitely come back“

I love the cabbage and broccoli they were steamed and seasoned perfectly over the white rice. Definitely ask for extra sauce it was so, so good. Service is personable and excellent even when they are busy. [As an observation more than criticism, Asian restaurants in general have had to struggle obtaining and affording top quality rice of all sorts, from Japanese-grown short grain to premium Indian basmati. Unfortunately, it seems Yama is no exception — the rice is good and acceptable, but not exceptional.] Lunch bento boxes and sashimi/sushi specials are excellent and good value.“

“I love Takara in Medfield. The staff is wonderful. I eat here almost every week. Even during COVID, my family did take out weekly. This is my go-to restaurant. My wife takes me there as a reward!! The food is wonderful and well prepared. I think that I have tried almost everything on the menu over the years. My favorite meal is the spicy tuna avocado salad! The rest of my family enjoys the sushi, sashimi, and various maki rolls which I always help them finish. Korean inspired food is a nice twist on typical sushi. Great place with great service. Great bar and wines too!“

“This is a go to spot for me. I love the food. This time, I came for lunch and I veered from my usual pad woon sen and got some garlic shrimp bowl. They were shrimpy on the shrimp only giving 4, as pictured. Nevertheless, the food was absolutely delicious and the sauce was the perfect amount. I will get this again. “I got take out poke bowls and they were both really delicilious. I got my partner the ahi tuna bowl on salad. He said it was really tasty, but the salad was just big chunks of lettuce and not cut up quite right. That was the only negative remark. I got a build your own bowl with tofu and shrimp tempura with corn, seaweed salad, avocado, and edamame with spicy mayo. It was SO GOOD! The person behind the counter was so nice. I will absolutely be back often.

“We love ❤️ this place. The staff is wonderful and attentive. We eat here for “breakfast” every Gameday at Patriot Place. Sunday my wife and I had Cape Cod Maki and a Snow Mountain with Clams Casino as an appetizer and then a broiled seafood over spinach combo for me and steak tips for her and we were thoroughly satisfied until we got home at 6pm. “Enjoyed the 갈비 비빔밥 (Galbi Bibimbap) which is essentially marinated beef short rib in a mixture of white rice and fresh vegetables and a fried egg. It was delicious and an enjoyable experience watching the food cook in the hot bowl right in front of me. The rice at the bottom crisped up and gave the dish that extra crunch I was not expecting.
